Volume limit not going higher than about 75% ?

Hi, I just bought an iPod Classic 160GB after my trusty 30GB Video died, and I was denied service.
I seem to be having a little problem with it. When I try and put the volume limit all the way up, it sounds louder then it was, but when I want to accept this setting, the limit jumps back to about 75%, even though the selection arrow is all the way at the right?
I could really use this, since when I'm listening to certain podcasts, I have trouble hearing them when I'm on the train or bike.
Is this a bug?
I currently find myself turning up the volume limit without accepting, and waiting for the currently playing track, which is a very clumsy way of doing it.

Don't even think about it. As b-rock states, you cannot over-ride it and you cannot install "American firmware" onto your ipod. Apple have taken steps to prevent anyone over-riding the volume cap.
However, what you can do is buy yourself an external headphone amplifier. There are several different options, such as the famous CMoy amp (usually mounted in an Altoids tin and also known as the Altoids amplifier), or simply search online for headphone amplifier.
Personally, I own both an Altoids amp and a FiiO E11 amplifier. The Altoids amp runs on a 9volt battery, and can be purchased ready-made or as a kit to build yourself if you have the skills. The FiiO has a rechargeable phone battery in it, which is replaceable.
It would be irresponsible of me if I did not caution you to take care when you using one of these amplifiers, not to have it too loud for too long, which could seriously damage your hearing. (Hence the reason for the EU directive.)
I found that the benefit of one of these amps is to be able to hear the detail in the music, and not simply to have it loud. Because of that, I prefer the FiiO.
I do not receive any reward or compensation for my recommendation of either of these products. There are alternative brands available.

Volume limit keeps going to half

My volume limit keeps going to half, even though I jack it all the way up. I have a Belken Tunebase that I put it in and turn my FM radio all the way up and it is somewhat loud but surely not enough for jamming to rock. What is happening here? I have version 1.2 and iTunes 7

this is a new feature with the 1.2 updater thingy. on your ipod (if you're one of the lucky ones whose ipod still works after installing 1.2), go to "settings" then "volumne limit" and change the setting. you'll need to enter a code.

Cpu voltage not going higher

Hey everybody. I have a problem in bios. I can bump my cpu voltage to 1.42V and i could do more with original bios. Any ideas?

The regular CPUV should be adjustable up to 1.986, the cpu-nb is for the memory controler / hyper transport, try the beta bios and let us know if that helps.

Current credit limit higher than maximum permitted

I am looking at a customer in transaction FD32. It appears that the customers' current credit limit assigned is higher than their maximum permitted credit limit.
i.e. current credit limit = $22,000
maximum permitted = $20,000
This has occurred for several customers. How is this possible? Can the current credit limit be decreased back down to $20,000?

Kindly note that the field KNKA - KLIMG , refers to the credit limit for all the credit control area for that customer , and the KNKK-KLIMK Upper limit for the recievables in that particular credit control area ,hence for the example mentioned the sum of the credit limit for individual credit control area does not exceed the total limit .

The hard drive has been upgraded, it has a new logicboard (with 128mb RAM), new housing, battery, hold / headphone jack. Basically the only original parts are the bezel, click wheel, screen, and data ribbons. Have attempted the 3Rs and have also tried to isolate potentially corrupt audio files and remove them, but this did not seem to be the primary cause. The sync failure consistently happens at just under a 1000 songs (5.4gb) and then it starts to error (-69) any song after that. Your advise would be enthusiastically received.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

Why can't I post more than about 45pic. on Facebook

When I am in Aperture and I want to post pictures on Facebook I can not post more than about 45 at the time in one album. Is that a limit impose by Facebook, or is it the size of my files? Most of my pictures are in Raw, Do i need to convert them to Jepg first? If someone could give me some insight?

