to check the Plate number(VTTK-EXTI1) field if it is maintained in the customize table .
question: is there any user exit that will check the input PLate number ?

  • Stop processing user exit

    Hi,
    I am using EXIT_SAPLCOIH_009 which gets triggerred at the time of saving a work order in IW32. In this exit, I have coded to generate a popup box at the time of saving. If the user presse the cancel button, the control has to go to back to the work order screen rather than saving the work order. Can somebody tell me how i can stop the order from being saved

    Field "Z001" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement . . . . . . . . . .

  • User-Exit for Shipment VT01N

    Hello Everybody,
       Want some help from you as to what is the "Exit" which will help me doing some manipulation after we press Enter after the First Screen . I am not talking about Saving Data or Stuff . Specifically i want to fill the "Forwarding Agent" and "Route" field right after the User selects the "Shipment Type" on the first Screen , for the Transaction VT01N .
        If User-Exits are not there , is there any BADI ??? Please help.
    Please keep in mind , i want the Exit which will be hit right after the First Screen in VT01N.

    Dear all,
    I'm looking for an user exit that will be actived during order save. However, it seems most exits just for check, I can not change any data.
    The requirement is: if user save certain order, then field function area 'CAUFVD-FUNC_AREA' is filled automatically. This fiels in the order header.

    an example of user exit
    In case of Inbound DELINS IDOC (830 type) once there was a requirement of taking the “Target *** Qty required” and the “Target *** Date” for a specific customer who was not sending “*** Qty Received” by him.
    So for that specific customer we used the search term and added the same in the “Data 4” field of the IDOC under segment E1EDK09.
    There was one user exit available in IDOC_INPUT_DELINS_START Function module of SAP. We triggered this logic by the search term of customer and reached the user exit where we had made some code changes. (User Exits are used to make code changes when we are running standard programs or reports or function modules). With this we were able to reach the desired point of calculating “*** Issued” and then find out the difference from “Target *** Qty” and get “*** Qty Received” for the scheduling agreement. We did not copy the standard function module into Z . Instead the same was done using a user exit.

    If you require a field that is not in KOMG, it means that it is not in KOMK or KOMP. This means that the field you require cannot be used in pricing because there is no communication of this field from the transaction to the pricing procedure via the communication structures.
    To use a field not defined in the field catalog, you need to add this field to KOMK or KOMP structures, and then write the ABAP code to transfer the data in the field from the transaction tables to the communication structure. Follow these steps:

    If you want more selection of user exits you goto transaction SMOD and input V56* and then press F4,so that you can see all the user exits can be used for shipment or transportation purpose...

  • To find out appropriate user exit/ badi for transaction VT01n

       I have the following requirement.
    Cass shipment type (VTTK-ADD03) field needs to be required and should be automatically populated upon creation of the shipment document.  The rules for populating the value (SO, ST, PO and RA) are as follows:
    If any of the orders on the shipment are customer order types, then the CASS shipment type should be a SO,
    If all of the orders are STO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "ST",
    If all of the orders are PO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "PO" , and
    If all of the orders are customer return orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "RA".
    I have to find out proper user exit / badi to do this.I have tried with many userexit but it won't work.

    User Exits in Transportation
    In Transportation, there are enhancements that you can use with transaction CMOD.
    For a detailed description of the individual enhancements, see the documentation on the individual enhancements or function modules in transaction SMOD.
    You can display all enhancements that are available for the area of transportation by choosing F4 in the Enhancement field. Enter V56* in the Enhancement field and choose Execute. Enter V54* to get a list of all enhancements for the area of shipment cost processing.
    Business Add-Ins in the transports
    Business add-ins (BADIs) are predefined user exits. They enable businesses, partners, and customers to add additional softward to the SAP source code. The linkup of SAP's New Dimension Products, such as APO and BW, to the standard system is thus possible.
    Customer-specific functions can be executed before the save time and after the database update.
    The following methods are available for the BADI with the definition name 'BADI_LE_SHIPMENT':
    AT_SAVE: BADI is called up at the time of the save. Checks and return to dialog are possible.
    BEFORE:_UPDATE: BADI is called up right before the data is saved to the database, that is, when all the data is available (for example, internal ly assigned shipment number).
    IN_UPDATE: BADI is called up after the database update.
    Standard Settings
    Creating a BADI method:
    Call up transaction SE19. Enter a name of your choice. Choose "create" and in the dialog box enter the definition name 'BADI_LE_SHIPMENT'. Afterwards, enter a short text for implementation. Save the BADI.
    On the tab page 'Interface', choose the method for implementation by double-clicking on it. Now you can enter your customer-specific program code. Save and activate the code. You can acess the transmission parameters entered in the BADI definition. With the method ***_AT_SAVE you can initiate the exception ERROR_WITH_MESSAGE (description 'An error message has occurred' ) if you wish to return to the dialog.
    Afterwards, go to the heading and activate the interface.

  • User exit/BADI for VT01n transaction

    While creating the shipment through the transaction VT01n, the user selects shipment type manually. Its possible that user can make a mistake & will not select the correct shipment type. So I've ti implement a validation control in it to make sure that if the ship-to-party start with XX then the shipment type has to be ZSTO & if not starting with XX then the shipment type has to be 0001. This thing will be checked in the shipment overview screen. If anyone has worked on it or can help me, please help me with the exit/BADi name with the maximum details. If anyone has already worked on it, please provide me the coding.

  • To find out user exit/ badi for the VT01n transaction triggered in Save

    Hi Friends,
              I have the following requirement and for this appropriate user exit/ badi should be needed which will trigger during saving of the shipment.
    Cass shipment type (VTTK-ADD03) field needs to be required and should be automatically populated upon creation of the shipment document.  The rules for populating the value (SO, ST, PO and RA) are as follows:
    If any of the orders on the shipment are customer order types, then the CASS shipment type should be a SO,
    If all of the orders are STO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "ST",
    If all of the orders are PO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "PO" , and
    If all of the orders are customer return orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "RA".
    I have tried with the 3 badi available and 7 to 8 user exit, but it won't work.

  • User exit/BADI for condition type in shipment costing

    Hi! Does anyone know of any user exit or BADI or function module we can use to populate a value to a custom condition type we have created for shipment costing? We want to calculate the customs duty charges based on the purchase price of the item in the PO. As such, we need to go extract this information on the PO and populate it on the condition type.
    Appreciate any help on this.

    You should try to control it while transaction VA02 then. I think the user exit should be MV45AFZZ, u plz check in the list of user exits - SPRO-IMG- Sales and Distribution- System Modifications- User Exits and you will have all specific user exits used during various SD processes there.
    And then u might want to issue a hard error when some one changes or tries to change the Delivery date- can use a message number according to the application(for ex if its sales then Message class is V1). And then get that message number and code included in the particular user exit.
    Else u can have a screen variant defined for a specific users profile which will not allow any changes to the particular field. creta evariant using SHDO- select ur specific needs- assign this screen variant to the tarnsaction code may be VA02.
