VTP and vlan propagation between 3560 and 3508

i have a 3508 directly attached to a 3560 via fiber. i create a vlan on the 3508 and an vtp domain with password and join the 3560 to the same vtp domain and password. other switches attached the 3508 get the updated vlan(s) through vtp advertisements, but the 3560 does not. i am running 11.2(8.2)SA6 on the 3508, and 12.2(20)SE1 on the 3560. if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this problem, i would love to hear them. i desperately need this vlan info to pass to the 3560 for easy ipt configuration.

well, i re-entered the vtp domain on the 3560 to make it identical to the 3508's domain (i had changed it in order to have another vtp domain at the other site--cant have one, ill have two). the vlan's propagated, but now traffic doesnt flow correctly. the 3560 is routing traffic on layer 3 and wont pass the traffic of that vlan to another router because that vlan is not terminated on the switch (it doesnt know the route).
ill look through the forums to see how to take out the layer 3 routing (i dont need it--it hampers my config) and possibly post again. but for now, this issue is solved but i dont know which one to give credit to.

Whenever SD revision takes place system issue similar document no. as that of invoice and tagged it with XBLNR as per standard process.
Now issue that if that invoice is reversed, subsequent SD also gets reversed.
So business requires to have separate document no. for SD revision document and detagged relationship between invoice and SD document no.
I have explored event R507, 0010, 0060 and R436 but couldn't find input structure where such separate document can be assigned.
So can you provide hint which can assist in issue resolution?

Copy and paste styles between objects and entire slides

Hi,
In Keynote 5 I was able to copy and paste styles between objects and even between entire slides.
cmd+alt+c on one object (like a circle) and all its details like shadows, colors and animations could be transferred to another object.
One could even do it with entire slides and transfer one animation style to all the other slides.
THAT DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE.
Does anybody else miss these features?
Or is it just me?

copy animation:   Format > Copy Animation
paste animation   Format > Paste Animation
     there are no keyboard short commands for these.
There are no tools to copy or paste transitions between slides, you could duplicate the slide then add the content.

Note 867678 - Proof of delivery (POD), delivery and billing document will help you to understand POD flow.
You have the tcode VLPODF/VLPODL/VLPODA, but perhaps they will not help you. So, as the before note suggests you, you can use the tables VBFA, LIKP, LIPS, VBRK, VBRP, TVPOD and TVPODG to do your own report.

I have a dmz on gigabitEthernet2 ip 192.168.100.254
I need to pass port 443 from outside to dmz ip 192.168.100.80 and open port 1433 from 192.168.100.80 to the inside network.
I believe this will work for port 443:

Hi Vibor. Apologies if my comment was misunderstood. What I meant to say was that the security level of the dmz interface should probably be less than 100.
And therefore traffic could be controlled between DMZ and inside networks.
As per thr security level on the DMZ interface. ....... that command is correct. :-)

1KEK and 1KEI Difference between FI and PCA KE5U

Hello All,
We have a difference between our FI and PCA and that is shown when we run the Transaction KE5U.
we have a calendar year with 4 special periods as our fiscal year and 12 2010 was the last normal period
The business made some postings in period 13 during their year end close.
These postings in periof 13 2010 are not shown in PCA.
I have tried the following
Ran 1KEK and 1KEI for period 13 => System response: You cannot run these transactions for special periods
Ran 1KEK and 1KEI for Period 12 => The difference still exist.
I dont think we can open period 12 2010 again as the fiscal year 2010 is closed.
Is there a different way to run these transactions and reconcile the balance?

We figured it out.
we had to perform the following steps in sequence to resolve the issue
1KEK and 1KEH should be run periodically, every time we run the previous month we have to run it for all the proceesing months
1. Ran 1KEH and 1KEK for Dec 2010 => this will transfer all the postings made in the special periods of 2010
2. PCA balance carry forward 2KES
3. 1KEH and 1KEK for Jan 2011 and Feb 2011 in sequence.

Errors when saving contacts locally and syncing them between MacBook and iCloud

Last night I detected that the synchronisation of contacts between my MacBookPro (Yosemite, 13" Retina, late 2013) and iCloud is no longer working. Sync between iCloud and iOS devices (with iOS 8.1) works fine.
The problem effects the exchange of information from MBP to iCloud as well as the other way around. However, the issues are slightly different.
No matter what changes (changing existing contacts, creating new ones or creating/changing groups) I do directly in iCloud (which I usually don't do – I was just testing), none of them get synced to my MBP (though they do sync to all iOS devices).
If I do work on my MBP the situation is a bit different:
If I change any existing contact, those changes are not synced.
If I create a new contact in the "all contacts" group, it syncs to iCloud. If I make changes to that newly created contact, they are again not synced.
If I create a new contact in any other group, the contact does not sync.
If I create a new group, that group is displayed in iCloud as "new group", i.e. the name I gave it is lost on the way... If I add contacts to this group (again on the MPB), they do not sync.
If I create a new group using the option "create group from selected contacts" those contacts are synced to iCloud but the name of the group is again only "new group". Contacts added later to that group also don't sync.
Worst of all, everything that does not sync to iCloud, is lost once I close the Contacts app, meaning this information is not even stored on my MPB. OS X does not display any error messages. However, looking into the console, I found this message repeatedly whenever I was making changes to contacts etc (not only upon closing the app):

