Vsm-adf.jar and vsm-bc4j.jar are same ??

I donwloaded the sample code for Vsm-adf.jar and vsm-bc4j.jar . But both looks similar.
Anybody got any clue
Please let me know

hi
The VSM application has been migrated from the earlier version of JDeveloper. This is made to work with the latest JDev 10g. It uses the adf libraries which are shipped along with JDev10g.

  • Tariff #, Commodity #,  HTS # and Schedule B # all are same.

    My understanding is  Tariff #, Commodity #,  HTS # and Schedule B # all are same.  Meaning, you apply and assign same 10 digit numbering scheme for the given parts.    When you import you call it HTS# or Tariff #. When you export the part # it is called  Commodity # or
    Schedule B #.
    Please correct my understanding.

    Hi Siva,
    The Harmonized System (HS) u2013 HS Codes
    The World Customs Organization (WCO) developed the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System, to describe products for customs purposes. HS codes are descriptions of products specific to 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 digit levels. The Harmonized System is recognized in 179 countries, and trade based on its classifications represents 98 percent of world trade.
    Schedule B Commodity Codes u2013 Schedule B numbers
    Schedule B commodity codes are 10-digit numeric codes used to identify products that are exported from the U.S. to other countries. They are similar to 10-digit Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) codes (the import codes) in that the groups are the same up to the 6-digit level.

  • Does root and CA certificate both are same?

    Hi All,
    Can anyone help us in understanding root and ca cet are same?
    keytool -genkey -alias kumar-keyalg RSA -keystore keystore.jks(created keystore)
    keytool -certreq -alias "kumar" -keystore keystore.jks -file domain.csr(Created CSR)
    keytool -import -trustcacerts -kumar -file Thawte.crt -keystore keystore.jks
    Afte this we are facing an error "Failed to establish chain from reply"
    Next i m goint to do this
    keytool -import -trustcacerts -alias kumar -file mytrustedcert.crt -keystore keystore.jks
    Please help me why i am getting error
    Please check the alias clearly( do we need to use the only same)
    Regards
    vasu

    Hi Vasu,
    You need to use same alias while creating private key in keystore(keytool -genkey), creating a certificate request(keytool -certreq) and importing the signed certificate (sent by CA) (keytool -import) to keystore.
    According to you if we create a differerent alias while importing a CA and signed cer(ex: alias a for CA cert and alias b for signed cert) then which alias will be providing at host tp..?You should use alias b (signed cert alias or private key alias)
    if they has given only one cert then wat we will share with trading partnes?You should share the public cert of your corresponding private key.
    we submitted csr to out cert team and they has given only one cert which includes CA, is this enough or do we need to ask for other certificate also?Your cert team should provide you one signed certificate and one (or two) CA certificates. You should first import CA certs (root and intermediate CA) and then import the signed CSR.

    Hi
    Pls clarify my points
    Services for objects and GOS(Generic object service) are both same or different?
    To my understanding it looks like different as follows
    -Service for objects is single icon to click for attachment, can be used only from front end execution.
    -GOS is a toolbar kind of icon, have collection of menu inside, can be used for background execution also.
    Both functions are different? Pls confirm.

  • Changing number range so that LIV and AP documnet numbers are same

    Hi Experts,
    Our client wants that LIV and AP document number should be same. As documents are already being created in production environment.
    Please advise :
    If it is ok to change number range at this stage as LIV and AP documents are already created in production environment.
    If yes then what are the things i should take care off before changing the number ranges.
    Regards,
    Kamal

    Not advisable to change the document number range at this stage, bcz there are some document which has already been posted in production environment.
    LIV # is generated by MM (when you post the invoice) which automatically generates AP document (as follow on doc) internally.
    AP always trace the AP document # and not LIV.
    For more details please read the nodes in SPRO
    MM>LIV>incoming invoice>Number assignment
    You need to be very cautious before doing this.

  • ADF jars killing my commandLink(s)

