VPRS Condition is missing in invoice for bacth determine line item

Hi Gurus,
I have an Concern, My user has created Sales order with three line items.
He did delivery and Invoice individually for each line item.
For 2 line items he entered batch manually and did invoice there we didn't find any issue.
For third line item he did auto batch determination there for that item VPRS condition is missing in invoice.
I have checked the note ( 70038 ) and I have applied the note also, But still I am facing same problem.
Please provide me solution if any modification need to be done,
Thanks and Regards
Subbu

Hi Subbu
As VPRS condition type is coming for the first 2 line items and not for 3rd line item , so kindly check the Material Master Record->Accounting tab. What is the difference between the 3rd material and another 1st and 2nd materials. Also check in the Analysis what it is showing for the third line item billing document

  • Different Line item in invoice for same po line item?

    Hi,
Can I post two  invoice  line item for same po line item?
What is significance in business point view?
    Thanks and Regards
    Anil Patil

    HI,
You can post two invoice for one line item in PO,
Say u  raise a PO for 100 and then do a GR for 50 1st and then 50 2nd then you have two invoice for the same PO with same line item.
This can also be done with respect to the delivery number also. and then make a invoice with respect to delievry note in MIRO.
    Thanks & regards,

  • Selection of data from RSEG for various PO line items

    Hi ,
We have a requirement to calculate the total goods receipt value and break up cost for transportation also. In purchase order there are various conditions (base price, transportation, surcharge). I am trying to get all the goods movement for a PO line item and total goods receipts. Similarly all the documents from RSEG(we are using split invoice)  for that PO line item, so for each PO line item RSEG has entries as many as  conditions (i am trying to get all the conditions for PO line item from KONV table) . If the total goods receipts and invoiced amounts are different, i need to calculate the expected value based on conditions on PO for the remaining quantity.
The problem is each condition in PO line item has one RSEG entry, but in the field KSCHL(condition type) does not have any value for base price, but it has for other conditions.
is there any specific reason for not updating that for base price.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
The 'Free Items' indicator in the overview is only used to facilitate
the switching off of the Inv.Receipt flag and the GR-based IV flag.
Note that the 'Free Items' indicator is not stored on the PO item
    table EKPO.
The Inv.Receipt flag (and the GR-based IV flag) are the fields that
really controls if an item is 'free' or not.
So, the field is initiated based on the values in those fields rather
than from input from the user.
When an invoice is expected it's not a free-item. This indicator
invoice receipt is chosen from the main-item and also from the
customization maintained for item category 0 in table T163.
I am afraid that I have to say that in standard SAP design
it is not possible to default the "Free item" flag.

  • How to create a separate invoice for each delivery line?

    Hello,
Our customer is requesting a separate invoice for each delivery line. Is there a way to configure this? Or a customization?
    Thanks,
    Joy

    Hello,
You need to do this through copy controls. in the transaction code VTFL, you need to develop a new routine and attach it in the area "Data VBRK/VBRP"
attach your custom designed routine and it will split the invoice according to each line item.
check the standard routines available for hints to develop the routine with your abap. there are several  standard rotuines available
    Hope this helps

    Hi,
Please check the maximum number of line items per excise invoice under customizing
logistics general->Tax on goods movement->India->Basic settings->Maintain excise registration->check for EI items.
I think it is defined as 2.

  • Two customs Invoices for a single PO item

    Hi,
For a Purchase Order line item we have already posted a custom invoice and goods receipt done for partial qty.
The Customs invoice was also done for Partial qty.
Now the second consignment is arrived and we want to post the custome invoice for the remaining qty.
While trying to post the same, system is giving qty error....
Quantity invoiced greater than goods receipt quantity
    Message no. M8081
As this is a Import PO the "GR based IV" is not ticked...
Cant we post two custom invoices for a single PO item.....any suggestions....
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    Hi,
I am thinking of converting the message M8081 - Quantity invoiced greater than goods receipt quantity to warning message.
This will resolve my issue which I am facing for multiple customs invoice for a single PO line Item.
I have two similer message configured in my system
M8081 - Quantity invoiced greater than goods receipt quantity
M8504 - Quantity invoiced greater than goods receipt quantity
    Both are error messages.
My understanding is that the first one is used where the Indicator for "GR based IV" is unticked in PO and the secod one is for the GR based IV is ticked.
Your opinion on this..so that I can understan the implication

  • How to not select an invoice if a certain line item type is present?

