VPRS Cost Determination in Billing document

Dear Friends,
We are facing an issue in cost determination,  we are creating intercompany billing between the companies.  As part of price determination, we determine standard cost from the material master for price calculation.  Addtionally, we are using split valuation for all the materials.   The problem we are facing -
-> When using the material without spli valution, then system determining the cost into billing document for price calculation
-> When using the material with split valuation then system not determining the cost into billing document and showing as zero price.
Please help to recrify this problem
Best Regards,
Goutham

    hi
    1) T-code VOTXN ,for the text object Customer>Sales and distribution>click the Text types-->create your 4 digit Text ID
    2) Come back to initial screen of this t-code and again selct the text object Customer-->Sales and distribution and click change. Select the text procedure and double click on the Text IDs in text procedure. Here you create a new sequence and select the 4 digit Text ID you have created initialy.
3)Asign the Text procedure which you have selected in step2 and double click onText procedure assignment .Here you assign the Text ID to the Customer Accout group.
    4) In the customer master, sales area tab>Extras menu>text,Select the text which you have created now and enter text into it. and save.
The text which you have created now ,can be used for multiple purpose(Ex.sales order, delivery, billing, pricing, inforecords, legal). for example in this case, You just want to display this text during sales order processing, then proceed as follows,
5)T-code VOTXN ,for the text object Sales document>Header>click the Text types-->create your 4 digit Text ID.
    6) Come back to initial screen of this t-code and again selct the text object Sales document-->Header and click change. Select the access sequence and create new acces sequence(This access sequence is similar to that of in Pricing).Select this acces sequence and double click the access sequence for text ids. Here in the first column this is Serial no.second column is text object(This is the area from which text has to be refer. In our case we have created the customer Text object for sales and distribution area,so i.e.KNVV) and the next column is Text id,This is the id which we have created at customer text object for sales and distribution initialy,at step 1). The next column is partner function,it will identify for which parter this text has defined.Next 2columns are Languages(if you want to define for all langugage or specififed language),next column is for specified languge for partner function.if you have any requirement to be fulfilled you can create those requirements in the next columns or else leave blank, save and come back to text proceudure.id.
7)Select the text procedure(for ex.01-Sales header) and double click on the Text IDs in text procedure.Create new entries Fill in the sequence and the text id which we have created for sales document-header(in step 5).There is a small check box in the 3rd column which is used whether the text should be refered or copied(this is used if you want to modify the text during the sales order processing or just dispaly the originail text as it is),next column is whether the text should be displayed while creating or it is not obligatory, last column is acces s sequce, this is nothign but the sequence which we have created in step 6) and save.
8)in the final step assign the text proceudre id to the particualre sales order.

  • Cost column in billing document is zero

When i am doing billing, the cost column in the billing document screen is coming as zero. but the accounting documents are getting generated. Please help

    HI,
While creating billing document, we can see the cost center in one of the columns; not the cost. The cost is shown in the conditions; the condition type VPRS refers the cost of the line item.
The cost under the condition type VPRS will not affect the accounting document of the billing. The cost here is used to calculate Profit margin. Note the condition type VPRS is given as statistics.
The net value shown in the billing document is different from the cost of the line item.

  • Hiding the cost column in Billing document

    Hi,
We have a requirement to hide the COST column in transaction VF01, VF02; VF03.Please let me know if any body has any clues.
In the current system there are two companies.
Company 1 Users should not see cost; Company 2 Users has to see the cost.
    I have two options:
    Option One:
We can hide the cost column by changing the screen variant.
    Impact:
This is hiding total system so that both the users can not see the cost .
This is not accepting by IT team.
    Option two:
We can define new transaction copy of VF01, VF02, and VF03. (Transaction Variant)
That will be ZVF01, ZVF02, and ZVF03.For this new transaction we can create a screen variant to hide the cost Authorization to assess of VF01, VF02 and VF03 will be removed to Company 1 users.
    Impact:
If we remove the authorization to VF03 to customer service people.
Through document flow customer service user cannot see billing document. They need to enter ZVF03 to see billing document.
This solution is not accepting by Business (Customer service).
It will be great full if someone can through some light on this.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Output type determination in Billing document

