Volcano 7+ trurn off my computer!
Hello. I bought Volcano 7+... but when I'm trying to O/C my CPU my computer is turning off. I mean... when I chose for example 1.4Ghz@2Ghz and Vcore 1.8V, when Windows is loading... computer turns off. :-( (no power) I have got high temperatures... about 38.C idle (AMD Durona Apllebred 1.4Ghz no O/C). On my old cooler everything is ok!

2x CD-ROM
38 C is not hot now 78 C that be hot turn off and fix.

The amps for power supply should be on the sticker on the side of the power supply itself. List amps for 3.3 volt 5 volt and 12 volt.
I have the same heatsink fan set up and do not have any problems. Check that it is installed right. Go to the manufactor web site for info on which fan plug to use for temp and rpm reading. Believe its the yellow one but check to be sure.
The fan has a speed control switch which gives you three speeds the highest setting is very loud. I run in middle speed works great and if what to push it can speed it up.

It is basically a signal that most power drives take in as an active low input so that when the powergoes out of the computer, the line goes low and immediately kills the axis so that no servo ouptut command affects the motor.

There's a black and white striped glitch on the left side of my screen on my Macbook Air! Its happened before and has been an easy fix, usually just restart or turn off my computer but don't know what else to do. Is there anything I can try now? I wont be able to make it to the Apple store until tomorow and would prefer if there was something I could do that didnt cost money, my computers very new and I really need help.

Can get the AirPlay to work off my computer, but not my iPhone or iPad. I have the latest software. Airplay logo never appears on iPhone or iPad.

I recently deleted iTunes off my computer by accident, when I reinstalled it I got the new version and I can't figure out how to get my music to store on my iTunes to transfer from my iPhone to my iTunes. I goal is to get my iPod filled with the music that I have stored on my iPhone and figured the only way to do so is to use iTunes as my transfer hub. Any suggestions?

If I have no music on my iTunes at all and no music on my computer, hard drive or any other version of storage yet there is a playlist on my iPhone. While my iPhone is plugged into my PC and my iTunes is up, is there a way to swap my playlist from my iPhone to my iTunes? Directly? Without downloading some new media source or backing up my old media source from my history. The reason everything was deleted (iTunes and media source) was due to the size of everything and space it was requiring. I am simply trying to get 233 songs from A to B.
I have tried magic but it is not working.

Here are a few more details. I put in a game cd for a windows computer, once I opened the folder on the desktop I noticed the install application was .exe so I tried to eject the cd but no matter what I tried on the computer it wouldn't come out. I will say though that I didn't try the manual cd eject cause I didn't have anything small to hit the button in the cd drive with. It was getting late so we decided to just turn off the computer and leave it for the next day. I can't remember if we turned the computer off with apple shut down or by holding down the power button but we walked away pretty quickly before it was fully shut down. The next day the computer won't turn on. When I walked into the room I was the computer stuck with a grey background with the apple logo showing and the circular thing under it frozen. Since no one was in the room I held down the power button and turned the computer off. We tried to start the computer again later but again it keeps getting stuck at the same spot. Now when we hold the power button down to turn it off I'm not sure if it's really turning off all the way. The screen goes dark but it sounds like the fan is still going. I tried disconnecting everything but the keyboard and mouse but when I started it up again it got stuck on the grey screen with just the apple logo. I'd really apprechiate help on this cause I live in Germany right now and support call centers work so much worse when you don't speak the language well... Thanks for any help you can give!
Restart your computer while holding down left mouse key. That will eject the CD and your Mac will start as normal.

Go into ''Tools > Options > General > Startup:When Firefox starts:'' and configure it as you want (probably to show your home page?). How can I get my Apple TV airplay to work from my PC. On the airplay symbol it says Multiple Peakers please choose but I cannot switch off my computer speakers and switch on my Apple TV speakers so cannot get airplay to work from my PC. Everything is OK when using my Ipod touch.
Don't use Multiple Speakers option and just choose the AppleTV
What are you trying to Airplay? If it's iTunes content it's simpler to 'pull' the stream from the Computers icson on AppleTV by selecting the libarry and media.
If you are attempting to Airplay the desktop you can't. -

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer/files/docs/pics/music/etc, for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases
Once the music is in itunes on your computer, then you can sync to your iphone. -
Does anyone know how I can move my very large iTunes music library folder off the computer and onto my fourth generation time capsule, which I'd like to use as an external hard drive?

Do you also plan to use the Time Capsule disk for Time Machine backups? If so, that approach has problems. For one, you don't be backing up your music library. For another, eventually Time Machine will consume all the space on that disk, which will cause problems for your music. -
i am running osx 10.5.8 and just wiped everything off this computer to free up space (including iTunes). I am trying to re-install itunes now and it won't because I need to be running osx 10.6.8. How do I update?

Lost my bookmarks when my work computer was re-imaged due to a virus. In my profiles directory I don't see anything older than the date my system was re-imaged (4/1/11) so I don't think I can restore them from anything on my computer. I'm hoping that Firefox may have them backed up somewhere off my computer so I can restore them from there. Does anyone know if this can be done? Thanks!
Firefox makes bookmark backups to C:\Documents and Settings\{Username}\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\(random name).default\bookmarkbackups in JSON format. If it's in there, you can restore it: [[Backing up and restoring bookmarks]]
It's a good idea to backup manually occasionally though for just such an event as this. You can export them to a single HTML file which you can keep on a USB stick and then re-import them if the need arises. -

Yes, if you have a pre-Lion backup, but you need an installation disc.

I don't know how much RAM you have. It must be at least 2 GB, or Lion wouldn't have installed. If that's all you have, you might get better performance by adding more. But from your description, I doubt that your problem is due entirely, if at all, to a lack of RAM. If you want to troubleshoot the problem, it will take some patience and effort, and you'll need to be in a calm frame of mind. -
I'm running out of hd space on my MBP with Mavericks OS. How do I move my Photoshop 5 app off the computer for more space, and store the PS5 app on DVD or on my backup hd for a future reinstall on my next Mac with larger hd?

perhaps it would be less expensive to just install a new disk with a larger capacity on your current MacBook Pro, rather than plan on buying a new Mac with a larger disk? Once your current disk has been cloned to the new disk, and the new disk has been installed into your MacBook Pro, that would allow you to keep Photoshop 5 on your current MacBook Pro.
