Voice Transformer bug?

I have been using the Voice Transformer plug in to change the sounds of peoples voices in my project.
I adjust the settings to the way I want them to give the people lower or deeper voices, but after it starts to play back Soundtrack makes it sound like a robot voice, if I stop the playback and play again it goes away and sounds the way I set it up to sound.
This would not be to bad of a bug, BUT! When I export the file to a AIFF or MP3 or whatever it renders the voice with the robot sound! not the settings I put on the effect. This is really annoying.
With all the hangs and beachballs that soundtrack gets I am half tempted to buy Pro-Tools with the DV ToolKit.
So what's the deal? Can anybody really use Soundtrack on big projects? I am only using 2 tracks with same effect on each track and it can't handle even that.

Changed the behavior of alpha and ColorTransform for GraphicElement to match the behavior of DisplayObject.
- ColorTransform.alphaMultiplier and alpha are equivalent and are kept in sync.
- ColorTransform.alphaOffset is still applied even if alpha is set.
Implementation details:
- mx.geom.Transform sets the colorTransformExplicitlySet flag whenever the colorTransform setter is called
- GraphicElement alpha setter clears the colorTransformExplicitlySet flag whenever it is called
- Setting GraphicElement.transform will update the alpha property with ColorTransform.alphaMultiplier if a colorTransform was explicitly set
- Setting the colorTransform on a mx.geom.Transform that is assigned to a GraphicElement, calls setColorTransform, which updates the alpha property with ColorTransform.alphaMultiplier.
- In commitProperties, the displayObject.alpha is updated only if there is no transform or if colorTransformExplicitlySet is false.

This bug figures out also when creating a custom spark ComboBox, then trying to programatically update the userProposedSelectedIndex property. The proposed selected index is selected, but does not apply the same skin as when mouse is on rollover or item is selected due to up and down keys.
The issue seems like updating the status of the item renderer to rollover or selected to get the same skin applied.
Please could you attach DropDow nList.as that you edited ?

Voice over bug ?

I have Voice Over and all Accessibility Tools disabled, but in some situations OSX speak to me while a message popup appears reporting the text of the alert the voice is reading !

Yesterday I received an email. The notification center alert me about this in the usual way, but another window popup, with the blu "message app" icon and a text that say I had an email... and "the voice" read it ! This do not happen with all events or email or so on... it is like a bug. Yesterday I rebooted the system to "reset" all stuff and I control if it happen again. This is very strange

Opacity and Free Transform bugs

I just got Photoshop CS5 and there are two things that bug me. The first is a problem with Free Transform that has dated back since Photoshop CS. When I first started out with Photoshop 7.0 and I have both a path and a selection on screen, I can choose to Free Transform the path if I have the Path Selection Tool selected, or Free Transform the selection's content if I have the Move or Marquee tools selected. But since Photoshop CS came out, it will ONLY Free Transform the path if it's on screen, regardless of which tool is selected. This is very annoying, because I usually use paths as a guide when I need to Free Transform something into place. [b]How do I Free Transform pixels if a path is on screen?[/b]
The second problem seems to be a bug with the Opacity shortcuts. If for example, I want to reduce the opacity of a layer to 50%, I'd press M, 5. But in Photoshop CS5, I have to press M, 5, 5. I have no idea why I need to press 5 twice, but it throws me off. What's causing this and how do I fix it?

With the selection on screen click on the Move tool. Then check the "Show transform tools"box at the top of the screen. After that transform away...

Strange transform bug

CS4 Extended 11.01 on Mac OSX 10.6.1 (although I have seen this issue in CS3 on Windows too)
This happens all the time on a file that is using a non-square pixel aspect ratio. I do quite a bit of work for NTSC television broadcast, so I often work at D1/DV NTSC 0.91 pixel aspect ratio.
Problem #1: Say I want to scale a layer to 51% of its original size. I press Command-T to invoke the free-transform tool, then type 51% in either the width or height boxes in the tool options bar. Finally I'll click the little chain link icon to scale width and height proportionally. Sometimes when I do this only the first dimension scales (ie: whatever box I typed "51%" in). Other times this has no effect at all. I've tried clicking the chain link icon before I enter the dimension, but I get the same problem.
Problem #2: This will also happen when problem #1 happens. Again when I start a free transform using Command-T (or from the edit menu), if I click on one of the registration points in the tool options bar, the contents of the layer will shift to the left and scale horozontally to about 90% of its original size. If I continue to click the various registration points, the layer will continue to scale and shift, even though I have not specified any transform parameters other than to set it s registration.
Arbitrary scaling by dragging the control points works fine.
If I switch to square pixel aspect ratio, the problem goes away. If I switch back to D1/DV 0.91, the problem returns.
Has anyone else seen this? Is there a workaround or resolution?

Voice Memos bug?

Voice Memos on my iPhone 5s, iOS 8.02, spontaneously stops recording twice at 25:44. Anyone else having this problem where voice Memos spontaneously stops recording? Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it stops after only a few minutes. Anyone care to suggest a solution or a good alternative app?

Voice memo bug?