    I am trying to incorporate Oracle's ADF into my project, but, I ran across a strange problem. To reproduce this problem all I had to do was copy the adf (EA8) jar files into my lib directory. I DO NOT have so much as a taglib callout in any of my pages - yet, when the jar files are in my lib directory, my h:commandLink tags, nested in a dataTable tag, are rendered useless.
    Here is my code:
    <h:dataTable rendered="#{userReport.hasviews}" value="#{userReport.views}" var="e">
    <h:column>
    <f:facet name="header">
    <h:outputText value="View Name"/>
    </f:facet>
    <h:commandLink action="#{viewHandler.editview}" value="#{e.name}"/>
    </h:column>
    </h:dataTable>
    When the ADF jars are NOT in my lib directory, this is rendered as:
    <tr>
    <td><a href="# onclick="document.forms['MyViewsview:_id35'['MyViewsview:_id35:_idcl'].value='MyViewsview:_id35:_id36:1:_id39'; document.forms['MyViewsview:_id35'].submit(); return false;">New MyView</a></td>
    <td>1.3</td>
    <td>9/4/04</td>
    <td>10/16/04</td>
    </tr>
    However, after copying the jars to the lib directory, it is rendered as:
    <tr>
    <td><a id="MyViewsview:_id35:_id36:1:_id39" name="MyViewsview:_id35:_id36:1:_id39" onclick="submitForm('MyViewsview:_id35',1,{event:'MyViewsview:_id35:_id36:1:_id39',source:'MyViewsview:_id35:_id36:1:_id39'});return false;" href="#" class="OraLink">New MyView</a></td>
    <td>1.3</td>
    <td>9/4/04</td>
    <td>10/16/04</td>
    </tr>
    The net result is that when I select (click on) the link, I get nothing - no page navigation...
    So, my questions are:
    1) why would just copying the jars to the lib directory cause this change?
    2) how do I get around this, so that I can use ADF successfully?
    As always, any help is greatly appreciated!!!

    Adam -
    The Commonea8.js is being included by default. The problem seems to be in hidden fields being generated by (I suppose) adf framework. I should mention that this does not occur on all my h:commandLink tags. Others work just fine. Perhaps it has something to do with being nested within a dataTable...
    At any rate, before showing the errors and the lines causing the errors, a little explanation may be necessary. This page is built from two jsp:include pages. One is name login, which is not being rendered (due to render="false") and the other named dataview (which is being rendered).
    So, the js errors (from the console) are:
    Error: missing ( before formal parameters
    Source File: http://localhost:8084/myapp/data.faces
    Line: 241, Column: 15
    Source Code:
    function login:id2Validater(form){return true;}
    Error: missing ; before statement
    Source File: http://localhost:8084/myapp/data.faces
    Line: 289, Column: 21
    Source Code:
    var resetdataview:id35Names=["event","source"];
    Error: missing ( before formal parameters
    Source File: http://localhost:8084/myapp/data.faces
    Line: 289, Column: 21
    Source Code:
    function dataview:id35Validater(form){return true;}
    The (2) offending lines (in the rendered HTML) are:
    line 241:
    <input type="hidden" name="oracle.adf.faces.FORM" value="login:_id2"><span id="_login:_id2_Postscript"><script>function login:id2Validater(form){return true;}</script></span><script>_submitFormCheck();</script></form></td>
    line 289 (source of two errors):
    <input type="hidden" name="oracle.adf.faces.FORM" value="dataview:_id35"><span id="_dataview:_id35_Postscript"><input type="hidden" name="event"><input type="hidden" name="source"><script>var resetdataview:id35Names=["event","source"];</script><script>function dataview:id35Validater(form){return true;}</script></span><script>_submitFormCheck();</script></form></td>
    Hope this helps... Just out of curiosity, why would Oracle "pull in" the default RenderKit instead of keeping their's separate? (just wondering)
    Thanks, again....

  • SAP WM Preallocated Stock Not bypassing GR and Putaway in GI Area

    Hi,
    I have maintained the following to bypass the put away into GI Area in ECC 6.0
    1. Preallocated Stock maintained for the material in the Preallocated stock Table V_T310 using LT51.
    2. Movement type 101 is set to consider the preallocated stock.
    I created the Put away TO and the preallocated button is enabled and the I could calculate the selected quantity. However the put away is going to the final destination bin. It is not bypassing the normal put away bin and goes to the GI area even though I have an open reservation for the same material.
    The GR and GI are working as per our put away and picking strategy.
    The actual quantity is updated for each GR. As soon as the Target quantity and the Actual quantity are same, then the preallocated stock table record for the material is deleted.
    But our requirement is to bypass the normal put away destination bin and move GR quantity to GI Qty.
    Am I missing any settings? Has anyone used this functionality?
    Your input will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    SP0526

    Subbu,
    Please neglect my previous post, no need for setting the indicator for GI WM-movement type.
    Your problem is not clear.
    - First you say that the quantity goes from GR interim storage type directly to GI interim storage type (e.g. from 902 to 911)
    - After that you say that you don't want to putaway the goods into the nromal storage bin but directly to the GI interim storage type
    So, first you say your requirement is fulfilled then you say you want to fulfill your requirement.
    Please clarify this. (maybe I just can't understand what you want)
    As per your description your system is working properly.
    Regards,
    Csaba

    Hi,
    Please check your Timezone using STZAC see how much time difference you are getting.
    See to that your OS Level timezone and SAP Server timezone are same.

