Hi srinivasgsn,
Thank you for considering Sony Community!
Your computer needs an updated Windows 10 audio driver. Unfortunately, Sony is still validating the updated drivers and software for Windows 10. Please visit this page for further information: http://www.sony-asia.com/microsite/support/win10/en/index.html
One of the users here, jshanholtz was able to resolve the audio issue on his unit by modifying the audio driver. You may check the steps he provided but we cannot give you the assurance that it will work without issues. You may try it at your own risk. https://community.sony.com/t5/VAIO-Windows-10/Windows-10-Audio-Problem-Fix/m-p/517373#M228
What we recommend is to wait for the updated driver for Windows 10. Your Vaio VPCEG25EN is an Asia-Pacific model and we do not have the drivers that support your laptop.
For further assistance regarding your concern, please contact the Sony offices/Sony representative offices nearest to your place of residence in Asia Pacific region http://www.sony-asia.com/countryselector.html?hpid=countryselector:AsiaPacific. Due to proximity, they are in a better position to respond to your questions or concerns.

  • Problems with the latest Windows 7 Conexant HD Audio Drivers For WIndows 7

    Hi,
I have a Toshiba Satellite P305-S8997E with the Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 211 speakers. I have recently upgraded with the Windows 7 32/64-bit audio drivers posted within the last week in the Drivers section, and have had a few problems with them. Namely that whenever I listen to music (and etc), the volume is fairly low, and even when the speaker AND media player (Foobar, FYI) volumes are cranked, they flucuate, and eventually end up being much lower than they should. Is there any fix to this? I recently downgraded to the last Vista 64-bit drivers for them and that has ended the volume problem, but it doesn't sound as good as it should to my ears. Any help is appreciated.
Also, this computer is only about two months old, and this problem hasn't surfaced until very lately, so I doubt it's something like the speakers going out or anything.

Windows 7 is still a PRE-RELEASE OS until the OFFICIAL release date of October 22nd.  Toshiba and other manufacturers are still working on their drivers and may not have fully functioning drivers until then.  My advice is be patient and wait for them to get all of the bugs out.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

  • Q100 audio drivers for Windows 7?

I recently purchased a Q100 (3014-1CU), and after an initial bootup to the factory installed Win XP, I installed Windows 7 (32-bit), via USB cdrom. That process went smooth and everything works except for the audio. Windows 7 detected audio as "High Definition Audio Device" and uses the generic microsoft provided driver (hdaudio.dll). Though the device itself seems detected correctly (there is no yellow exclamation point in device manager), the audio emitted contains crackling, static, and appears to be slightly off pitch. It is similar to a problem I had a long time ago (on different hardware) where the wrong bitrate was set for the card. So anyways, I've tried everything I can think of to get the audio working:
    - Verified all physical connections are secure (Since the audio worked in my initial bootup to XP, this shouldn't be the issue)
    - Swapped speakers and cables (same problem)
    - Tweaked various audio settings: Tried all available bitrates, disable digital enhancements and pretty well every other driver-exposed setting was tweaked
    - Tried other generic audio drivers that microsoft ships (Microsoft WDM Audio Drivers; another version of High Definition audio device). These drivers did not even initialize
    - Tried to tweak BIOS settings (only thing in BIOS is to disable the onboard audio outright)
    - Looked on lenovo's website for updated drivers: Nothing is available for Q100
    - Looked on SIS website for updated drivers: Nothing is available for this chipset
    - Did a PCI database lookup and found this to be a Realtek based device; installed the newest driver's found on www.realtek.com.tw (version R2.39). These drivers installed correctly, but did not fix the problem.
So at this point, I'm suspecting I'm going to need a lenovo or Sis driver to get this working. Can someone from  lenovo point me to drivers for this device (even if they are XP drivers) or offer any suggestions?
    Thanks

For anyone else who runs into this issue, I managed to "fix" the problem by installing an old version of the realtek driver (5898_PG281_VISTA_TurnOff_PullMode_Upd), found with a bunch of other debugging and hints on this thread: http://www.sevenforums.com/sound-audio/22369-realtek-windows-7-64rtm-crackle-static-popping.html
I'm still looking forward to seeing an official driver posted by Lenovo for this issue, since the old driver is out of date, removes some functionality and is unsigned

  • Audio Drivers for hp pavilion zd 8460ea model for Windows XP

    Hi ,
Somebody please help me find the audio drivers for the model zd 8460ea for Windows xp OS.
    Regards
    Jiju

    Hi, Jiju:
Does your sound device show up in the device manager with the exclamation mark?
If so, please click on it, then click on the details tab.
Post the top string of characters you see. That string indentifies the manufacturer of the device and the device model.
With that info, hopefully we can find the correct driver for it.

Forget captain unhelpful there.  Just because MS is using it's dwindling weight to flog people to Win8 because you'll eat what they feed you doesn't mean you can't cook your own food with flavours you enjoy.
I'm only starting to track down drivers so..the list is incomplete.
    Network card:
    Wireless: Realtek RTL8723BE
    found here:

AMD/ATI drivers account for the bulk of the system:
Motherbard is HP 226a running on the AMD KernCZ chipset.
Download  BOTH the AMD Catalyst driver && the optional downloads (which I missed the first time).
    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64
They will install most everything else like Video and Audio
Video: Radeon APU A4-6000 with R4/R5 Graphics
Audio: ATI/AMD Kabini - High Definition Audio Controller
    USB

  • Audio Drivers for an XP install of a dv7t-1200?

I had to reformat my laptop and since Vista is still a mediocre at best OS, I decided to switch back to XP. Unfortunately, it seems as though HP has no audio drivers for this operating system. Is there any known way to get audio working on a dv7t-1200 under windows XP? Thank you in advance

For windows Server 2008 and Server 2012 you may need enable Desktop Experience Feature
The Desktop Experience Feature enables a bunch of stuff that is by default present on a desktop OS. Most importantly it includes Themes, Windows Media player and the Aero related features. You will have to enable it form the Server Manager. The "Turn Windows features on or off" / "Add remove windows components" has all been rolled into the Server Manager now.
Server Manager > Features > Desktop Experience
Installing the Desktop Experience feature does not enable them. You have to manually set them up.
After that Windows Server 2008 == Vista x64
    Windows Server 2008 R2 == Windows 7 x64
    Windows Server 2012 == Window 8 x64
So just use the appropriate desktop drivers - that are available

  • New drivers for windows 7

When there will be official drivers for windows 7?

I fully appreciate this is a user discussion forum.
BUT, the announcement about the release of the Win 7 Beta drivers is in a post on this forum, dated May 2010. I seem to think that the "first" release was actually earlier than that.
It is now March 2011 and still the "final release" is nowhere to be seen. I've run the beta for the 0404 (not USB) since it was released; it appears slightly more stable than the previous Vista driver, but quite severe distortion can occur without warning, often to be "corrected" only by stopping and restarting playback of the wanted audio.
It would certainly be appreciated by those of us who run Win 7 and an EMU card to receive some kind of update as to what is actually happening, not merely the stock answer that "Notices about updates will be posted....".
