Volume Shadows of the NTFS partition are created after a certain period

Dear Support,
Shadows are configured to create on Mon to Fri every week. Once a spell is over from Monday to Friday, they are not created from next Monday. Am I doing anything wrong? The exact time to start the Shadow copies is at 9:00PM from Monday to Friday.
In the Event Viewer, I do not identify any trace of error related to VSS, MS Software provider service as well as DCOM services. But at the same time, Service Control Manager has reported in the Event Viewer that the Windows Modules Installer service entered
the running state.
Please suggest if any solution is noticed.

Hi Ravi,
Do you have enough free space on the drive you are having shadow copy created? Please check the event logs for VSS in application log and post the details.
Please see if you can delete the old shadow copies from the drive to make more free space for new shadow copies.

I have the same problem except almost every song I bought from Itunes has this problem. Not only that, but somehow some of the music, about $125 worth has been deleted form my 3 back up discs. This is only happening with my purchases and not any songs I uploaded from cd. How on earth did this happen, and how did it wipe clean 3 different back ups? I have found some of the music where it belongs, but like I said some of them are gone, gone, gone. I run three different back ups and they are on 24/7. Where is all of this music? I still have it on my ipod, but it will not load back into itunes the way purchases used to. Some of the music is purchased straight to my ipod touch, but shouldn't i be able to reload them into itunes? I spent 3 hours going 1 song at a time reloading them from their original location. But I cannot locate about $125 worth of music that I purchased from itunes. I have 6 macs in my family and preach the good news to all who will listen about hows macs are flawless. Now I have egg all over my face and have thrown away a nice sum of money on missing music. Please help!

If you update to iOS 8, you can select that in Settings>Messages>Keep Message and then select your option. If you don't update to iOS 8, you'll need to do it manually.

Restored NTFS partitions are no longer bootable?

After using Boot Camp to create a FAT32 partition, I restored an image to that partition from my previous NTFS partition using Disk Utility. The restore was successful except that now my NTFS is no longer bootable. Can anyone help me out?

When Broker Restarts None of the Temporary Queues Are Created

Somehow when the broker restarts none of the temporary queues are getting recreated. The queues were created successfully the 1st time and the applications were happily exchanging messages. Things just fall apart when the broker restarts.
I'm able to reproduce this problem consistently by doing the following:
1. Start imqbrokerd (mq start)
2. Start client application
3. Shutdown imbrokerd (mq stop)
4. Start imqbrokerd (mq start)
After the producers in the client application have reconnected the following messages are displayed in the console. I'm only able to get the client app to work again is if I restart the client apps.

Do you guys have any idea on what's going on? Does anybody know of an existing workaround?

The application is inside an app server but we're not using a resource adapter as we're using Spring and Camel to hide the JMS details. Spring (JMSComponent) manages the connection directly. (We current don't have any JMS connection pooling as well.)

I'm going to write a very basic producer using Spring without using Camel and see if I'll get the same behavior. I'd like to see if the way Camel uses JMS is what's making OpenMQ broker to deny creation of temporary queues.

EP6.0: Can't change the Users that are created earlier by somebody else

Hi,
I ( have super admin access) am trying to modify/delete some of the users that were created by some body else earlier.
During Modify, it's not allowing me to change the following (grayed out)
1> Last name
2> First name
3> email add
Moreover I don't even see the password field where I can reset the password.
Also when I change the validity period etc, for some reason, the old data come back again after some time.
The user in question needs some additional access and need resetting of the password and I am not able to do the 2nd.
Also please note that there is no issue with the User lock, I have checked that already.

Have u Changed in User Mapping ?
Go to 'User Admn' - >User MApping -> search for the User u want -> Do edit .
If u hav did any LDAP ,u can't change the Fname / Lname here as it's been configured .

