VS2008 CR10 or CR11 control not showing in toolbox

Hi all,
I'm very urgently writing an invoice program for one of our exernal sites, however, I have an invoice report already made in CR that I'd like to be able to use from VS2008 C#.
For some reason the Repoert Viewer control is not in the toolbox. I have tried to add it, but in the list only the CR ActiveX object shows up - if I use that, then it has a width and height of 0 and is unusable. I assume this is the wrong control.
I have reinstalled CR11, and CR10 twice and VS 2008 twice - it still refuses to show.
How can I use the product that we have shelled out money for?
I tried to phone BO support but was told it was going to cost me 130 quid.

My colleague is also using this version on VS2008 and the control is on his toolbox and works fine, just not on mine for some reason.
Not supported. Do not do this. Do not use it. You will run into issues sooner or later. Nothing I can do for you until you are on a supported version of CR for .NET 2008.

Skin Control not showing

Hi, I'm using Flash 8, producing and swf file and inserting
on the website. Seems to play just fine but I can't see the
transparent control over the movie. Tried right clicking and it
does not appear. Is is just not finding the skin. I am rendering it
with the skin from an avi file. It shows up in Flash just perfectly

Volume control not showing

In Flash CS3 I am creating an SWF for a live stream. I have
added a player control bar ( Play, pause, volume control etc) but
when I publish the SWF it does not show up. I want to be able to
mute my Flash player.

I assume the switch on the side of the phone is in the proper position. In settings/sound make sure the slider is at max. Turn on Change with buttons in settings/sound. In settings/music make sure you have volume limit turned off or if it is on check to see hwat limit you have set so it is not too low

Flash Controls Not Showing On Web Page

Hi-
Been beating my head lately using Flash Pro 8 and DW 8.02.
Here is the latest difficulty:
Created a Flash video file in Premiere Elements 4
Imported the .flv Flash video file into Flash 8 using import
video
Added an external skin to the video
Saved Flash .fla file
Exported movie in .swf format
I can open the .swf file in Flash Player 8 and it works fine.
I can also use the Publish setting in Flash to export the necessary
files as well as the HTML file. When viewed in either Firefox or IE
it plays correctly and the player controls are present. However, if
I create a new page in DW8 and then Insert > Media > Flash,
point it to the .swf file and then view it in Firefox or IE I can
only see the .flv Flash video file and none of the controls/skin
that should be there. I know the controls/skin are actually present
because I can browse directly to the .swf file and it displays
works properly. I can also use the publish settings from Flash to
create the HTML page and it works correctly as well. It is only
when the page is generated by DW8 that I get this problem. I have
looked at the code created by DW8 and cannot find any reference to
the .swf file for the movie controls/skin. Any idea why DW8 would
only be placing the Flash video .flv file on the page and not
writing the code to place the entire Flash movie .swf on the page?
I have tried restarting/rebooting, created a new "clean" test page
with only the Flash movie on it and it is always the same. The
other thing that is weird is I did not select Autoplay or Loop in
the DW8 settings nor in Flash 8, yet when I preview the page
created by DW8 in a browser, piece of the Flash movie I can see
(the Flash video part) autoplays and loops!
Again, any help is appreciated.

Update- This is what I have discovered while playing around
with the page and Flash file:
If I create the .swf files for the movie and skin and then
save them to the same directory as the .Flash video file and then
view the .swf file everything works fine.
If I then create a web page using DW8 and insert the Flash
into the page and save the web page to the exact same directory as
all the other files and then view the web page in a browser, it
works fine. However, if I create a new web page in DW8, save it to
any other directory other than the one where the .swf and .flv
files are located and then view the page in a browser only the .flv
Flash video portion of the movie will display in the browser--the
controls are missing. However, if I browse directly to the .swf
file and avoid going through the DW8 generated web page the Flash
movie displays properly with the controls in the correct location.
My question then is why will DW8 not show the Flash movie with
controls if the page is located in higher level directory than the
.swf and .flv files and yet browsing directly to the .swf file with
my browser works just fine? I have checked the path to the .swf
file in the DW8 source code and it is pointing to the correct
directory location. This is so strange--why will it display one way
and not the other? Any ideas?

