Hi there lisapetito,
You may find the troubleshooting steps in the article below helpful.

When we click on the voicemail icon within Jabber, we get "You are not signed in to your voicemail account. Go to the phone accounts tab..."
When I go to File>Options>phone accounts and and enter my AD credentials for username and password, it says the username or password is not correct.
Am I entering the correct info for the username and password? Everything is sync'd with LDAP.
Thank you. This may not be your case, but I had this same exact issue last week and it was because the Server Admin had changed the password to the account we used as the CN in our LDAP authentication. Once I updated the password in CUC, the problem was resolved. So, doesn't hurt to ensure the credentials are still good.

I have been having a problem for at least almost 2 months with setting a new visual voicemail greeting. Everytime I go to the greeting part it says retrieving and it has been stuck in that part for a month. The latest update I got didn't do anything. I have T-Mobile as a carrier and they told me this was an issue on your guy's? Some info or help would be gladly appreciated. Thanks
Use one of the methods in this kbase article to reset your visual voicemail:

Hi all
Currently running CUC 10.x. User voicemail box was working fine. However, configured Unified Messaging and I can leave a voicemail for several users which illuminates the MWI on the phone and appears in email format. Problem is that I get prompted with the "Hello" greeting when pressing the messages button on the phone instead of the user voicemail box.
Any takers?
Thanks
SimonIs this a new install? Has it ever worked?
If your issue is simply that when you press the message button you get the hello greeting it means CUC does not recognise the extension number that is calling in so routes the call to the default hello greeting.
If you use the RTMT tool and connect to CUC you can use port monitor to see what digits are being sent from CUCM. You may need to use a voicemail profile to manipulate the digits.
Out of interest why are you using full E164 for your extension number!? If you want to call someone across your office you have to dial the full E164!?
Hope that helps

whenever i try to open a voicemail (wav) file that i get through my work email as an attachment, the application loads and the voicemail name starts scrolling on the screen but the file never plays. It shows the length of the voicemail but when you press play nothing happens.
In addition, while the described symptoms do not match identically, this KB has some information that might be helpful:
KB15191 “Unknown error was encountered” when attempting to open or preview a voice mail message using Cisco Unity

Voicemail issue recently,,, anyone else experience this??
ok,,, so over the last week this is what i notice: when someone calls and leaves a VM, it takes up to 1 hr before the voicemail shows up on my phone!!!
i can see the missed call time,,, and then an hr later , the VM will show up..
i am wondering if this just an AT&T issue,,, but any help is appreciated!!chadds,
Visual Voicemail is downloaded via EDGE. How long it takes to download the message can vary upon a lot of factors. Some of those factors include - phone usage (in many areas EDGE is disabled while speaking on the phone), other EDGE usage (downloading, web based IM client that is continously refreshing), the length of the message (will affect file size), speed of your EDGe connection. Speed can vary depending on congestion as well as signal strength.
Hope this helps,

Voicemail issue with LG Envy 3
I have 2 identical phones on my account; one has lost the voicemail capability while the other works fine. Nobody can leave me messages anymore, and when i call VM from the phone, it says the number i have entered is incorrect. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be?

Thanks for posting. In order to resolve your issue can you please PM me the mobile telephone number so I can research your account? I can reset your VM configuration. Thanks. -
Voicemail issue since changing network (UK)
Hi,
I've recently changed networks from o2 to Three. I had my iPhone unlocked from o2 and started using my SIM 600 card that i purchased in a Three store.
Initially i had no issue until i was left a voicemail. I soon realised that Three don't offer the visual voicemail facility, however this isn't the issue. On checking my voicemail and deleting it; i've now found that i constantly have the red dot icon (blank) over the voicemail tab on my "phone" app.
I've checked my voicemails and have the reply fromt he voicemail stating "you have no new messages." There is no facility to check to see if there are saved messages so i can delete them, so i presume i have none. I receive the standard text message stating i have voicemail when i reboot the phone, even though i have no voicemail on checking! I've also found that when i check, my iPhone keeps checking for email and also for App updates when i have Email set to Manual (not pushed or fetched) and i certainly ain't hit the App Store!
I've spoken to Three who said that there isn't an issue with the voicemail settings as its working however the technical customer advisor asked me to wait whilst he checked to see if there was anything else he could do to help me. On coming back he said that the tech department are investigating a potential issue to identify whether its a fault on the iPhone side or if its a fault on the Three side. My iPhone was working perfectly well with o2 and on removing the Three sim, and replacing it with another sim it worked perfectly well so i assume its Three's issue which is what i told him.
I've tried a soft reset, i've tried a full restore - setting it up as a new phone or with a backup, still remains. I've tried calling and leaving a voicemail to see if i can flush the system, but nothing. My colleague at work is on Three with the same iPhone, same iOS update etc etc and she doesn't have the issue so I'm bemused.
I read somewhere it could have something to do with the micro sim being an old and outdated sim - could this be the case?
I'm looking for people's help as i'm heading to the Three store on Saturday to request a new micro sim so wanting some bullets to fire when i get there...
If anyone can help, i'd be sincerely grateful!
Cheers
PaulJust as an update before i close the topic off...
Went into the Three store today and explained the situation to the same guy who sorted the contract out for me. He said he'd never come across it before and couldn't understand why it was happening.
I chanced my arm a little and although it was more or less the whole truth i'd bent the truth a little about the customer services number who didn't have a clue anyway and said that i'd done a bit digging on the internet and mentioned about the micro sim being outdated or something similar. He then offered to try it to sort the issue out, gave me a new micro sim and transferred my details over...got home and swapped the micro sims over.
Voila, icon vanished and no issues thus far...on looking a little closer on the packaging that the micro sim comes with, the initial one i had was from Aug 2011, the newer one was from October 2011 so it may be possible that the post i'd found from googling the issue was correct.
If the issue arises again i'll add to the topic, however so far so good - so i hope that others who may have this issue see this and try the above!
Cheers -
Cisco Jabber for Windows Voicemail issue
At this I'm in processing of implementation Cisco Jabber UC solution for big Company.
I use CUCM 9.1.2, Cisco IM and Presence 9.1.2, CUC 9.1.2, Cisco Jabber for Windows 9.6.1.
I have issue in Cisco Jabber with VoiceMail Integration - when I leave voice message for any user,
than this message is arrived only him Cisco IP Phone, but not in him Cisco Jabber.
From Cisco Jabber Connectivity status in help menu I see that VoiceMail service is successfully connected
and I see VoiceMail button in Cisco Jabber.
How can I resolve this issue?Have you configured the UC Service profile on CUCM with both Voicemail server and mailbox servers?

