VZW iPhone 5 will not pick up LTE when sim is removed and put into Galaxy Nexus then back into iPhone 5

I have a VZW iPhone 5 activated as my main phone, I also have a VZW Samsung Galaxy Nexus that I use a sim adapter and swap the sim to. When I swap the sim from the iPhone 5 to the Galaxy Nexus for a day or so then back to the iPhone 5, I cant pickup LTE signal, it just stay at 3G. Although if I put the sim back in the Galaxy Nexus it still picks up LTE.
The only way i can get the LTE back on my iPhone 5 is by going into VZW and getting a new sim card activated, in return kills my old sim card.
Any ideas or help?? Thanks

As I already said, since the iPhone does not do voice over LTE it must be activated on the Verizon CDMA network just like any other CDMA phone. If the Verizon says you must call them to re-activate it on the iPhone, then that's probably the only answer you're going to get. We're just users. We can't control what goes on on the back end of Verizon's network.
You would have to check discussion forums for Verizon or those dedicated to the Nexus to see if this is a common occurence.

LOL. I just posted same. It connects to my home, but when I'm at my office my phone (5) does not automatically connect to wi-fi. I have to manually do it all the time and it also keeps dropping it. A few other people here have droids, no problem. Never had an issue before the upgrade.

I'm having the same issue. My AExpress used to give a good signal strength on the far side of the house extending he network created by my Extreme. However, I've noticed lately that my iPhone does not receive the same strong signal it once did. AE has a green light, I've rebooted it, and my Extreme but there is no change in signal strength. Sounds as if you have a POP email account. If that is the case, then deleting the account and adding it back deleted those folders. They will be recreated as needed. As soon as you send an email, the Send folder will be created. As soon as you delete an email the deleted folder will be created, and the same with saving an incomplete email will create the draft folder.

The past few weeks I have had a major issue with my iPhone. When I plug it into my Macbook via the USB port it will neither connect to my iTunes or connect. However, when I put it into a iPod speaker system that I have, it charges. I thought maybe it was a bad wire so I got out my spare one and still no luck. My iPod will connect and charge on my Macbook when it is plugged in with the same chords. The speaker system has a port for the USB connector to plug into and I tried that. Once again, the iPod will connect to my Mac, but my iPhone will not. I don't know what to do so that I can sync my iPhone to my Macbook. Can anyone help?

ok so i bought a used iphone 4g offline. well i received it today and it does not work at all. I cannot turn on the iphone by the on/off button. Not sure who you bought the iphone from (btw there is no "4g"), but if it was from ebay or some stranger, then I would get in touch with the person ASAP and ask about this problem. You could also try using a different USB cable, since the current one MAY have a probelm with charging, as other users have experienced. If nothing can charge the phone, then I would be very worried.
I assume you have tried the usual trick: reset.

IPhone will not end a call when pressing red end button

Here is my issue (iPhone 5s using ios 7.1): I make a call - say VoiceMail - and you want to terminate the call prior to the other party hanging up. In the past - prior to ios 7.1 - I just hit the red end call button without an issue but now ubder 7.1 nothing happens. The only way I can terminate a call in this fashion is by pressing the Sleep/Wake button.
I had a chat with Apple support and they asked that I reload version 7.1 which I did. The same issue has returned after a few usages. Any suggestions?

Try to restart your iPhone by pressing home button and sleep/wake button...... it will work if you facing still this issue then you need to reset your iPhone by pressing same button for atleast 10 sec it will prompt you for reset and you can do it without any problem because you will not loose your data...

You can't, unless you're technically expert and have all the necessary test equipment and tools, and don't mind voiding any existing warranty. Otherwise, take it to Apple or whoever provides iPhone service in your area.
Before going that route, try charging it with the AC adaptor for at least 1 hour. If it gets hot again, stop ASAP.

Have you tried deleting the waiting apps and then re downloading? I used to get it all the time on my phone in iOS 7.
