Voicemail Timestap on iPhone 4s

When I check my voicemail, the timestamp for when the voicemail was left is incorrect. My iPhone is programmed to set the time and date automatically. I am on the west coast, but the timestamp for the voicemails seems to be for the east coast. Does anyone know how to change this? Thanks for you help!

Never had this problem but have you tried the usual troubleshooting steps? Restart, Reset, Restore? Are the vm's being left by someone calling from the east coast? Not sure if that should matter but it may have something to do with it. Also, have you done *228 option 2 (and perhaps 1) to see if that does anything?

  • How do you delete voicemail messages from iphone 5s

I'm trying to delete voicemail messages from iphone 5s.  Based on visiting previous discussions on this subject, I've tried "resetting network settings" and "turning airport mode ON, deleting messages, then turning airport mode OFF" -- to no avail. I'm receiving an alert that I've reached capacity...please assist. I run my business on my iPhone and right now I'm missing opportunities.
Thanks in advance for your expediency.

How can I set up a default (pre-recorded) voicemail greeting on iphone 4s?i dont want a custom one with my voice i want the pre-recorded where a lady says my number . how do i get that?

Voicemail is a cell phone carrier function.  Contact your carrier to see if they have this option.  If not, i'm sure you can download a sound file from the internet with a greeting and add your name.  Then play it back on you PC while holding your iPhone near the speaker when recording the greeting to voicemail.

  • HT2458 Has anyone else who uses AT&T as their carrier been told if you cannot access your voicemail through your iPhone that there is no way to check your voicemails? This is an issue since I had to send my phone in for repair. Thank you

You received incorrect information from AT&T.  You can indeed access your voicemail without your iPhone.
Call AT&T at (800) 331-0500 (assuming you're in the U.S.).  This is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week number.  Ask them how to access your voicemail.  Normally, you would just do this by dialing your number from another phone, typing "*" once your voicemail recording starts, and entering your password.  You don't know your password, so it's probably the last four digits of your phone number or perhaps the seven - or ten-digit phone number.  Let the AT&T person tell you.

I know this is supposedly not possible, but I need to retrieve a specific voicemail from my iPhone which was also "cleared" from the Deleted Messages box. Any suggestions?
This is highly important. I know the number from which the voicemail arrived, but have not been able to figure out how to retrieve it. I accidentally had the voicemail in the Deleted Messages folder, and then Cleared this folder. If there is any possible way I might be able to retrieve this message, even if there is a cost associated with it, please help me.
    Thank you.

I think you maybe able to restore from backup if that voicemail was included in the backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766

  • Having trouble calling my work voicemail from the iphone - it doesnt recognize the dtmf tones

i am having trouble calling my work voicemail frome the iphone - it does not recognize the DTMF tones from the dialpad.  we have justgone to a new IP voice system at work

we use a remote dialling code to divert our office landlines to mobiles, we have had awful trouble with the iphones in doing this with the number stored as a contact, We also have trouble dialling the number direct from the keypad it still comes up with error and says the number has not been recognised.
I have managed to sort out how to remedy this for us on this end and i will give an example below, the 'p' represents a pause
    (numbers changed for security)
original phonebook contact stored, please notice the pauses 'p' only the first single pause
    01223495684p*65*4530*01223456456*07555456456#
the new number now stored in the phonebook with the extra pauses 'p'
01223495684pp*65p*4530p*01223456456p*07555456456#  as you can see we dial a landline number and then give a pause for the next tone to cut in, then we enter the overall divert code, after this we enter the pin code followed by the landline number to divert and finally the mobile number that will be taking the calls and finishing off with hash.
all our other phones except the iphone will dial this number and work correctly with one pause at the beginning, I have now tried thios with two pauses at the beginning and one pause between each section and it now works fine,
This has cured our problem using the io5 iphones 4s. we could not dial these numbers with the iphones for nothing, all other phones work fine. When you have a bluetooth headset connected the problem is even worse.
this has cured our problem and hope this helps you all also

  • How can I use voicemail on my iphone 4s? Here it says "Cannot connect to voicemail". What should I do? I'm from philippines. Is there any code or something that I should do first?

How can I use voicemail on my iphone 4s? Here it says "Cannot connect to voicemail". What should I do? I'm from philippines. Is there any code or something that I should do first?

I think I worked out a solution given my equipment.  I was looking around on other forums and I found the following post concerning the ability for iPhone 4S to be on 3G and wifi simultaneously.
"I know this thread is old and op may have discovered the answer already. However, I am posting this just in case someone else might be looking for a solution.
The solution does not require any additional software nor require a jailbreak.
All you need to accomplish this is already built into every iPhone and iPad with 3G.
Connect to your wifi and write down the IP address your router assigned you. Then, select static tab instead of DHCP and fill in the IP address your DHCP server assigned to your iPad. Next, fill in the subnet mask but leave the rest of the fields empty.
You now have access to your wifi as well as 3G.
I ran into this issue when I wanted to use live traffic using 3G for my iPad's GPS and still connect to my GoFlex Satellite using wifi. It works extremely well."
AFter configuring my phone to the router, as mentioned above, I connected my Apple TV to the same router.  Using the mirroring option I was able to airplay Netflix, You Tube and Flixster flawlessly from my phone to the big screen.  Direct TV and HBO GO did not work however.
I Then tried to access items directly from Apple TV thinking that it could use the data from my phone.  I was wrong.  So all in all I'm able to stream about half of my movie entertainment applications given my situation.  I'm pleased.

Voicemails are stored on by your wireless provider, and should be accessible regardless of what phone you use.
there are also third party apps that can download them for you to your computer.

Have you contacted your carrier? Voicemail is a carrier feature. If you're talking about Visual Voicemail, not all carriers support such.

  • Hello, I am curious if there is any way to recover a deleted voicemail from my iPhone 4 after I have deleted it from my deleted messages.

Hello, I am curious if there is any way to recover a deleted voicemail from my iPhone 4 after I have deleted it from my deleted messages.

No but you can go to the deleted messages just after you delete them and undelete. Once the carrier deletes it from the system you cannot get it back.