Jabber 9.2 Voicemail issues
Dear Team
I am facing a stange problem with my jabber for windows clients, voicemail connection status always showing not connected. but all other services are working fine, including "call voicemail" button. i am also able to view and play voicemail thru http://unconnectionserver/inbox by using the same credentials
I have checked firewalls ( put the jabber client to the same server vlan and tested) no issues found
I am following the server setupguide from cisco website
could somebody can explain where i will check the logs for not connecting voicemail ?
Thanks in advance
RajeshHi Rajesh,
We had the same problem. Read the document over and over again but did not see the problem. Until I check the server in my Iphone jabber clients. This was the Exchange server.
Hmmmm......
I checked the mailstore profile and changed it to the Unity server.
Now everything is working fine.
Cm -> user management ->user settings -> UC Service
create mailstore to Unity server Unitmailstore1 (If you have multiple server create more)
Cm-> user management -> user settings ->
In you servervice profile select the mailstore profile.
http://unityserver.yourdomain/inbox shows a login page to view you voicemailbox on the unity server. -
System was working without issues but now voicemail doesn't seem to be working. Users call each other and their phones now just ring and never go to voicemail. Was out on holiday when the issue started so my suspicion is that changes were made but I'm not seeing anything indicative of change... Any initial thoughts of places to start looking?
Mailboxes are enabled with a nice chunk of minutes. Voicemail enabled for all users. Etc.
Much thanks for any ideas!Config as follows:

Solution For Anyone Having Voicemail Issues
Not long after activating my iPhone 5 with Verizon, my visual voicemail stopped working. In addition, I was not even receiveing notifications when I had voicemail. The only way for me to check and/or listen to voicemail was to do it the old fashioned way by dialing *86.
Verizon technical support had me check and recheck every setting on the phone but noting fixed the issue. I was told that one of the possible causes could be a specific app. "Onavo Extend". It's an app that is supposed to "stretch" your data plan and also lets you track how much data each specifc app uses.
After deleting the app, I was still unable to access visual voicemail. After a little more playing around, I found that deleting the app does not remove the profile that it installed on the phone. You need to manually remove the profile (Under Settings / General / Profiles). After removing the profile I reset the phone (Hold the power and home button at the same time until the phone shuts off) and everything worked fine.....my visual voicemail was back.
You may need to remove the profile more than once. For some reason after removing the profile the first time and restarting the phone, he profile reappeared.
Hope this helps!First time I read about this - I've been having the VVM issues since upgrading to iPhone 5. I like Onavo to help limit my data, so for now I'm downloaded the YouMail app )which may even be working better than native vvm?).

Apologies in advance if this question has been answered previously, but I am going crazy! Since last Monday I am having two issues: 1) I cannot send or receive any text messages and 2) Anyone who tries to call me cannot reach voicemail and instead a message of "Call Failure" appears on my screen. Any ideas please?

First make sure that your signal display is showing bars, and that E is displayed in the blue box?
I take it that the phone rings when someone calls you, but that if you don;t answer it, it doesn't go to voicemail? If so, it may be a SIM card problem. Have you tried taking the card out and back in again? There's a small hole on top of the phone, next to the earphone recess. Use a paperclip and push firmly; the tray cill come out.
Let me know if this helps at all. Good luck. -
Voicemail Issues after phone number change
I recently changed my phone number. I programmed the phone per the directions provided and I had to manually go in and update the speed dial for #1 so it would dial my new number. The issue is, if I receive a voicemail, I get the "Listen" link on the screen. If I click that link, it still dials my old number. I have looked through the owner's manual and through the online info on the site but have not found any way to fix this issue.
Can anyone help me figure this out??!?!!?