Volume limit broke

First off I have a GSM iPhone 4 on iOS 6.0.1. I was listening to music through my headphones and decided to set a volume limit, which I did. Around half way. Then once I got home, took the headphones out to play the music through the speaker and noticed that it was a lot quieter than usual. So I went to the volume limit setting realising it was probably something to do with this. But it said it was off, so I clicked on it to see and sure enough it was all the way up. I then tried adjusting it while playing music which was having no effect on it, even once turning it all the way down. So I then put my headphones back in and tested it with them in. The volume limit worked as it should, I had it on max and when I dragged it lower it went quieter and then when I dragged it back up it stayed the same but when I went into the music app and increased the volume again and it worked as it should. So I backed up my iphone then reset all the settings. Made no difference, so I restored the backup to get all my settings back and then backed it up again with my computer and iCloud. I then restored the iPhone to a fresh iOS put an album on there, the problem was still there. I then restored the backup from my computer, still there. Restored to fresh iOS again and restored from the iCloud backup, still there. I'm guessing whats happened is the volume limit is stuck on half way from when I set it while listening to the headphones and now is stuck like that when I try listening through the speaker. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try?

I had this exact same problem, volume limit not changing, crashing of iPod app, etc., basically everything stated in this topic. I have found a fix. Hopefully it will work for you as well.
1. On your iPhone go to settings.
2. On the settings window, choose "General"
3. On the General Settings window, scroll all the way down and choose "Reset".
4. On the Reset window, choose "Reset All Settings" (the topmost choice)
After rebooting, the volume limit started working again.
NOTE: resetting your iPhone in this manner will erase any wireless networks on the iPhone, so you'll have to add those back again. Also, all the sound settings, mail settings, calendar settings, display settings, and application placement settings will also be reset. The good news *is that nothing* is erased so you'll still have your calendar accounts, email accounts, pictures and so forth.

Commitment limit must be higher that credit limit

I´ve been trying to load a Business Partenrs DTW template, but at the end some BP don´t upadate succesfully because the next message appears. "Commitment limit must be higher than credit limit".
This message appears too when you put a value in the credit limit field in the BO mster data and you put a value o zero in the Commitment limit.
Checking my BP configuration, I have in this moment customers who have credit limit values higher than the values to update, however in the template I didn´t find anty field related to OCRD.DebtLine that is the Commitement Limit field in order to update this field too.
Actually the data base haven´t any kind of transactions.
I will appreciate a lot you help.

Did you try to set the correct value in the DTW column "MaxCommitment"?
This is the DI API/DTW property that sets or returns the maximum allowed debt for payments from the business partner.
A good help for the DTW in general is the SDK Help Center delivered with the SDK Package in each patch or on the SDN Forum under the relevant Version. Example:

You can search for the field you need to update (example: DebtLine) and find the relevant DI API Property (example: MaxCommitment) which tells you the correct column header.

Netflix won't stream higher than 1750 kbps in Safari

After the Yosemite 10.10.3 update, Netflix in Safari will not stream higher than 1750 kbps (which is only 720x480 and barely DVD quality). Previous to the 10.10.3 update, Netflix would stream (HTML5) up to 5800 kbps. As at test, I have streamed the same Netflix video ("Example Short 23.976") multiple times of the day: the attached picture shows that Safari (left) is maxed at 1750 while the Chrome (right) stream is maxed at 3000 kbps. I was unable to find anything mentioned on the Netflix site regarding this problem. The timing of the problem strongly suggests that something changed in Yosemite 10.3.3/Safari 8 which is limiting the stream bitrate.

It's not an Apple/Netfix issue.Iit's an issue between Netfix and your broadnand provider.

CPU ratio does not go higher & mem Question

Is CPU ratio the same as the mulitplier? IF so why soes mine not go higher than 10, despite reading here that people are setting theirs at 11 and 12 using the same board as mine. I'm not even sure what this does?
Right now I'm in the process of trying to overclock my machine, but getting nowhere near what some are getting here.
Mind you, I think it has a lot to do with my ram since I can not get it to post when my ram sticks are in slot 1 and 2. It only works in slot 1 and 3 with either 2 sticks of samsung or 2 sticks of infineon ram (2 sticks of 512, PC3200). Also it will not boot unless using 2T. 1T only works with one stick in slot 1.
No clue if it is the memory, although I tried 2 different types of the motherboard.
And there are so many different types of memory, I have no idea what it is I really should be getting?