    Hi,
I have a query reg automatic determination of output type in the billing document. The scenario is, For an invoice, two output types are determined automatically for all invoices. But the third output type is determined based on Shipping point. For Example say, output type IFIB should be determined if Sh.pt is A and IFIT if sh.pt is B. This is controlled thru "Requirement" assigned to the output types in output det procedure.
The problem is, for a particular document IFIB appears though the sh.pt is B, Now i have to find out whether it is determined automatically or manually. I have checked the following
    1. The "manually changed" field is not flagged in the "further data" of this output type. I believe, if it is not ticked, then the output type is determined automatically and no manual change was carried out. Am I right?
    2. When i checked the "determination analysis", I find that the output type with the message "Output ignored (Requirement not fulfilled)". If the output was determined automatically, then "output xxx found" should appear right? When the analysis says it is ignored, then how come it can appear automatically?
I am confused over this contradictory findings. Plz tell me whether my assumptions stated above are right. Kindly suggest me alternative ways to find out whether it is determined automatically or manually? If it is determined automatically, on what conditions?
    Thanks in advance
    Suresh

    Hi Suresh,
In an output determination, it may tell  u that the output type is ignored because of un-fulfilled requirement, but it will still automatically appear in Header-> output, but u need to check the actuall processing status, whether is 0,1, or 2. I assume for your case it will be 0 (not processed, meant for manual processing instead), 1 (processed) and 2 (error occurred).
Another thing which is essential is that, in order to let the system successfully fulfill your determination criteria, u need to assign output type with correct access sequence, for example 1 access sequence by sales org/billing type for output, another 1 is by sales org/shipping point. Or u can simply create 1 access sequence with 2 condition tables.
After that u need to create condition record for each output type, u do this in t-code VV31.
By rite, during transaction (issue output), system will be able to search for those condition record and output type will be automatically appear, providing if there is any rquirement routine in your output det. proc (appl = V3) returns TRUE.
    Cheers,
    Benny Andre

  • Payment term determination on billing document

How are the payment terms determined for a biling document?
In creating a billing document, the payment terms are NOT copied from the sales order as expected or even from the payer partner. They are copied from the sold to partner.
Where is this done in configuration? If not configuration, where else would this be set?
    Thanks,

    Hello,
Payment terms in the Billing document are copied from Sales order and to Sales order it will be determined from the Customer Payer,
If the Payment terms Field in the customer Payer is not maintained then it will determined it from the Sold to Customer.
In your case check whether the Payment terms in the Payer is maintained or not, If not then it would have fetched from the SOLD to Customer.

  • Tax code determination in billing documents

    Hi,
In the intercompany billing document, system has picked tax condition type(MWAS) value as 19 percentage with condition records.
We have not maintained any condition records for that tax condition type. We have maintained that vale only in tax code settings under one country.
How system is picking that tax vale in to billing documents with reference to condition type.
    Regards
    Lakshmikanth

Tax rates are maintained in tax codes via transaction code FTXP. All tax condition elements are maintained via OBYZ (OBQ1 for tax condition type, OBQ2 for access sequence, and OBQ3 for tax procedure). And each country is asssigned a tax procedure via OBBG. In your case, MWAS must exist in OBQ1 and the corresponding tax procedure, the rate of MWAS must have been entered in the tax code of output tax type.  The SD condition types with condition category D and with the account key for tax (such as MWS) in the SD pricing procedure are used to determine the tax code during document processing.
To find out how this tax code is captured, on the condition tab in the billing document, click on the Analysis and locate the SD condition type(s) for output tax, identify which record is read. Then on VK13, enter this condition type and specify other selections, the condition records for tax code determination appear.

  • How to rerun the costing in the Billing document.

    Hi,
I am working for an client who belongs to Cable Industry, we are capturing the costing in the sales order and pricing is based on the costing.
We are capturing the pricing in Ek02, on this we are adding the profit margin.
As Copper price is always changes in some cases client want to charge more or less the difference amount at the time of creating the invoice. The sales order may partially delivered and billed. In this case also client want to change the price.
How can we incorporate the change of copper price in the billing document as i cannot run the costing once again in the sales order for the balanced quantity, and client want this calculation to be done by system itself during billing. And SAP has not given any provision to run the costing during billing document.
Kinldy suggest how to proceed further.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kumar.