Hi all,
Since I have switched to the iOS7, I have been having some issues with the voice memo feature of the phone. Occassionally, after I stop the recording, press done and name the file, I am unable to listen to the recording. Before I click stop, the app is working perfectly and I can see the time of my recording increase as time passes. However, once I name the file and it gets added to the list, the length goes to 00:00:00 and I am unable to hear anything.
Sometimes, if I turn off the phone and turn it on again, the file length changes back to the correct length. Other times, I am unable to access the file and I have no idea how to fix the problem.
Does anyone else have this issue?
Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

Ok you can also try closing the app by double tapping the home button and tap and hold on V.memos till it dances(lol) and then tap the little (-) that appears above it, hold the sleep/wake button and home button on you device for about 12-15 secs (when you see the apple release) then launch the app again. It may open as expected after this
If that yields nothing you can try backup/restore see ( http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4946 ) to see that iTunes does in fact include V.memos in backups then see ( http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2529 ) to find where your backup is located on the HD and transfer it to another ( friend or family members ) computer that can get the new iTunes and restore to your iPhone 5
I would make sure that you use caution when connecting your device (old one ) To any new computer. iTunes will prompt you before it removes anything but you cannot get click happy or you may lose data. Go to iTunes Preferences on the devices tab to disable automatic syncing if need be

Voice Notes Bug?

Everytime I would listen to my recorded voice notes and play it back or backtrack (using the progress bar), if i do it multiple times, a white screen would appear with really small writing (cant even make out what it says) then reboots my blackberry
is there a fix to that?

Bump.. I have that same issue. It's with a 9650 - I upgraded to OS 6,0 and it still happens. :/ I had a 8350 before and it didn't have this problem.

Did I find another "Voice Memos" bug?

After updating my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.0.1, I'm no longer able to attach a photo before sharing the VM via email/message. The camera icon appears like it used to; "Take Photo or Video"/"Choose Existing"/ selections are there but selecting either of them does not perform the indicated function. Additionally, the "Trim Voice Memo" feature seems to have stopped working. Along with the syncing issues, I'm wondering if iOS 5 just plain forgot about little 'ole Voice Memos. Has anyone else had these issues or am I a lonely traveler within the Appleverse? If I have fellow travelers, any help would be appreciated.

I can't replicate your problem on mine. After a reset it is exactly where I had set it. Not sure what the problem here could be. I would recommend a couple things:
Restore your phone and see if that still occurs.
If you restore and it still occurs, you might want to have an Apple person take a look at it at one of the stores, or via a phone call to AppleCare...
If we get a lot of posts on here that it is happening to a lot of people, then certainly a report to the link above is in order -- and just get in the habit of turning your volume back on after a reset.

Voice Memo Bug, closes after opening

When I open voice memos using Iphone version (6.0.1), the voice memo screen is frozen, an then shuts off after about 2 seconds, returning to the main screen. Also, I am noticing that when I sync to my Powerbook(using Itunes (10.5.8) using Itunes (10.6.3) it seems to Sync the same voicememos every time, as if it's not noticing them as being alreay synced. Any help with this is much appreciated. (I already upgraded to Iphone 5 and am about to buy a new powerbook, but I need to retrieve and make sure all my voice memos go with me, as they are integral to my work).

XSLT transformation Bug?

We are encountering a strage error and it is not always reproducible.
Problem:
content of one of the element has &; and in the initial transformation this is getting replaced by &
We are doing another transformation of this transformed xml file. This is where the transformation seems to not working correctly.
for some of the elements & is passed as is, on some of the elements , & is replaced with &#38 when ever this happens, the result will pickup all the elements after this element and treat them as text content for this element.

3d Z-space transform bug?

I'm noticing that if I have an object, let's say a white rectangle, and want to transform it in Z-space with the 3d transform tool sected, the little blue dot control in the middle of the rectangle has no effect. The red X-axis and green Y-axis controls work fine.
I can move the rectangle through Z-space via the HUD, but it's a little annoying not to have the blue dot control working.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Voice transformation/conversion/morphing

Good day all,
My final project is about voice conversion where there is a source voice and a target voice. The source voice contains the words that should be spoken using the target voice. I am a newbie in sound manipulation. I have read little about DSP spectrum analysis, windowing, dft, lpc... My current progress so far is opening a wav file as audioInputStream after that I am lost. I need help to clarify the process/stages that I should do to perform a voice conversion. Also, is there a free package that contains functions for voice conversion?

EDIT: Image updated to include bicubic sharper algorithm.

A workaround I've been using:
1) Before you paste your screenshot (that you will be distorting) take the background / working file and blow it up by 5x or 10x using Nearest Neighbor interpolation.
2) Paste your screenshot, distort/edit perspective, blowing it up as required.
3) Shrink your working file back down to the original size (use bicubic this time).
That should provide a repeatable process without too much distortion / image data loss for each subsequent image added to your working file. Ideally you would do the blow-up / shrink-down ONCE (but really never)...

Flex SDK Bug Fix - Add snapshot support for 3D transformed GraphicElements
SDK-17362 - GraphicElement.getBitmapData doesn't handle 3D transforms
Added in support to take a bitmap snapshot of a 3D transformed GraphicElement.
Added a flag to getBitmapData to return a bitmap of the target either in the local or global coordinate space.
Also, fixed a bug in the bitmap snapshot logic for a 2D GraphicElement that was sharing its displayObject.
Note that the 3D snapshot isn't accurate if you have set maintainProjectionCenter on an ancestor. There are also limitations when rotation is applied. In addition, getting a local 3D snapshot isn't too accurate once you start scaling ancestors.