Adobe Reader Control not showing in COM tab of Toolbox Items in Visual Studio

This is my first experience to work on C# and Visual Studio. I have a task to show PDF document on a window form. After reading tutorials and following some examples I have decided to add the 'Adobe Reader Control' in my toolbox and use that control on my form. The problem is that I cannot able to add that control on my toolbox because "it is not showing in COM tab of toolbox items. To clarify just see the red lined component in image that is NOT showing on my component list".
I have Adobe Reader 11 installed on my machine.
I am using Visual Studio 2005.
I am using Windows 7 64-bit OS.
In my project I have changed the architecture from 'Any CPU' to 'x86'
Any ideas what can be the issue, why it is not coming on the list?
This is my first post on this forum. Do point me out if i miss any forum guidelines.

I have the same problem! I have photoshop cc2014 (which we own) and the object library shows, but not for cs 5.1 (30 day trial).
Does registering unlock something?

Movie Controls Not Showing

Hello Everyone,
Here is the problem: I have posted movies to my web page, but the fast forward & reverse buttons at the bottom right of the movie are not showing up. I originally had kioskmode set to on, but have removed it since. I also tried exporting the movie with internet streaming-fast start enabled.
Any suggestions?

Found out that CSS was calling out a div width smaller than the movie width - reset to movie width fixed problem.

MSI Z68A-GD80-G3 sata port 7 marvell controlled not showing in BIOS

My spec is..Antec 1200 case. MSI Z68A-GD80-G3 board . i7 -2700K @4.1 GHZ. GTX 580 OC twin FrozR II 1536 Mb Graphics.Corsair Vengeance 16 GB PC3-12800C9 1600MHz RAM. Cooler Master Hyper 212+ CPU cooler. Crucial SSD M4 128 GB SATA 6Gb/s main Hard drive.Crucial SSD M4 128GB hard drive. 500 GB HDD. Crucial SSD M4 60GB.1200W PSU.
My 3rd 60 GB SSD drive had to be plugged in sata 7..I reformatted It in windows and it is working. It does still not show up on BIOS.
I could not find my install disc. I couldnt find any marvell drivers in the download section for my board?
Has windows found them? why no show in BIOS?

I may have found correct drivers now SATA 7 drive is showing up. seems to be running . my ssds running off SATA 1 and 2 are getting a AS SSD bench mark score of 710 and 780. The SATA 7 one is scoring at 340 so it is not working like the first x2 SDD's.

Custom SSIS Data Flow Component Not Showing in Toolbox or GAC

Hello - I have created a very simple data flow component for SSIS (Actually, I am following this example: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=1C2A7DD2-3EC3-4641-9407-A5A337BEA7D3&displaylang=en).
However, when I register the DLL to the GAC, I am unable to find the assembly in C:\Windows\Assembly - even though the GACUTIL says "Assembly Registered Successfully". Furthermore, after copying the DLL to the PipelineComponents folder for SSIS
(C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\PipelineComponents), it does not show in the "Choose Items . . ." dialog box of SSIS.
I am running SQL Server 2008 Dev edition, Visual Studio 2010 with .NET 4.0, and Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit edition. Any assistance/thoughts would be appreciated.

I was struggling with exactly the same problem yesterday.. created a component in VS 2010 (.NET 4.0), registered the component using GACUtil with no error, but not being able to find the component in the cache directory nor in the SSIS toolbox...
I spend several hour trying to find out whats going on. Then I tried to run the GACUtil from a dos batch file - and an error appeared saying that I am trying to register assebly .NET 4.0 on a computer that runs 3.5.. Then changed the target framework
in VS 2010 to 3.5, rebuild the project and voila- the component finally appeared in the toolbox list...
this is the batch i used to register assembly:
REM Unregister and re-register the assembly on the GAC
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.1\Bin\gacutil" /u ChangeCase
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.1\Bin\gacutil" /i "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\PipelineComponents\ChangeCase.dll"

this batch will show the list of assemblies in the GAC:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.1\Bin\gacutil" /l > gacListing.txt

Export button for crystalreportviewer control not showing ddl entries for..

we have a .net web application that was created using asp.net 1.1.
It displays crystal reports using the crystalreportviewer control.
Once the report is displayed, the user clicks on the export button and it looks just fine.
so everything is ok when it is run on the developer machine.
We start having issues when the application is deployed to a test server.
Here is the weird part: the site is running using asp.net 2.0 instead of 1.1. (not sure why, but they have their reasons)
First off, we tried creating the report and got the good ole "bobj is undefined". So I copied the crystalreportviewers folder into the site itself. I then updated the web.config the way it is described here (bottom):

That fixed the bobj, but now we have an issue with the export button.
when we click on the File Format drop down, the choices display at the bottom of the screen. So the user is unable to select a format. They are stuck using the preselcted "Crystal Reports (RPT)" entry.
A few other things visually...
-the main tool bar is white instead of being shaded grey
-the export dialog is white instead of being shaded grey
I'm wondering if we using the right version of the crystaldecisions dlls? We are using version 12.0.1100.0 of those dlls for this problem site. is it ok that the site is using asp.net 2.0? or does it HAVE to use 1.1?
bobj keeps haunting me in one way or the other.