    Hi,
I've created a report that lists all invoices that have a particular line item type on it.  For example, I wanted to produce a revenue report by item type, "P-Tank". So, the invoice table links to the invoice line items table. Each line item record has a "resource id" on it. The resource id links to the resource type table. So, if invoice #8 has, say, three line items and one of them has a resource type of "P-Tank" then I report on it.  Basically, I'm making a report grouped by Resource ID and the Resource ID must by of Resource Type 1, 2 or 3.  So, this report I've solved.
Now, I want to report on those invoices that do not have either a resource type 1, 2 or 3 item on it.  If I use a formula:
"Not ({resource_type.resource_type_id} in [1, 2, 3]) that doesn't work because it just omits the line item that is of resource type 1, 2 or 3....but still leaves the invoice on the report with the other line item types. * I want to identify any and all invoices that do not have either a line item resource type 1, 2, or 3 on it.*
    Any help is much appreciated!
    thx,
    Mark

    Hi Abhilash,
That didn't seem towork.  I'll simplify the example to see if we can find the answer easier this way.
I'm using two tables: invoice; and invoice_items
An invoice can have many items on it.
I don't want my query to select any invoices that have a Tank item on it (Tank has a resource id = 8).
So, I'll join the invoice table to the invoice_items table:
    invoice.invoice_id = invoice_items.invoice_id.
The result set looks like the following:
Invoice #        Invoice Item #     Invoice Resource ID
    22                              1                               8
    22                              2                               9
    23                              1                               5
So, because Invoice #22 has a line item with resource id = 8 on it I do not want Invoice #22 to appear on the report at all, regardless of what other items and resource id's are on it.
I have tried joining the two tables in every manner (e.g. inner, outer, not enforced, enforced, etc) and even when I put the condition, invoice_items.resource_id <> 8, it still brings up Invoice #22 but just omits the one line item and leaves the record with resource id 9 (in the example above).  I don't want Invoice #22 to appear at all in the report.
Does that help clarify the problem?
    thx,
    Mark

  • Issue in using custom discount condition type in pricing agreement at Service Contract line item level

    Hello
We are facing an issue while using a Z discount condition type in price agreement at service contract line item level.
A Z Condition type has been created in ECC and assigned to the pricing procedure. This pricing procedure is downloaded in CRM and determined in the service contract.
A condition maintenance group using this Z condition type is created in CRM and assigned to service contract item category.
Condition records are created in CRM for this condition type/condition maintenance group for specific products along with sales org and discount percentage.
But when the price agreement(using this condition type) is used at the item level of a service contract, the system throws errors (related to product/unit of measure and sales org, even though no issues seem to be there)and thus the price agreement is not allowed to be used.
If anyone has worked on such kind of scenario, please get in touch, I will share more details for the same.
    Regards
    Ankit Arora

    Dear Ankit,
Once the pricing procedure is downloaded, please maintain the document pricing procedure at service contract header level, and maintain the customer pricing procedure at business partner sales area billing data.
In spro, maintain the pricing procedure for the combination of sales area, document pricing procedure, customer pricing procedure.
Please crosscheck whether the condition table is active or not.
    Regards,
    Maddy

  • Multiple Payors for One Order Line item. Is it possible?

    Hello SD Gurus
I am trying to see if SAP allows inputting multiple payors for each sales order line item? We have a requirements, where the net value at the line item level will be split up in 1 to 4 payors and then we need to generate the invoices seperately for each of the payors based upon the dollar amount allocated.
If you have come across such scenario please let me know to accomodate such requirements.
    Thanks much
    Jai

    Hi Aj
Thanks for your quick response. I was think on the same lines and you have confirmed that we will have to split the line into several lines on sales order.
I am trying to do that now in our ECC box i.e item 10 with payer 1 and item 2 with payer 2. But as soon as I try to change the payer on item 2, i get the following error message which relates to credit management being active.
I am assuming once we decativate CM, we should be good to go. PLease confirm. Also once its time for billing, will SAP automatically split the billing into different invoices per sales order line item based upon number of payers on the line items?
    PLease confirm your thoughts.

