My credit is poor so a trade in is not an option since when I have spoken with several dealerships that will require between $2-4K down payment. Capital One Auto loan, $18K balance, at best the car is worth $14K and at worst $10K. Car payment is $640.94 with 23% interest rate. Oh also its a 2009 Chevy Traverse. I have not tried selling it because I would not be able to get a personal loan to pay the difference. I personally don't think it will make much difference to my credit if I voluntarily surrender the car but I need some advice before I even attempt this. Yes I would need a car but I can drive my brother's car in the meantime as he is a truck driver and is only home sporadically. And yes this is a very big drain on my finances when my car payment is way more than my house payment. My house payment is only $462. But between these two debts its becoming increasingly difficult to just maintain.

Is it possible to pick up a second job or sell things around the house to get the funds together so you can pay off the part that is upside down? That way you could either refi it to a lower rate or take it to CarMax and sell it to them.All you need is an additional income for a short while until you can sell the vehicle. I would hate for you to go through a repo and get a judgment and have to pay it and not have the vehicle.Do you know what is holding down your score? Do you have credit card accounts or just the auto loan and house mortgage?

I worked on EHP4 and didn't find any difference in using the M or V indicators on down-payment, may be while executing ME2DP you can restrict the voluntary down payments.

Voluntary dissolution of writ of garnishment

Hi, I'd appreciate any insight into my situation. I had a Chase credit card go bad. They sued me and won a default judgement. Froze my bank account. I hired an attorney who filed a claim of exemption because I was the head of family supporting 3 children on my own. (I left an abusive marriage. I had restraining orders and everything) Anyway, Chase did a Voluntary Dissolution of Writ of Garnishment and that went away. I want to file a motion to vacate the judgement. Can I? Do I need to go back to my attorney?

It really varies by state and most have established deadlines for filing to vacate in a default judgment. Also, if the debt is yours, even if you are successful in getting the default judgment vacated because you weren't properly served or have a valid reason you couldn't appear, etc, Chase can refile against you. They may not be able to garnish but they can win a suit against you. In most states, judgments can be renewed collectible for years...my state allows 20 years. The other kick in the teeth is that if they renew the judgment years down the road, the CRAs are allowed to continue to report them as long as they are enforcable. I believe they can report for 7 yrs 6 months from filing if paid. If not paid, they can report beyond that if they are still enforcable in your state.
If you can get the judgment vacated, it would be best for you to settle, pay, or set up a payment arrangement to prevent them from just getting another judgment if the debt is yours and valid and within SOL.

Tax exemption is not working in Voluntary retirement service amount which employee get at the time of retirement,
I have followed all the criteria as per SAP standard guide, as below. Still tax exemption is not working. Kindly do needful.
:- I have copied wage type (MVR0) and created a wage type,(VRS payment through 15 Infotype)
:- Table entry V_T7INT9

:- Table entry V_T511K
The retired employee is 58 years OLD he completed 10 years in present company, he didn't get any exemption form previous employer. (Infotype 580)

Dear Consultants,
After lot of R&D and understanding of VRS TAX exemption process I have solved this issue, now it is working fine.
If anyone having problem regarding this, I can help them. And keep eye on below configuration.
1) VRS process designed to process only through Termination Workbench T Code :- PC00_M40_TERM.
2) Below mentioned configuration is mandatory for VRS Tax exemption process.
This is the configuration apart from regular configuration you have to do in IMG.

Cache voluntary garbage collection called

We have installed Oracle Web Cache 2.0.0.4.0 on Windows 2000. We setup the Maximum cache size parameter to 1000Mb, but, when we try to caching a web using WGET, Oracle Web Cache return a "cache voluntary garbage collection called" in the file of log: "event_log".
What is the problem?

The message you're seeing in the event log isn't necessarily a problem. The cache has a voluntary garbage collection mechanism that "wakes up" periodically, checks to see if the system is sufficiently idle, and begins to clear out garbage (invalidated/expired) files. This is different from "forced garbage collection", which occurs when the cache nears its maximum size.
Are you able to cache content? Are you seeing responses served out of the cache?
I would strongly advise you to upgrade to release 9.0.2, available for download on OTN. There is also a migration tool there for moving from 2.0.0.x to 9.0.2.x. After you've migrated, you can optionally apply the 9.0.2.1 patch set, available on Metalink.