I have tried the troubleshooting listed here: Get help using iCloud Contacts (i.e. disabled and reenabled the sycn through iCloud in Preferences > iCloud and checked the login information etc)
And I also do not exceed any of the limits for contacts listed here: iCloud: Limits for Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Bookmarks

I don't know if this is applicable for you, but this solved it for me.
My initial situation was the following, Ipad, Iphone and iMac where syncing well. But not my Macbook Pro. So I did this Get help using iCloud Contacts - Apple Support and this Sync Services: Advanced troubleshooting for contact and calendar syncing - Apple Support . As result all my contacts, even the view I had where gone on my macbook. I tried rebooting and restartting but nothing helped.
Then I did the following. I backuped all the cards from contacts on my imac (by moving them into a folder) and backuped them by export as archive.
Afterwards I disconnected from icloud on my imac, then reconected and deleted all contacts from the addressbook. I double checked if they where gone on icloud.com too. Afterwards I just moved them back from the folder to the address book. again double checked on icloud.com and the my macbook started syncing properly.
Which of the things I finally solved it, I don't know for sure. But I assume it was the one with deleting and restoring everything on another machine.

Functional and data differences between W_GL_BALANCE_F and W_GL_OTHER_F

Can some explain what the functional and data-source differences are between W_GL_BALANCE_F and W_GL_OTHER_F? Both seem to group by GROUP_ACCOUNT_NUM.

That is not possible; all transaction in GL Other will end up in GL Balance.
The two tables are essentially having the same data but at different grain. Two main differences:
- GL Other have individual journal transactions; GL Balance have them summarized to the account level.
- GL Other is truly additive since its just individual journal transactions. i.e. you can just sum() any number of transactions and wont double count a trx; GL Balance is a monthly snapshot table. i.e. it provides account balance for all accounts for every month end, so you can never add two snapshots.

WPA8.1 Feature to save and move files between folders and OneDrive Folders

Hi,
I would like to suggest to dev team a new feature to Adobe Reader on Windows Phone.
Today I was done a uggly workarround to save one PDF file on a OneDrive folder to send to my classmates. So I would like a feature to save and move files between folders on SD cards and OneDrive to keep my phone organized.

Difference in Price per unit and Standard cost between COPA and PCA

I did a comparison between COPA and PCA for January. For few products,there is a difference in the Standard cost and PPU between the two reports(product wise). What might possibly be the reason for the difference. And how to analyze the root cause of this difference.

By PPU - Do you mean PUP i.e. Per Unit Price of Material Ledger??
If yes, then you are not comparing apple to apple.. Std cost is bound to be diff than actual cost

Sharing and commenting pics between Mac and PC

I am looking for a software solution for this business problem. My customer needs to go thru thousands of small photos files, divide them into categories, give them rankings, comment them. I have the original files on my Mac, I can do the same dividing, ranking, etc. So he can send me his list of comments and categories and me in return.
Here are the questions: What is the best software for my customer’s PC / Mac (I never know what computer my client has) to allow this exchange? I am working with Bridge because it feeds so well into Photoshop and inDesign. But I believe one cannot buy a stand alone Bridge. And even if, the problem starts already here. When I send a file I worked on in Bridge from my iMac to my MacBook, identical set-ups, only the star-ranking survives the transport. The colour category is gone and the text I put into the meta data as well.
When I send an iPhoto file between iMac and MacBook, the stars are gone, but a comment in the meta data survived. And then there is Aperture which I haven’t tried. All very unsatisfactory.

Troubleshooting Trunking between 3560 and a WS-C6509-E

I have both sides configured the same on these two switches but I can not ping the ip's on the other side from the 6509.

I have use the command sh int trunk and everything appears to be trunking just fine. Those Vlan's are created on both sides. What other commands can I use to rule out a trunking problem? I keep trying to ping the ip address on the 3560 (*.*192.1) from the 6509. and still not joy.

The show int trunk command should confirm that trunking is correct between the switches. However, we need to know what vlan id you are using for management. Also, we need to see the output of the management vlans on each switch. Also, check the show ip int brief command and make sure your management vlans are up up. They need to look like this:
