Could someone tell me what VPN Client works with Windows 8 and with Windows 7 to connect to a ASA?
I understand the Cisco VPN Client has been End-of-Lifed.

yeah, and I can't believe that you can't buy sushi for breakfast, but there it is. Chris CA is right. Lightning will NOT support analog video out. It will do audio, though. So...your best bet would be to buy a Lightning digital AV adapter (2nd generation) then try to find an HDMI to 30 pin cable. I'm presuming that the wowee has a 30 pin socket on it... I see.... it also has a VGA and a mini-HDMI port on it, so you'll have to use the last two, perhaps, unless you can find cable that goes from HDMI to 30 pin male end, then 30 pin female to female, to finally connect with the wowee. I have yet to see a 30 pin female to female adapter, and I suspect there will never be one. I can't believe many things, either, scoody. Apple is not known for going backwards, once it has introduced a new standard. It may try to acommodate some people, but it will never be able to please everyone. In any event, I think it was mentioned by Apple that, in moving to Lightning, some 30 pin stuff might not work, and the wowee cinemin slice is probably one of those things...

Are you looking to embded youtube, vimeo etc. videos in Muse? If yes, that can be done very easily by simply inserting the "Embed Code" for the video into Muse using the "Object -> Insert HTML" option. Take a look at the below mentioned links:

Contivity VPN Client, Windows Media Center and Linksys

Has anyone had any issues connecting through VPN on Windows Media? I am using Contivity Client V6.01 (I've also tried some previous versions) and going through a Linksys router with a wireless connection. My laptop, which runs XP Home, runs flawlessly with the same client and the same connection parameters through the same Linksys router.
When I first connect to the VPN site, it appears successful. Just a few seconds later, my wireless connection disappears. It's not just the media center, either -- it brings down my whole internet connection. Once the VPN client detects the loss of the connections, just a few seconds later, the internet connection reconnects. It's as though the VPN connection and my home network's internet connection are mutally exclusive.
Anyone else find a solution?

you might need to upgrade the firmware of your router and make sure that the configuration is right. because losing internet access at the same time will also be the cause of the configuration of the router.

Check if client browser supports javascript and java

It would be a bit of a hack, but you could embed a Javascript snippit in the actual HTML that would use document.write() to output a hidden tag. If your server recieved the hidden tag on a GET or POST request, you would know that Javascript was enabled.

What is the last version of the Apple OS that supports Eudora and Quake III? (I'm at 10.4.11)

I am having vertical line issues with my G4 PowerMac Quicksilver (April 2002).. Red or purple lines and sometimes they connect to the pointer arrow.
I thought it was the graphics card but when I ran the Apple Hardware Test Disk version 1.2.5 it failed at the Logic board, although it's an after market Logic board because one of my (2) 1 gig processors died a few years back so I don't know if the hardware test disk is still valid with an after market Logic board?
Also What is the last version of the Apple OS that supports Eudora 6.2.4 and Quake III? (I'm at 10.4.11)

I'd strongly recommend replacing the thermal compound on the Radeon 9800 Pro. It could very easily be a simple matter of lack of cooling which is causing your issue.

As for drivers or ROM updates, if the card is a flashed one, don't bother with the firmware. All ROMs are the latest firmware.

[SOLVED] Tiling wm that supports keychains and good mouse support

I hope I'm not bringing up old questions but I couldn't really find anything useful using the search
Basically I'm searching for a new tiling wm that supports a few things, namely:
Keychains, absolutely necessary, dwm and i3 didn't seem to have this feature or I overlooked it
good mouse support, hard to say when mouse support is good but configurable menus would be nice
config files that aren't written in lua, ruby or whatnot wouldn't hurt either
I'm using pekwm at the moment (screw the *boxes), an excellent wm, but it's no tiler...

I doubt that you're going to have much success finding a tiling manager with all of that baked in; most twms are made by minimalists and seem to eschew extra programs, unlike gnome and KDE.
yeah I know, but pekwm is also pretty minimal and supports keychains

You might be able to use xbindkeys to set up keychains, but it won't be trivial since you'll have to write a guile scheme config file and implement the keychaining logic on your own.
I'm pretty sure I won't have enough time and skills to do that

I'm not sure how far the fsb goes but I know that I can set mine to 500 in the bios!!! Usually run it at 200, and have gone as high as 245, but 300???? you'll never get there without extreme overvolting and liquid nitrogen cooling!
Dynamic overclocking does not increase voltage, you must set it before if you have to. And dynamic overclocking is also limited to a 15% increase of the fsb (AFAIK).
About wanting a board that supports the 300 fsb, you might want to wait a few years for that LOL. No current processor can hit that high anyways.
Other specs for my board, cant adjust the Vcore because I have a Prescott so I don't know how high it can go, Vdimm goes as high as 3.0 volts, and agp volts can go to 1.8.

EDIT: Oh, and I don't know about the MS-DOS stuff, and the mem should not be a problem unless it has a cas of 2. And the agp/pci does not say that its locked, but I have checked the speeds with Clockgen and it does not vary at all.

Looking for e-mail that supports Safari and OSX Mail client.

I've noticed that some email applications don't support Safari so a lot of the nice features are not available, even on paid subscriptions such as Yahoo! plus which is $20 per year. Is there one that does support Sarari that doesn't limit the features?

Never got an answer so I contacted my Satellite provider to use their e-mail set up for my Mac Mail client. I guess that provider is as good as any.

Making a Flash Drive or CD Bootloader That's Snow and Win7 Compatible?

Hi. How do you make a flash drive or CD/DVD bootloader that is compatible for Snow Leopard and Windows 7 (both 64-bit but 32-bit is ok too)? I don't want to install the bootloader into any of the hard drives of either Snow nor Win7. It's a safer choice to have a portable bootloader in the flash drive in my situation. I'll be using a Mac (preferred) to make it although I have a PC as well. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like at least in part you want to use Windows or OS X in an unlicensed (illegal) manner. Please refer to the Terms of Use regarding why you will not get any help with that in Discussions (or if you do it will immediately be deleted).
Apart from that, consider that:
• Whether it is Windows 7 or OS X that you want to load, you need to install it on the boot drive using an appropriate installer. Just "seeing" the OS won't allow you to do this.
• Basic hardware driver support must be present in the files that the boot loader can access without the help of any OS.
• Macs use the EFI boot method. Study that if you want to learn what you can & can't do with the boot loader.

Is it possible to export an interactive PDF that supports landscape and portrait orienations?

From the reading/Adobe TV/Classroom in a Book stuff that I have seen so far it always comes down to publishing something for the Apple app store. I don't want to do this. I want to design a nice pdf document that I can load on to specific people's iPad's. I don't want just anyone to be able to purchase my content. Is this possible?

My specific application is that my company is giving away iPad's that we are preloading with an original ebook of ours. I'd like to do more than simply dump a pdf on to each iPad- ideally I want to develop a book that changes landscape as the iPad does. I don't want my end users to have to have Adobe IDs and so I'm just wondering if this is possible, or if I will have to settle for a single orientation.

You can try looking on the Apple Store Webstie under their speakers. You can then filter by Portable and by Airplay. Most of the speakers are expensive though. If not, you can try these websites.

Cross platform apps that support .swf and .flv

I want to build (HTML5, Javascript, CSS) apps that run on Win, iOS, iphone and Android phones that also include (.swf, .flv) content. Which Adobe tool(s) should I use? It would be nice to have a WYSIWYG UI design front end like Maqetta in building these apps. Does DreamWeaver in combination with Air have all this functionality?

You can't run Flash in a browser in iOS, not even a browser inside an app (it's still Safari).
If you want Flash content inside your app, you need Adobe AIR. Then use StageWebView (plus StageWebViewBridge) to show the parts in HTML.
You can use Adobe Flash Builder or FDT to code in AS3.