Cpu Ratio/Multiplier see Extremeoverclocking Part 1: The available CPU's Each CPU in link shows the top multiplier that can be applied in the Multiplier you can run on lower values but not higher.
Read up some of the oc in this forum & check out the memory their using as a starting point.

You can neither merge or delete them. Pick one and stop using the other. If they both have purchases associated with them you will have to keep using both.

Your OS can not run iTunes higher than the version that you have now, thus no 10.6.3.

Within the past two months our WSUS Server started throwing error 13002, "Client computers are installing updates with a higher than 25 percent failure rate. This is not normal." We currently have 252 computers with errors in WSUS,
and 33 updates with errors. We have never had issues up until two months ago. If you keep rebooting the machine, and keep running updates, they eventually all install. I believe I will see the machines with errors go away as the weekly scheduled
WSUS install runs over and over, and the machines reboot.
- We run IE8 in our environment and sometimes IE9.
- We have 300 clients, all running Windows 7 SP1 x64.
- Our WSUS server is running on Server 2008 R2. The WSUS build number is 3.2.7600.262.
- We created an alternate WSUS 4.0 server on Server 2012, and redownloaded all updates. We put one client on it and it is showing errors on 3 updates, KB890830, KB931125, and KB2917500.
- Clients are throwing errors 800F0902, 80242016, and 80070005.
- I've noticed something with the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder on the clients. When an update runs and fails, there is a "Install" folder created inside this folder. If you try to open it after the failure you get
"Access Denied" If you reboot the machine, the install folder goes away. (I assume this is a temp folder created to run updates). I've checked the permissions on this folder on various machines and all seems normal. I think
this is the root of the problem, and why we need to keep rebooting to get all of the updates to run.
- I tried deleting the Software Distribution folder on a client after stopping the update service, then restarting the update service. The folder redownloads but the client still throws errors.
- I've gone through our Group Policies looking for anything that can cause this and found nothing. We've created a test OU blocking inheritance, and only applying a WSUS policy in it to make it get the updates internally. I then rebuilt multiple
machines using Dell KACE, and still had failures.
- We run SEP 11 and 12 on our clients. I've tried removing the AV, making sure the firewall was off, etc. It still throws errors.
- I've spoken with our network team, and installed wireshark on a few clients looking for network errors and found nothing.
- I've tried various Dell KACE scripted installs on test machines (erasing and rebuilding the machines from scratch), after which I run Windows Updates from WSUS. They have thrown errors.
- I've rebuilt a machine using Dell KACE, undomained it, then ran updates externally from WSUS going to Microsoft's site, and I'm still getting errors.
- I've tried removing all software from the Dell KACE build to where it is just installing the OS and I'm still getting errors.
- I tried taking a plain Windows 7 x64 DVD and installing that on a test machine, then without domaining it and without installing any other software, running updates from Microsofts update site. This seems to work, althrough it does throw some errors
but I believe those are related to having to reboot your machine in order to complete the updates (I can't remember that error code at the moment).
Has anyone else been experiencing this? Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

To me, in all such updates, goes without saying maybe: backup, repair permissions, repair your drive (Disk Warrior does more reliable and thorough job, and it comes out to pennies if you don't wait until needed). Clone your system so you can restore or use the backup - just in case.
I'd even do a fresh format after your clone is done and do a full OS clean install and update, and then a quick import from Setup Assistant.

I'm going to assume there is something with the partitions on the drive, partition table most likely, though I know I've seen others with that error message - doesn't really point to cause, rarely does (make sure latest firmware update etc is sometimes included but again, we know that isn't why).

Songs you rip from CD can have their bitrate increased to a maximum of 320Kbps from the iTunes preferences; alternatively, the default encoder can be changed to a lossless one. Songs from other sources have a fixed maximum bitrate.