The CR assemblies of version 12.0.1100.0 were specifically compiled to use framework 1.1. That is why you will also find those same assemblies of version 12.0.2000.0 - yup, you guessed it - compiled to use framework 2.x. Unfortunately, without an application configuration file, the latest compatible runtime version installed on the computer is loaded by default. So the app loads framework 2.0, but the CR assemblies are configured for framework 1.1
The way I see it, you have two options option;
1) install framework 1.1 on that computer. You will then have to create a configuration file that will direct your ap to load framework 1.1. For details on how to do this see the MS KBase [Configuring a COM Application for Side-By-Side Execution|http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/65y5x3xf(vs.71).aspx].
2) Compile your app to use framework 2.0 (e.g.; .NET 2005 or .NET 2008), thus loading CR assemblies of version 12.0.2000.0

Color Correction Effect Controls Not Showing Controls

The recent upgrade seemed to work flawlessly until I tried to go back to some color correction I had started earlier. In some cases, when I click on the Video Effects tab in the Color Correction workspace, my controls are there and working. For others, when I click on the Video Effects tab, there's simply nothing there. I have dragged effects back onto the clip and then gone back to the Effects tab, and still see nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? Any thoughts?

I have the same problem. I've tried removing all effects, adding more effects etc, but in the Effect Controls window all I get is the name of the clip highlighted in blue. I've also gone to Window and selected Effect Controls, but all this does is reveal or hide the Effect Controls tab. The Motion, Opacity etc controls are not there when I click on the tab. Anyone have any ideas how to get the Effect Controls back?

Ad Control not showing above Unity3d window even if draw order is adjusted

I am using Unity3d and Visual Studio to release a simple game. I already have a paid version released and working great. I am trying to make an ad supported version with little luck.
I added in the Ad Control item into design view and attempted to adjust the Unity window so that it sits below where the ad banner will sit. I have even tried to adjust the Ad Control draw order to various numbers higher than 0 (not sure if that should
help or not).
When the game starts, there is a "flash" of a red outline where the ad should be, but then it disappears, presumably behind the Unity window. This area is also not pressable, it blocks the presses on my game where the ad should be.
Is this something to do with the Unity object window parameters, or is there something else I may have to do to get my ads to work?

Enterprise Manager Database Control not showing all rows

Hello,
I populated a DB through SQL Developer but when I access the DB control of EM and hit "view data" for the correspondant table, only few of the rows are shown.
Any idea why and HOW I can get it to show all the data I inserted?

There could be few reasons as follows.
1. You could have filter set in Sql Developer - Try the same from a sqlplus.
2. you can have a VPD policy on the table - Check for policies on that table using dba_policies.
3. Also try to analyze the table and check for num_rows from dba_tables. That will tell you exactly how many rows you have irrespective of tool, policy, etc etc.

Flash Video Controls Not Showing in Page

Have DWCS3 on XP
I have a flash video file that was created with controls.
There seems to be a checkbox for controls in
Dreamweaver...BUT...when I play the video locally or on the
server...the controls are absent.
Did a search...What am I missing

Create Data Control not showing in EJB Session Bean context menu

Hi All,
I've been studying the new Oracle Application Development Framework Tutorial for 10g Release 3 (10.1.3). When I get to page 2-16 (page 31 of the PDF doc) it says to create ADF Data Control. Specifically is says " In the Applications Navigator, right-click the SRPublicFacadeBean.java node and choose Create Data Control from the context menu."
But my context menu doesnt have the Create Data Control option. I double checked that I didn't miss a step in the tutorial. I'm sure it's something simple. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is there another way to create the Data Control for an EJB Session Bean?

Figured it out. I was having an extension issue and I had to turn off all of my extensions. Thus, turned on the ADF extension (duh!) and all was well.

Mission control not showing running apps properly

When I use the three finger swipe-up, it usually shows all my running apps as normal, but sometimes they all just appear on top of each other which isn't in any way helpful. Has anybody else experienced this?

Which appear on top of each other? All Applications, or all windows of an Application?
The latter is normal. Two-finger up swipe on an app should expand them a little so that you can see them and pick one.