    Solution: don't use a runtime expression for the id attribute.
    The id attribute is used to declare
    - an attribute in scope

    These are only available for the duration of the <logic:iterate> tag
    The "id" is only used in your programming. You don't need to make it dynamic.

  • Oracle ADF Model and BC4J api reference in JDev 10.1.3.03

    Hi
    Where I can find Oracle ADF Model and Business Components API Reference in JDev 10.1.3.03? Maybe it's not ready yet?

    I don't know how up-to-date they are, but the javadoc files are all archived into jar files in the JDeveloper installation at: <jdev-install-dir>\jdev\doc\ohj. Most of the business component interfaces and classes are covered in the bc4jjavadoc.jar. You can either open the index.html file of the jar in JDeveloper and move through the links in the preview pane, or use the jar utility (or other unzipping util) to extract the jar file into your directory structure and then access the html files directly.

  • Icons in JAR are downloaded but doesn't show up in application

    I've tried following all the advice in the Deploying icons on the web guide, but there's just something not quite right.
    What goes right:
    From java console: "Downloading http://oiatst01.tdk.dk:7778/forms90images/kassimages.jar to JAR cache"
    And I can see the file in the Oracle Jar Cache. I can also type in the url and get the kassimages.jar file. It's there and it's accessible.
    That also means the virtual folder /forms90images/ works properly:
    Alias /forms90images/ "E:\KASSForms\gifer/"
    Registry.dat / default.dat has:
    default.icons.iconpath=/forms90images/
    default.icons.iconextension=gif
    In the HTML substitutions are made correctly:
    <PARAM NAME="imageBase" VALUE="codeBase">
    and
    <EMBED ....imageBase="codeBase" ...>
    formsweb.cfg has:
    archive_jini=f90all_jinit.jar,/forms90images/kassimages.jar
    archive_ie=f90all.cab,/forms90images/kassimages.jar
    archive=f90all.jar,/forms90images/kassimages.jar
    # 3) Values for the Forms applet parameters:
    serverURL=/forms90/l90servlet
    codebase=/forms90/java
    imageBase=codeBase
    Errors are:
    ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/logs/error_log: "File does not exist: e:/kassforms/gifer/last.gif"
    It's as if it's not using the JAR file, and the tricky thing is that if I place the actual "last.gif" file inside the folder e:/kassforms... it shows up! Now, it isn't even supposed to do that as imagebase=codebase. It's not supposed to even LOOK at the files.

    If I change the line:
    codebase=/forms90/java
    to:
    codebase=/forms90images/
    Then my iAS stops working, and I guess it's because the other jars can't be found now (jinit for example). Maybe it uses the /forms90/java path for both. It kinda seems that I need a separate instruction that tells the imageBase parameter where to look in the file system. I don't know how to do that?!
    Maybe it's simply impossible to locate the image jar file anywhere else but in the standard directory where the other jars are located?

  • What Jars are being used

    I have a big problem with the number of jars currently being used within my application.
    Is there a way of working out what jars are needed and which are not??
    Regards
    Jai

    I am interested in this as well. I have "jpa.jar" which I removed from my Eclipse build path and no errors. But it may have interfaces/classes that are referenced from other JARs in my WAR. How do I determine if any types in jpa.jar are being currently used so I can determine if it needs to be included in the WAR build or not?
    I tried [http://depfind.sourceforge.net/|http://depfind.sourceforge.net/] but it finds which JAR the type is in. I need to find references to a class from another class and tell me which JAR that's referenced. thx.

    I'm wondering if any of you could help me. I am looking for a method or tool that helps to find what library jars are being used within an application to try and help me erradicate unneccesary files since I find myself in a scenario similar to below. . .
    Obviously over time an application grows and you may being in a lot of libraries to provide functionality as you go. You may then find a better way of doing something or that part of code may be redundant, so the referencing class is removed, BUT the jar isn't removed from the application at the same time.
    Several years down the line your lib directory looks like it contains nearly every jar created sits in there, and you application is now being shipped out on DVD to cope with all the libraries!
    So, is there a tool or way (except removing them to see it anything breaks!) to check what jars are actually being referenced within an application?
    Any help would be appreciated,
    Cheers,

    Start java with the -verbose option and grep the output for lines starting with "[Opened". This will give you a list of all opened jar files.
    Bear in mind, that classes are loaded lazy, that is: only when they are referenced for the first time.