Have latest version of iTunes installed and running. Also make sure you have internet access working and can access Apple websites. Also, make sure you don't have any entries in your hosts file referring to gs.apple.com....If your not sure about how to do that, go ahead and do the rest first. You can come back to that later.....Plug in phone. Put phone in DFU mode.(google put iphone in DFU mode for instructions) Then restore the phone in iTunes by highliting your device in the left column and click on the Restore button. The latest iOS version is 4.3.3. That's what iTunes will restore it to. When it's done restoring, iTunes will ask if you want to restore from a backup or setup as a new phone. I would use the Setup as a New Phone option. Once it's done, you should have a clean install of the iOS and an operating phone, as long as there are no hardware issues with it.

I don't recall this UI, but what you can do to hide a field without having to modify any code is to use the personlization feature.
Go to Content Admin, select the Iview that you want to modify, ctrl+right click and hide the field.

I've done some restating of the question, and distributed the calculations among several fields, not all of which need to be included on the visible layout. Other than formatting the Date fields and moving the 'Completed Date' field and its label, I've left this in the default "Layout 1" produced by AppleWorks.
Field List:
Priority: Popup menu with six items: 00, J, D, 1, 2, 3 Defaults to 00
TL (time limit in months): Calculation: CHOOSE('Priority',0,1,3,4,6,12)
Received: Date. Option: Automatically insert today's date (ie. Date Record created) (may be edited)
Target Date: Calculation:
DATE(YEAR('Received')+INT(MONTH('Received')+'TL')/12,MOD(MONTH('Received')+'TL', 12),DAY('Received'))

The On Target field shows the current status of the case while still open, and the state on the closing date when it was closed.
Having done that, I was unhappy with the Remaining field continuing to calculate an ever larger negative number after the case had been closed. Hence this revision below:
Remaining: Calculation: IF('Completed','Target Date'-'Completed Date',INT('Target Date'+1-NOW()))
Shows the number of days remaining while the case is open, the days remaining at completion if the case has been marked Completed and the completion date entered.
Rsults (and some further formatting of the Layout) below.
Part B:
You will need Subsummary parts when sorted on Completed and on On Target. Fields can appear on a Layout only once, so each subsummary part will need a separate Summary type field for each field to be summarized.

3. Apply TUB 182 (SAP Note 1482468).

My question is- we are at level HRSP 60423, and this note is released in HRSP level 60425, is this HRSP 60423 a valid release and support package range section for this note?

Compaq CQ56 219WM possible chipset defect and the voluntary replacement program

I have been having issues with my laptop for most of the time I've had it. Issues with the fan being intermittent even when set to Always On in the bios. That issue never went away. Problems with BSOD and hard drive even being recognized. But as a graduate student, I haven't had much time to be without it. So I put it on a cooler with a big fan and have been babying it as much as possible. The hard drive's actually been perfectly fine for the last month or two, but now completely failed one month out of the 12mo warranty, but I just found out (after searching on the net what type of SATA it had, didn't want to overspend on SDD for it) there may have been a voluntary replacement program on it. I've already purchased another hard drive that is on its way, but with the original not working there is currently no way to check the Device Manager for the exact chip set version used on mine. My serial number does have the possibly affected 107 digits in the right spot, though. I'm also concerned about even putting the other HD in it because I don't want the chipset to damage it, since that may have been how the other failed. Is there anyone at HP who can email me at benjamin doubleyooo (the letter, spam bot protection) g at yahoo dot com and I can give you my serial and product numbers so you can check to see in your database what was used on mine? Our university tech people said you should have all the necessary information without me even needing to go into Device Manager to check myself.

Voluntary Tax

The is relating to Voluntary Tax . In the 3rd Page of Form 16 DETAILS OF TAX DEDUCTED AND DEPOSITED INTO CENTRAL GOVERNMENT ACCOUNT The voluntary Tax is considering only for Total Tax deposited field. If adds the TDS,Surcharge and Education Cess the amount is n ot tallies with the tAX deposited column. If the Voluntary Tax sum up with TDS then the totals will tallies with Tax deposited column.
Any body got thios problem. Any solution for this...

Yes it should get added to the Total Tax .
As in Vol Tax you are not computing Tax on the Total Income as per the slabs.
I feel its correct unless your total Tax is tallied with the Total challan amount
Pls check up with SAP also, or else you need to work backwards on the Voluantry tax
and compute Educ Cess, surcharge( if any) & TDS for the challan entries.
Once done also chekc uo with your cleint for the solution.

Employee Master- voluntary termination

Hello experts,
If an employee has decided to leave the company, how do I make his/her record in the Employee Master Data Inactive? So it does not show as part of the Employee List.
I do not want to delet it as we want to keep track of the termination reasons and so for.

