Volume level gets stuck at 100%, iPhone 3g

iPhone 3g, running the latest 2.0.1.
I just got the phone yesterday but twice now the volume has gotten stuck at 100%. The volume display reads full blocks and you can't change it with the volume controls or vibrate switch. Even if you go into the iPod section, and try to drag the volume slider down, it just slowly creeps back up to full. The only way to 'fix' this is a reboot.
Has anyone else had this? Are there are any fixes?

Do you have a protective case on the iPhone? Try testing without it.

If the issue persists after restoring the iPhone may need hardware repair. Make a reservation to have a Mac Genius take a look at it or call AppleCare.

Restore as new, if that fixes the problem it is something in your settings or backup that was causing the issue.
If it does not fix the problem, you have a hardware issue.

I bought a monthly subscription to After effects -I had the trial version- and I started downloading it. Everything is fine, just that the download does not finish and gets stuck at 100%. While I try to open the program in Finder, it opens a window saying the trial version has expired and that I have to buy the licence.

Yes, I have. I first logged in onto Creative cloud and then clicked the install button right next to the After effects icon. It started fine, then at 90%the download speed became lower and lower. I have already tried to cancel the download and reset Creative cloud (and the download of course) but it is the same outcome.
FYI : I have already been sent the email from Creative cloud saying they received the payment

One of my MSI GTX 780-fans gets stuck on 100% every now and then :(

Every now and then (randomly and not very often) one of the fans on my MSI GTX 780 gets stuck on 100% after windows 7 (64 bit) have loaded.
It is impossible to get it to slow down by using any software or by restarting the computer (or even by turning it off).
The Only way to get it back to normal functioning is to open the computer and stop the fan with my hands for a while. After that it works like it should, until next time this bug happens.
Has anyone experienced anything like it? Can it be solved or is the card broken?

1: the serial number of your MSI GTX 780 (leave off the last 3 digits)
2: a copy of your cards current VBIOS (download this http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/ and run it and it will bring up GPU-Z and then click on the little icon at the end of BIOS Version and choose save to file (should be a under 1MB file) then upload it to somewhere like dropbox.com and give us a link to it there)

IPhone 5 battery getting stuck at 100%

I recently got an iPhone 5 16GB as a gift, and I love it. I have only charged it 5 times and the lowest I've let the battery get so far is 14%. However the one problem i've been having is that two of the five total times i've charged it, the battery percentage will be stuck at 100% for about 2-3 hours even after moderate to heavy use before it starts to show that it's going down. The only conclusion I have for this is that the lowest I've let the battery get is 14% and not completely drained yet. Would charging the phone to 100% then letting it get so low that it turns itself off fix this issue?

Depending upon what you consider to be "moderate to heavy use" what you are seeing might be normal. I charge my iPhone 5 every night, many mornings, it goes 1-1.5 hours before it drops form 100%. I don't use my iPhone all the time, but I do tend to use it to look at emails in teh morning beofer I get to the office. In the 1.5 hours after I unplug it, it may have 10-15 minutes of "screen on time" before the battery meter shows it dropping from 100%. I suspect that there is nothing wrong with your iPhone or battery, it is just that you might not be sued to the battery efficiency the iPhone 5 has in comparison to older iPhone models.

I have an iphone 3gs and when i first updated to the ios 5 it didnt work, when i did it again, it shut down my phone and told me i had to restore. However, when i try to restore it gets stuck in "restoring iphone firmware" Help!!!!

Ali i had this problem today and it took me 7 hours to get it back on . i ended up downloading firmware from a third party site , it was a nightmare . i would recommend just taking ur fone into apple

My volume level gets higher really quickly

Help! I have had an intermittent fault on my ipod for a while, but after it happening 3 times in one train journey I sent it back and received the bog-standard reply letter.
I think this is a hardware fault, not a software fault.
I will have the Ipod enclosed in a case, and the volume level turns itself up - to deafening, I cannot open the case, unlock it and turn it down quickly, the only way not to deafen me and the other passengers in the train is to unplug my headphones. Sometimes it sounds like I get the similar sound to when your mobile is too near to another electrical object before it turns itself up, but again not everytime. It also doesn't do it in the same songs either.
I have been on hold for 15 minutes waiting for someone to get back to me when I queried if the Ipod would not do this any more.