    Hi,
My client belong to cable industry, so copper becomes the major rawmaterial which changes daily.
So, sometimes based on the customer request if the invoicing is done after 3 months from the date of sales order
then we  need to update the price at the time of invoicing.
In sales order we are running the costing and using the variant configuration Module in th project.
And after production at the time of invoicing client is asking to put the changed prices (Ex. Copper, GI Wire and PVC component) for which prices will be announced by the LME.
So, kindly suggest me how to re run the costing in the billing or is there any alternative to define separate condition types for Copper, GI Wire etc.
    Awaiting for your reply,
    Thanks & Regards,
    Tilak.

  • Partner determination in Billing Document

    Hi,
Request your input to resolve the following issue :
This is a case delivery from projects where delivery doc has only ship-to-party (WE), which is manually entered during delivery creation in [CNS0]. Originally  ship-to-party & sold-to-party are different. While billing the ship-to-party in the delivery document is also created as sold-to-party (AG). Actually the sold-to-party in the sales order is required to be put in the billing document.
I am unable to find a solution to get sold-to-party from sales order to billing document, so have used a BADI to put the same in delivery document instead. But while creating the VF01, I get error as "No master record exists for vendor WE".
Request you all to give me an immediate solution.
    Regards,
    Rajesh Mohapatra

    Hi,
Check whether ship to party number is assigned to  in partner function of sold to party which you are looking
means SP1-- consists partner function --Sp1,SH1 and SH2
                 SP2- consists-- Sp2, SH2

  • Fix custom cost in the billing document.

The client wants to add a fix custom cost for some of their customers in the invoice. Normally in the SAP system one delivery document and one invoice is created per purchase order number of the customer entered in sales order. Purchase order number is a splitting criteria. But several sales order items can be shipped at once . In the system for 5 different sales orders of the same customer 5 different delivery documents and 5 different invoices are created but they want to combine them and print one invoice and in the invoice they want to include the fix custom cost for the specific customer. Now they combine several sales orders of the same customer in one delivery note and invoice manually in excel without printing from SAP. How can they add fix price in the invoice and combine these 5 different invoices in one invoice when printing?

In the system for 5 different sales orders of the same
customer 5 different delivery documents and 5 different
invoices are created but they want to combine
         them and print one invoice
Go to copy control VTFL, select your delivery type and billing type and click on magnifying lens on top left.  There maintain as follows:-
    Copying requirements:::::: 003
    Determ.export data::::::::::blank
    Assignment Number::::::::blank
Next select your item category there and maintain the following routines
    Copying requirements:::::004
    Data VBRK/VBRP::::::::::007
Apart from the above, while combining 5 deliveries to one invoice, you should also ensure that following are unique in all preceding documents
    a)  Payer
    b)  Inco Term
    c)  Payment Term
    d)  Account Assignment Group
    e)  Actual GI Date
    f)   Billing Date
    g)  Exchange Rate in case of exports
How can they add fix price in the invoice
Go to V/06, create a header condition type without any access sequence.  While creating billing, key in manually this condition type and value.

  • VAT # determination in Billing Document w/ rules

    Hi experts,
WE have made settings SD> Basic Func> Taxes-->VAT determination = BLANK
In sales order I have a sold to 100, Payer 101, Ship to 102. All 3 are different.
100 and 101 (Soldto & Payer 's country is GB)
    102 (Shipto's)Country is France
When I create invoice with above partners & settings the VAT # from Ship to is determined. SAP's help page shows that if its balnk then rule # 1 / 2/ 3 will be used. I think in this scenario rule # 1 is applicable therefore expect Payers VAT # to be determined.
Can anyone shed light on this ? How it works etc etc..
    Thanks !
    Regards,
    Ron
    VBRK-STCEG, VAT determination, SAP

    Hi,
Generally VAT registration number is given by local Tax Authorities to any customer or compnay to do business. And this VAT no. will be relfected in the Invoice outputs as well as some tax reports which will be sent to tax authorities periodically.
As per regulations without VAT no. nobody can do any purchases or sales. So, if any copany registered to do so, then they will be allotted a Unique no. called VAT no.
Where as Taxes in SAP are maintained based on the Customer, Destination country, departure country etc. So, when we change the VAT no. it will not have any impact in the Tax Percentage. But the changed VAT no. will reflect in the concerned Tax reports or outputs.
    Hope this is clear.
    Thanks
    Praveen