  • Using DMR for multiple GR line item

    Hi,
I would like to ask for some clarification in using DMR.
For example is I have multiple line item for a GR with separate Inspection Lot Number. How will it be handled during DMR?
A scenario is for a example, I have 10 lot. First 9 lot skipped then 10th lot inspected, then if fail do normal inspection for the next 5 lot.
How will the system behave if GR is done at the same time for the 10 line item.
    Thank you,
    Raymond

    Dear Raymond
Also there is another dimension to this. There are two type of timing fo Dynamic modification rule
    1) Dynamic Modification at Lot Creation
For dynamic modification at lot creation, the quality level is updated when an inspection lot is created. The system assumes that the forthcoming inspection will lead to an acceptance of the inspection lot or characteristic.
An inspection lot, which is created immediately after the quality level is updated, uses the information in the updated quality level without a usage decision having been made.
If dynamic modification is carried out at lot creation and the inspection lot is subsequently rejected, the system updates the quality level again when the usage decision is made. The new inspection stage is used by the system to calculate the sample sizes for the next inspection lot.Changing the quality level does not affect inspection lots that were created in the meantime.
    2) Dynamic Modification with the Usage Decision
For dynamic modification with the usage decision, the system updates the quality level when you make the usage decision. At this point, the system evaluates the conditions for an inspection stage change based on the dynamic modification rule and, depending on the results of the current inspection, it determines whether or not the inspection stage should occur.

  • Urgent : Confirmation and invoice number of a line item of a Shopping cart

I have developed an end to end report in SRM which gives us an end to end report of a shopping cart .
I have got the Shopping Cart details using FM : BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL
for each item of the shopping cart in the table E_ITEM  , getting the Po number for it from  E_ITEM- BE_OBJECT_ID
I called FM BBP_BE_PO_GETHISTORY to get the  Confirmation and Invoice number from  E_HEADER_REL of  BBP_BE_PO_GETHISTORY.
But this function  module  gives me the confirmation and invoice number  of a particular purchase order and
I am stuck here as I need to find out the confirmation and invoice number of  a line item and I am not finding a link  between them .
    I  tried using  FM BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL ,
                             BBP_PD_PO_GETLIST
BBP_PD_PO_DOC_FLOW  and other function modules also , however they give me the confirmation and invoices o a particular PO but I am not    able further drill down to find  confirmation and invoivce of a particular line item of a shopping cart …..
Please let me know if there is a way to find this out ????
Useful answers would be rewarded .
    Regards,
    Prabhu

    Hi All ,
I was able to get a link using the function module  BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL . in the tables E_item  has fields BE_OBJ_ITEM  and the BE_OBJ_ITEM which give the po number and po line item number of each line item .
then i used BBP_BE_PO_GETHISTORY Fm to get the history of the po and read the line item history based on the BE_OBJ_ITEM  no .
    Thanks to all .

  • Discount not required for a particular line item in PO

    Hi All,
There is one requirement wherein PO contains 500 line items, in which discount should not be applicable to a particular line item , whereas all the other line items should consist of discount.
Making a separate PO for that particular line item(Having no discount) is not agreeable.
If we put the discount condition type at header level, it'll be applicable to all line items. But requirement is that, discount should not be applicable for  particular line items.
Putting discount condition type to all the line items (Item Level) except a few, is also not agreeable, as it is a manual entry of 490 line items & its not recommended.
    Please suggest asap.
    Thanks

    hi Mahesh,
As you said there are 500 line items in you document and for 1 line item you don't want to give discount and also don't want to creat another seprate document
You have to create seprate document for that one item as in once document you can have MAXIMUM 499 line items
This is because for every line item there will be 1 Debit and 1 Credit entry in FI, but in 1 FI document you can have only 999 line items so in your document you can have maximum 499 items
Second option is that, in M/06, in Changes Can Be Made Area, select tick on DELETE, and when you creating document, delet the condition for that Item
