How do I turn "voice over" OFF on my iphone 3GS?

in order to turn off voice over and on, press home key three times and than tap turn voice control button on/off THREE TIMES again. It is the shortest way to do it.

Turn Voice Over off:
Press Home.

Naming voice memos on iPhone 3GS not working.

I have an iPhone 3GS
I have many voice memos. I try to name them by pressing 'custom' then naming them, but once I quit the application, it NEVER saves the names. Does anyone know why? I know I'm doing everything 'right'; they appear named after I do this, but never after I quit and reopen the application.

It has been reported that Apple decided to block developer access to libraries using external display on iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS and iPods 1st, 2nd and 3rd generations.
While I understand some potential limitations on hardware capabilities for earlier models, the iPhone 3GS can output to TV from Apple private applications such as iPod, YouTube and Pictures/Videos without any problem. I strongly suspect that it is Apple strategy to force people to upgrade to new hardware. I personally find that limitation for the 3GS rather unjustified if it is based on technical limitations (no comment if it is a purely marketing strategy)

Voice Dialing On IPhone 3GS

Sorry....new to this. I had posted the question of how to find out what number is being voice dialed on an iPhone 3GS that appears as 000-000-0008 on my AT&T bill. I am able as access the phone, as posted earlier. I'm suspecting an app maybe like Google Voice or Umail. The individual is denying making the calls. As a side note, there are other calls from this line on the bill that said individual denies. I do not believe tI'm bring told the truth. Possibilities and thoughts please. Thank you so much. And yes, a marriage is on the line here, this not bring the only reason of course.

Help voice thingy in iphone 3gs

i have just got an iphone 3gs i was looking at all the new features, there was a voice activation service u click on it and the iphone talks to you and tells you exactly what you are pressing, it says "general tap twice"etc, and when i go in to try and turn it off it wont scroll down to turn it off, i am baffled someone help cheers

Hello I'm using an iPhone 5s(global version) A1530, and whenever I make a call I can't use data. 3G service is active. Whenever I get a call the 3G service gets disconnected and no data. Any idea whats going on? I'm using it in Sri Lanka and carrier Mobitel. Does the carrier affect this kind of a thing?

Are you sure you're backing up your photos and not importing them to your computer?
If you're backing up to iTunes, then the app data is part of the backup.

Voice over somehow got turned on after the ios 8 update and when i go to double tap and turn it off it wont turn off it just turns right back on

Just share with you guys, i having the same issue on iPhone 5. Using the iTunes to turn off the VoiceOver had fixed the issue for me.

Voice Memos not syncing from my iPhone 3GS to my MacBook Pro. Sync music is ticked in iTunes along with include Voice Memos box

Hi, I am trying to get my voice memos from my iPhone 3GS to my MacBook Pro via iTunes and it is not working. I have ticked sync music in the music tab of the iPhone device and the include voice memos box is also ticked. So, apparently this should work, but there is no sign of the voice memos in iTunes or in the iTunes folder in the finder window. Any ideas much appreciated! :-) Thank you.

I've always had the "Include Voice Memos" option selected. I think that only pertains to syncing voice memos from iTunes to the iPhone after it has been copied to iTunes. It has to be the new OS/iTunes not communicating that new memos have been recorded. For some reason they won't sync when I want them to, and then a few syncs later they magically appear.
By the way, I'm VERY comfortable with the iTunes and iPhone systems. I've been using iTunes for 5 years, and I've been recording class lectures with the iPhone voice memo app (and another app) for a couple years. It's not an error of not seeing that the memos were added; they don't exist in my library or music folders.
JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY, POST WHICH FIRMWARE YOU ARE RUNNING EXACTLY!!!

Iphone 5s black screen with Voice Over On

I turned on Voice Over on my iphone 5s and it started to repeat everything, so I had to punch 2 or 3 times some commands in order to go back and suddenly my screen blacked out. I have tried to restart the iPhone and can see the silver apple, but again I can hear the commands (I can still hear all the commands (Voice Over On, Screen Curtain On, 8:45, Screen Locked) but can’t see anything on the screen. Please help!

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with Voice Over. Try turning off the Screen Curtain by triple tapping the screen with three fingers.
Additionally, you can turn Voice Over off completely using these steps:
Press the home button three times quickly. This is also called "Triple-click Home".
If the VoiceOver feature still is on, you can navigate to Settings > General > Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off here.
If it is too difficult to access those settings on your iPhone, you can turn VoiceOver off using iTunes:

Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to any computer with iTunes installed.
In iTunes, select your device.
From the Summary pane, click Configure Universal Access in the Options section at the bottom.
Select the feature you would like to use and click OK.
