VZW Pearl, unable to turn on SMS Delivery notification
I'm trying to turn on SMS delivery confirmation on my Pearl. I've gone into Option>SMS Text as I've read on the internet. There is supposed to be an option there under reports to turn on Delivery Confirmation.
I don't seem to have Reports, or the option to turn this on.
Can someone please let me know what I'm doing wrong? I'm new to blackberry so this maybe something I'm doing wrong. If is makes a difference my service provider is Verizon.

Support for the Delivery Report option for SMS messages is service provider specific. BlackBerry device users will not see the option if their service providers do not support this feature.
ResolutionContact the service provider to determine whether the Delivery Report feature is supported.
Additional InformationIf the BlackBerry device user reinstalls the BlackBerry® Device Software, the Delivery Report option may appear. However, the option would be removed after a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card is placed in the BlackBerry device and the BlackBerry device is registered over the wireless network.

Nokia Asha - Turning off the SMS delivery messages
I'm using a 301, but guessing the options are pretty standard across the Asha range.
Is there were an option for turning off the message displayed to confirm the delivery of an SMS (the one that pops up and takes up the whole screen for a couple of seconds).

PS - Also the message displayed when it's sending. Personal preference of course, but I'm just happy with the icon in the top of the screen.I don't know the menu layout of the 301, but my C3 has the option to keep the delivery reports embedded which does not show a note, but the delivery status can be checked by looking into the Message Details.
However, my 311 only has the option to either turn off the delivery reports or else get that full screen note. I don't text much so certainly not a thing to disturb me. If your phone does not have the option to keep the delivery reports embedded (Messages> Settings> General or Text Messages> Delivery), you need to turn of the delivery reports. No other way than that. -
Why does viber keep asking me to set up again when I have already set it up about 3 times and used it successfully. Will be overseas without my mobile and will be unable to retrieve the sms code to set it up if this happens when I am away so should I reinstall it ?
ISSUE FINALLY RESOLVED!!!!!!
So, it turns out, I had to restore the iPhone...with a twist! Here are the steps:
FIRST BACK UP YOUR DEVICE
1. Go to the library (Hold option, click on "go" in the finder, then go to library)
2. Go to your iTunes folder in this Library (not application support, the main iTunes folder)
3. Go to the iX software folder (i.e., iPhone software, iPad software, etc.) and delete the file in this folder
4. Hook up the phone and then click on restore iPhone.
At this point, it will redownload the entire OS again. You must then restore the iPhone. As it is downloading the iOS, you can disconnect and use your phone for probably however long you want (I did the restore the same day as the download) and when you are ready you can hook up the phone and restore it.
THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP FOLLOWS:
And one many may dislike. Upon restoring the phone, you MUST select "Set-Up as new iPhone"
You need to make sure you've backed up EVERYTHING elsewhere. 3rd party, non-apple/icloud apps will lose data through this method, and you'll lose all texts, your call history, and super old voicemails. The upside is that, if you've backed up, then you can just restart the process if you forgot something. But seeing as how the popup was interfering with my ability to use iCloud (I couldn't sync anything, such as calendar events, reminders, etc., unless I had gone into mail to sign in to iCloud), it was totally worth it....no more popups.
My only wish is that this thread becomes popular. Many people have this issue and you should only use this method as a super last resort (after trying literally everything I had written previously). -

I have recently bought a white iPhone 4S on Tuesday, and it has been repeatedly loosing all connection and just suddenly switching off.
When this happens I am unable to turn the phone back on again without a power source plugged into it. When I try to remove the phone from the power source it goes completely dead again.
However, the most recent time this has happened (today), as soon as I returned home the phone had no problem starting up as normal when I pressed the power button.
The signal was working fine even though it says 'searching' in the left hand top corner of the screen. I am wondering if my WIFI at home is influencing the phone to work inside the household?
This is a problem that needs to be sorted out ASAP because the phone is not working the majority of the time when I need it to.
Please if you have any suggestions or know the cause of this problem inform me straight away.

How do i deactivate a device through icloud if the device is broken and i am unable to turn on find my iphone? Also i do not own a apple id as ive been using a family members due to problems when trying to make one?

My iPod touch suddenly stopped working. It was fine earlier, but when I went back a few hours later, the screen had gone black and I was unable to turn it on. It is now unresponsive and my computer does not recognize it when it is plugged in. I thought it just needed to be charged but there seems to be a larger issue now. What should I do?
Let your ipod die. Then when it is dead charge it adn turn it back on. After that it should be fine.

Unable to Turn on Home Sharing after iTunes upgrade
After the latest iTunes upgrade onYosemite, I get an 'Unable to Turn on Home Sharing' error on my 2 Apple TVs plus iPhone and iPad. Previously, I had no problem. I have restarted and reset my iTune on my MacBook plus all the devices now receiving an error message and the inability to utilize Home Sharing.

My iPad2 with cellular is saying No SIM in top left. I am unable to turn cellular on after a recent flight and having been in airplane mode. Any helpful suggestions?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

My iphone 4s' screen is black, but it's still on and charging. I broke my lock screen button so I am unable to turn it off using the home button and lock button. Is there any other way my phone can restart or turn off ? Is my phone broken for sure?

Nokia E7 notification light blinks on SMS delivery
Guys
Previously I had to format and factory reset my nokia e7 , after the format I found out that when I send and SMS and I receive the delivery , the notification light start blinking , and as soon as I touch the touch screen or press on any of the phone buttons ( like the home key, volume or unlock ) it stops blinking , I'm sure it only has to blink when I receive an SMS , not when I receive a delivery.
Do you guys know how I can fix this issue ?
Regardsyou must have been enabled the SMS delivery reoprt opption. whenever you send an sms it will get the delivery report an assume that it has something for you.
if you wish to stop it please disable the sms delivery report option and see your self. it will be fix.
and its a feature that phone let you know for delivery report as well.

Unable to turn Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on or off because the setting is grayed out or dim.
Try to re-set it as rudegar suggests. If that doesn't work, try a restore. If that doesn't work, try a restore as new.
If the settings are still grayed out, then your phone has suffered a hardware failure. -
S400 unable to turn off wireless
Hi , I am unable to turn off or on wifi/bluetooth with the f7 key(alternatiely the wireless key). wifi and bluetooth are enabled always whch i feel is power consuming when not required. the key seems to be unusable.
netbook config is :
i3, 2gb ram, atheos ar9285 wireless lan adapter, atheos ar3011 bluetooth adapter
i have installed both the wireless drivers from lenovo support.

Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
If you're running Windows 8, pressing the Airplane Mode (F7) turns OFF both the Wireless and Bluetooth radio. If you want to turn off just the Blueooth though, you will need to do it manually by:
1. Opening Device Manager (press Win Key+X > choose Device Manager)
2. Expand Bluetooth Radios then right click > disable the blueooth adapter.
3. For the wireless, choose Network Adapters under Device Manager and right click > disable the wireless module or boot into the BIOS by pressing the One Key Recovery button and under the Configuration Tab, set Wireless LAN Support to Disabled.