It tells you to go to Error 13 and 14 if you receive error (-50).
Here is what I have tried...
Error 13 and 14: These errors are typically resolved by performing one or more of the steps listed below:
Perform USB isolation troubleshooting, including trying a different USB port directly on the computer. See the advanced steps below for USB troubleshooting. I have moved it around to different ports.
Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer. Didn't change anything.
Try a different USB 30-pin dock-connector cable.
Eliminate third-party security software conflicts. Removed all virus protection and firewall.
There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. Or, follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to reset the packet size back to the default for Windows.Used the Microsoft fix it.

Yes, you can sync podcasts. Except in this case it's KEXP.org's song-a-day podcast that are just songs. I want them to work the same way as any song in my library from any other source. I do not want to manage them as podcasts. And for whatever reason it won't send them to my iphone as songs unless I right click and convert to mp3. And yes, they already are mp3s. Before I convert them, they don't ever show up in iTunes DJ or in Music either. I don't know... ask Apple.

Notes in the Notes app are missing after upgrade to iOS 8

I upgraded my iPhone 5s to iOS 8. After the upgrade, all of the notes stored in the Notes app are missing. The notes were not associated with an email address, as I believe they were stored on the "On my iPhone" account. I also tried restoring the phone from a backup prior to the upgrade, but that did not restore the notes. To be clear, the notes app is there, but the notes inside it are missing. Solutions?

Hi everybody,
do you know any report (programme, table or other object) that provides with the information on what reports have been called by the users over a certain period of time in the past? I am especially interested in the reports in the customer name space (z-reports). Once there was a programme called RBE (Reverse Business Engineer) that could give this information, but it doesn't function in ECC 5.0 & ECC 6.0 anymore and no longer supported by SAP.

I have a mac mini-snow leopard. I recently bought an external HD. I want to use part of the HD to back up my mac via Time Machine. The other part I want to use to store my Itunes and other media such as movies with VLC so that I can take the HD and play it back thru my windows XP laptop. The problem is that my laptop does not see the part of the external drive that has my mac info stored on it. Only sees the drive ( as drive E ) with zero data that was created by me when I partitioned it on my mac. I partitioned the drive in two. One partitioned under GUID for mac. The other part under exfat for windows. Any suggestions on why my XP laptop cannot view the mac info on the HD. Thanks.

Can IFS be set up so that new files inherit the ACL of the folder they are created in

I realise that a file created or saved in IFS takes on the ACL of the User who created it. This is fine if users always save items into the same folders or belong to a single group. However, it causes problems when users need to save different items in many folders, each of which may have different audiences/require different security.
With this in mind, is it possible to set up IFS so that a file inherits the ACL of the folder in which it was created/saved, at creation/saving point?
I'd appreciate any info on this, as have read the documentation and couldn't find any info on it.

We are faced the same problem.
So I wrote a script that syncs ACLs of the files and folders they're in only if differs.
I use SQL script that generates ifsshell script and then it is run from the client. See below

I am new to the sharepoint. I would like to create a public facing sharepoint 2013 site .
Main requirement is Administrator must login to site and create a documents in library. Those documents must visible to everyone. So that site must be public facing.

From your description, my understanding is that you want to let all users have permission to access a document.
The first method you could create a public facing site with method below:

Add your document into the home page: Click gear icon -> edit page -> INSERT tab in the Ribbon -> Web Part -> select your document -> Save.
The second method you could accomplish your requirement via manage your document permission:

Enter your document library.

Click Library Setting in the Ribbon.
3.
Click
Permissions for this document library under Permissions And Management section.
4.
Click Stop Inheriting Permissions in the Ribbon.
5.
Click Grant Permissions in the Ribbon.
6.
Enter everyone and choose view only as the screenshot below.

Then users can access this document library via its URL(in my case it is:

Are you talking about Web template bookmark or QueryDesigner bookmark?
If yes then in both the cases its is stored in your client machine as a browser favourite.This has nothing to do with HANA or BW system.So you can transfer browser favourite file from one system to other.
If you are talking about in anyother context please be precise and more elaborate .