Hello Pam - from my experience, HR is not used that much, but one company did use it and they used a combination of "Branch" and "Department" on the Employee Master Data window to accomplish this. There is no "active/inactive" status (like BP) that I am aware of. Here is what they did...
1. All users set to "Main" branch. Each user set to their appropriate department.
2. Terminated users set to "Term Grp" Branch and "Term Grp" Department on Employee Master Data window.
3. When they ran the Employee List, they selected "Main" in the branch.
But, this really depends upon how many users you have and how you have set up the branch/department information.
Of course, an alternative might be to generate some SQL (but that is another topic)...

Bridge - Voluntary Scripting Guidelines

It seems to me we would benefit from developing 'good practice' guidelines for Bridge scripting. Here are some intial issues that occur to me:
1. Function namespaces:
Given the use of start-up scripts and the loading of script libraries at start-up it is important we keep function names unique. I am going to use ah_myfunction() for all my own function names. It is also sensible that scripts should use libraries where one already contains a function, rather than duplicating the library function within another script - giving rise to a potential namespace conflict between different versions later.
2. Bridge menus:
Given how central scripting is to Bridge I feel there should be a top-line scripts menu (which I wish could be accessed via an FKey). We could call it 'Scripts' (lol). All non-startup scripts could be listed within that menu - perhaps some guidelines as to order would be useful - maybe alphabetical. It would then be optional to group those further as to application target (in many cases this would be unnecessary). If they are to be grouped by application it may be better to simply organise them with separators rather then put them in further submenus - I resent every extra click I have to make when accessing menus, especially when I am using automation to start with.
To add some background to this point - while the menu customization potential of Bridge is attractive I believe it will mainly be used by scripters rather than by the broader user community. If scripters start creating individual menus as part of scripts they then distribute to a wider audience without consideration of what other scripters are doing things are going to get very messy very quickly. I could start off making an Andrew Hall Scripts menu and why not put next to that a link to my website and maybe to my artsite too etc.etc.
3. Start-up versus one-off scripts.
In many cases it is possible to create a script that does a particular task either as a startup script (the openshut.jsx script is an example of this) or as something that only gets run when required but which is not loaded at startup. I would say that where-ever possible scripts should be created as one-offs (ie not within the startup folder).
4. A Non-Startup Scripts folder and a ScriptData folder
With people writing and releasing non-startup scripts for Bridge, we (and especially the users) would benefit from having them generally put in the same place. My suggestion is to follow the organisation of Photoshop ie Bridge/Presets/Scripts.
Then, some scripts generate data files, access help files, etc, these need to go somewhere. Xbytor and I discussed this a while back in relation to Photoshop and agreed to use subfolders (I use the subfolder AndrewHallScriptData) within a new folder ScriptsData within the Presets folder. I suggest the same would work for Bridge ie Bridge/Presets/ScriptsData/YourFolder/
I am an absolute beginner to Bridge scripting so don't take the above as indicating I think I know better about this stuff than anyone else, I don't. Maybe some of these issues are misguided due to a lack of thorough understanding - if so I am happy to learn more. My issue is that I am about to release some Bridge / Photoshop scripts and I would like to organise them sensibly along the sorts of lines outlined above.

I agree that, in the long run, things will get to be a real mess with global variables and function names conflicting right and left and anarchy in the menus if there aren't some guidelines. It probably won't happen soon because there won't be a flood of add-in scripts for awhile, so Adobe probably has some time to figure this out.
Along the lines that Andrew started, here's what I would suggest:
1) To solve the conflicting name problem, use the "#script script_name" directive (or invent a new #namespace directive) to automatically scope all global variables/function names to a single namespace under that directive. Since some functions need to be public, make a new way to declare just those as public. Perhaps use the #export directive to explicitly declare variables/functions that should be visible outside your #script namespace. Allow all script files with the same #script name to automatically be in the same namespace.
This would give you the best of both worlds. You'd have easy sharing between your own scripts by just using the same #script name on all of them, all variables would be private by default and you'd have a simple way to list the few functions/variables that you wanted to be public.
2) Menus. I like the menu flexibility we have now. It needs to be expanded to include other user interface elements like the filter's drop-down menu and other interface elements like toolbars. What I think is missing (or I haven't found) is the ability to have non-startup-loaded scripts that just automatically appear in a generic "scripts" menu. This would be just like actions automatically appear in the actions UI in Photoshop or filters automaticaly appear in the filters menu. Bridge should have a "scripts" menu for scripts that don't need to be loaded at startup and only need to run when invoked. This would also contribute to the namespace collision problem because scripts loaded in this manner would run, do their thing, and then be unloaded and wouldn't have a chance to conflict with other scripts that were run the same way.