Is there a cell phone near the iPod when this happens?

Flash player loading files very slow and getting stuck after 100%

I have developed various E-Learning courses which was published some in Flash Player 9 and some with version 10. Since Flash Player 10.1 was introduced all my developed courses was running fine. But it's found that user who are using Flash Player 10.1.85.3 is facing issue with file loading and playing the courses. Some time Flash player fails to load the chapters and files after preloading 100%, and sometime it's very slow in loading performance. I like to intimate that all these was not happening with Flash player version 10. Please give me any idea where I am going wrong. Is this kind of issue possible? If anyone faced the same experience. Please give me your valuable feedback.

Just downloaded ios 7.0.4 for my iphone4 and backed up before doing so. Now that it's been updated and restored I keep being asked to setup my iphone. When I select restore from itunes I keep getting stuck on setup iPhone. Cant get back in phone!

I backed up the phone and updated to ios 7.0.4 which took about 2 hours. Now the phone powers on and says hello in different lagnuages and says to slide to setup. I am asked to choose a network and then if I want to setup as a new iphone, restore from icloud or restore from itunes backup. When I select restore from itunes the screen says "connected to itunes". In itunes I select restore from backup however after a few seconds itunes says that it cannot restore beause there is not enough free space on the iphone. During this attempt to restore I see the home screen and my screen saver and everything for a split second, then the phone powers off.
I see in itunes that all of my photos and data are still on the phone however I cannot get into the iphone.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.

Battery level indication stuck at 100%

I purchased this z2 just this december and its acting weird for a month now.. It took me awhile figuring out why the unit just shuts down even if the battery percentage was considerably high. The true percentage level only shows up after i press the little thingy on the side for reset.. Please help..

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Volume repair gets stuck

My G5 powerPC has been running very slow for a while, so I'm trying to run the tech tools program that came with the system. This tells me I have problems in the Volume which can be repaired. When I run the repair program, it locks up about midway thru,the cursor still works but there is no signs of progress on the progress bar or any sounds of anything running inside the computer.
Is there something else I can do to repair this problem or do I need to trek this baby in to the Apple store? This is my business computer, so I am reluctant to be without it for long.

You might try running Disk Utility:
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk.
Please post back with results. You might also make sure that TechToolDeluxe, which came with you iMac, is the latest version, updates were released and you should check with Apple.

Volume level control gets stuck...

I keep getting this quirky thing where my volume level gets stuck. I press the volume buttons and the level indicator changes, and the sound can mute, but the volume doesn't actually change. It seems to stick at around 25%.
My workaround is to open the Sound options in the *System Preferences* and switch from *Internal Speakers* back to *Line Out*. This is on a Mac Pro, by the way.
The problem seems to occur when waking from sleep state, but it doesn't happen every time. I almost feel like it has something to do with the duration of sleep, but I'm really not certain. It's quite a small problem, but I'd still like to see if anybody else has been experienced it.

I got a new iMac, the one that was released by apple in late November, and I went to system preferences > keyboard, noticing that the keyboard battery level is stuck at 100% every time I check now and then... Anyone else having this issue? Fixes? Help?

PCM stuck at 100% when using any audio program for the first time

I've had this issue for some months now after an update and couldn't find any solution anywhere so help would be appreciated.
First time I run an audio program after boot PCM gets stuck at 100% and can't be decreased. Also, i3status's PCM info switches from 77% to 850%. No idea if the previous is useful. The problem disappears once that program is closed and PCM is changeable again. I'm using alsa and the chip is Conexant CX20551 (Waikiki), the issue persists even if I add the user to the audio group.

I replaced the symlink with a folder named "Pictures" and it actually worked. At least a new menu shows up. BTW Photoshop Elements does not complain.

PSCONFIG stuck at 100% on SP2013 farm

We recently installed September 2014 CU on SP2013 farm. But the PSCONFIG getting stuck at 100% at task 3 "Upgrading SharePoint Products". We see that all content DBs are reflecting the Sep 2014 CU versions. We dont see any errors onupgrade logs,
ULS and event viewer logs. We also tried all troubleshooting steps available on internet but nothing helped. Please advise.
