There is only one way to run Flash stage3D perfectly smoothly, in today's crowded browsers. This is the suggestion I made:
<<Give the user the option to make the current Flash window that is in focus, run in 'exclusive mode' with the click of a button, (by pausing all other Flash instances in all other browser tabs). So when there is a demanding stage3D app/website/game the user would switch to 'exclusive mode' and make it run without stuttering, enjoying the full PC power. This will boost Flash on the web for demanding AAA games/applications/websites running on the browser and will improve the overall user experience. Then Flash could be used literally for anything, even to provide content for today's UltraHD TVs with the recent extended profile! Now If the user switches to another window or loads another website, Flash would exit exclusive mode automatically and everything will run as usual, until the user decides to switch to exclusive mode again. I think there are no disadvantages with this suggestion, only benefits. It will give more power to the user and to Flash.>>

I 100% agree! We have an application that the Government requires information to be stored on the users computer as part of Multi-Factor-Authentication. We originally wrote it as a browser application and when everyone and their brother started deleting browser cookies because of security concerns, we totally re-wrote it as a Flash application to take advantage of permanent storage. This new "feature" in Flash Player is causing much concern because thousands of users will need to start answering lots of security questions every single time they use the application (ie: daily) and our staff is having to handle technical support questions that shouldn't exist. Right now it's only IE that's causing the issue, but I'm sure every browser and Internet Security program will soon be adding this to their products. There should at least be a way for the USER to white-list a specific Domain so Flash could exempt those sites from ANY external program trying to delete ALL Shared Objects/Local Storage/Flash Cookies. The USER should be given that choice. This would satisfy the extra privacy you are putting in there and still allow information to be stored from sites that require it.

My iphone recently cannot connect to itunes but I can still change my credit card info in my apple id. So I changed my credit card info to another credit card.
Can I still purchase gems for my app game even though my phone wont connect to itunes. I did purchase gems and it worked but I am wondering if it was purchased from my old credit card info instead of the new credit card info I just put in from my apple ID.

Can some one please tell me where do I complain or start an Investigation on an app that has be wrongly charging a credit card for gems and coins with. First, to prevent this from happening again, she should turn off "In App purchases" in the Restrictions settings on her iPad so that she can't make a purchase inadvertently. Not all games make it clear that coins, gems and such cost real money. She may also want to turn off the ability to install apps, and set the password to be required immediately. As to a refund, that's not automatic since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store as AnaMusic suggested, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though. They're usually pretty lenient in the case of inadvertent purchases.

Question About what Azure Services I should be using for mobile app with website.

I am wondering what Azure service would be best for my new application. I need to have an SQL database that I can connect to and modify from both a website and a mobile app preferably WP8 and Android. I was not really understanding whether I would need a
mobile service or normal SQL database. Which should I use or am I completely off track?

Mobile Services uses SQL Database, nothing special on that SQL Database, its just like any other "normal" SQL Database.
Mobile Services provides "back-end services" that simplifies accessing SQL Database, Notification services, authentication, etc...
Let's assume you don't use Mobile Services, to use SQL Database, you would need your app (both mobile and web) to connect to the database. In practice, you will not want to expose your SQL database directly, so you'd end-up writing some kind of a "facade"
that your app will access instead of directly connecting to the database.
Instead of writing that "facade", Mobile services provides that for you (you still have to write code though, but less than what you need to write if you're rolling your own).
Both your web app and mobile apps can share the same SQL database (pay attention to the mobile service schema).
To help you decide, ask yourself what other features will your mobile app require? Authentication? Notification? etc... are you prepared to write those on your own or use various libraries instead of one?

How do I go back into my registry and change a number for loading apps and websites from 20 back to ten?

I tried something suggested from a friend who said to go to a spot in my registry and change a number from 10 to 20, and this would help apps to load better, giving them more time. But now nothing will load because there is to much time taken. I need to find that segment of the registry and change the number back. When I went there, a little box popped up and said, "I will be careful I promise. "

I did the resetting preferences, still no help, still cannot play flash games on facebook like Indiana Jones, Cityville, and Pioneerville. I wish I could go back and change that number I changed from 20 back to 10. I would be playing right now.

HT2204 Updating Purchased Apps/Games

I have a 4 month old 3rd Generation iPad which I purchased second hand.
It already had a number of Apps/Games installed which had been purchased by the original owner of the iPad.
When updates become available for the Apps/Games I am unable to install them because I do not have the Apple I.D. and Password of the original owner of the iPad.
Is it possible to install the updates without the I.D. and Password?

You can't update apps that aren't yours, you should delete them from the device.

If none of your third-party apps are working, but the Apple built-in ones are ok, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted. In terms of re-downloading apps then you can do so as long as they are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
For synced photos, then with the iPad connected to and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, then on the Photos tab on the right-hand side you can control which photos are synced to the iPad : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236 . If you don't want any photos to be synced then try selecting just an empty folder.

Flash Alternative for developing app with lots of 2D Animation

First let me say, I know Flash does not run on iPad. And I'm not looking for an alternative to Flash Video.
I want to create an app for the iPad, with a lot of full screen, 24 frames-per-second animation. Basically an interactive Animated Movie, like the game Dragon's Lair, from days of yore.
I know how to do this in Flash, using the timeline and drawing and animation tools, and using Actionscript to track user clicks and trigger events in the movie.
Are there any alternative tools I can use for iPad app development, that will allow me to:
-- Draw directly in the tool
-- Do frame by frame animation in the tool
-- Uses a timeline
-- Uses vector images to keep the file size down
-- Has a scripting language that will allow me to track the user clicking on invisible buttons and trigger new animations?
I've looked at all of Apple's Developer tools for the iPhone and iPad, but they all seem to use Bitmapped Sprites which would make the file size way too big, and animation a nightmare.

Well, there are several 3D game developers for the iOS operating system including EA Sports and id Software's Doom Engine. And in the Apple Software Development Kit for iOS, there are numerous API's for game development. I think you should google game development for the iOS (ipad and iphone), and see what they've got.

Why I still need to pay for the apps which I purchased when I downloaded in my 2nd iPad? For example the flashcards, I need to pay again for the additional games... Please help.

I have paid for the additional games in my first iPad, when I download it again from purchased history, and execute it, it prompt me a request payment dialog. The truth is, I have paid it previously? Is it a normal for this kind off apps which is lite (free), and paid for upgrade would not have the previlage for second device?

I agree with you, I downloaded it using the same apple id, and it is free even though for the first time downloading. We need to pay when we wanted to buy additional game/flash cards, but for my ipad2, when i select the one I have been purchased before for the additional cards, it prompt request payment... I am doubtful whether it will charge or not.....

Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
If you are using Safari to view YouTube content, with Safari open, press Command + Option + E to empty the Safari cache.
Quit and relaunch Safari, try a video.
And make sure Allow all other plug-Ins is selected in Safari > Preferences > Security
As well as Allow Java.

Search the Apple Store, there are many many words games in the style of Scarbble, inluding Scrabble itself. What rules they have and what types of words they allow Is hard to say. But you can download some free versions and try them out to see how they play, and what they allow.

We are fellow users here on these forums. Have you tried logging out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logged in and seeing if it then works ?
