W-Messages in PM Order Confirmation

Dear all,
is it possible to affect the W-Messages in the confirmation, for example the warning-message if the confirmation date is older than the release date and so on.
Thanks & BR

Hi,
If ur looking for some warning messages then u may have any of the below  use user exits :-
CONFPM04 PM/SM order conf.: Customer specific input check 2
CONFPM02 PM/SM order confirmation: Customer specific input checks 1
CONFPM05 PM/SM order conf.: Cust. specific enhancements when saving
if ur looking for workflow messages via workflow activitation then spro -->pm -->maintenance and service orders -->define control parameters for confirmations  , here for combination of plnt and order type , u have to define work deviation and activate workflow option ..

  • Posting related Error during Order Confirmation

    Dear Experts,
I am from PP forum and had to post this in FI forum as i am getting an error message during process order confirmation after the goods posting is done thro backflush "Acct. 21701300 for trans./event key BSX, postable directly" .The error explanation says "the stock account determined automatically by the system is one that is directly postable. However, this stock posting can only be made to an automatically postable account. How to solve this please help.....
    Regards,
    Sunit

    Hi
Stock account should be 'Post automatically only'. This option should be selected in the respective GL master in FS00.
Change the GL 21701300 to post automatically only in FS00 or assign a different stock account in config - OBYC - BSX for the respective material valuation class

  • Message type for Inbound SD EDI message : Sales Order Confirmation

    Hi,
There is an EDI message coming into SAP for sales order confirmation post delivery.
The data in the Idoc should then proceed to update the system and create the delivery document.
I need a standard Message Type which when triggered, will perform the above actions.
Will ORDRSP Message type be useful here.

To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier. Pop up message comes up when trying to use back arrow.

    You can't suppress that alert.
You get an alert about resending POST data if you go back to a page that was previously requested from the server by submitting form data via a POST form. The only way that Firefox can make sure to get the same page is by resending that POST form. Firefox doesn't know what that form data means, so Firefox asks for confirmation before resending that form data as such an action can cause you to repeat an action and buy another item or post a message another time.
The only way to prevent that pop-up is not to use the Back button, but to open links from a page that was requested from a server by sending a POST form in a new tab (window) with a middle-click or a Ctrl + left-click. Then you can close that tab or window to go back.

I really don't want to get this message every ten minutes.

Perhaps someone should report this to MarketWatch. There are ways for web developers to work around this issue (GET after POST, for example).
This is a longstanding issue. Examples:

In past discussions about this message, I have never seen an easy solution. Arguably it should be made a user preference: those who prefer to be warned about the risk that they will double-submit a transaction or instruction on a poorly designed site can have their warning, and those who prefer to take their chances can take their chances. Not sure whether that is on anyone's "to do" list.
Separate issue: I wasn't aware of any difference between 3.6.12 and 3.6.13, but both are riddled with security vulnerabilities so it's hard to recommend using either of them at this point.

  • To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier. How do i get rid of this message? or do i need to just drop firefox all together?

To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier. How do i get rid of this? it keeps pop n up and screw n up my stuff... if there is not a fix I will be dropping fox and going back to internet explorer.. this is not worth the headache!

Are you getting that anytime you visit a page? Or after you hit the 'refresh', 'back' or 'forward' button?
This error is not usually an error telling you that anything is broken, it's warning you that you are re-doing something you have already done. The page that you are trying to re-access, or refresh was a page that was doing something. Maybe you told the page to search for something, or you were filling out a form, or perhaps doing something like adding something to a shopping cart. Firefox warns you in case it's something you really don't want to do again; for example, accidentally buying a second toaster, or re-sending a comment form.
If you only were searching or navigating around a page, it's generally ok to press the 'Resend' button.
This safety feature is not unique to firefox, I can't offhand think of a browser that doesn't have it (though the wording may vary).
However, if you are getting it constantly, every page you visit, on every website, all the time, then it's a bug.

  • PPPI PI sheet to trigger HUM goods receipt and PI order confirmation

    Hi gurus,
We're running into a problem when setting up our PI sheets.
We're using Handling Unit Management for our finished products and would like to use the PI sheet to post both the goods receipt of handling units and the order confirmation. For now let's assume all activities and ingredients are backflushed.
For the HUM section we've created a function module that combines transactions COWBPACK and COWBHUWE. When called by itself it works like a dream.
For the order confirnation we've successfully used standard SAP message category PI13, but also only when called by itself.
The problem is when we combine them:
When combining the Z function module to contain both COCI_CONFIRM_ORDER (from the PI13 message) and our ZHUM function modules, it appears that the COCI_CONFIRM_ORDER blocks the process order so the COWBHUWE part of our function module cannot be executed. This has something to do with the way SAP handles the "commit" in the function module.
Now, I noticed it's possible to include more than one message category in customizing for the PI sheet category (when configuring through the wizard).  The idea is then to process the messages with a background job, filtering through the message category so we do the HUM part immediately and the confirmation only at the end of the shift so they don't block each other.
However, when I do this still only one message category is created after processing the PI sheet.
Do you know how to create messages with multiple message categories from the same PI sheet? Or if that's not the way, is there a better way to set up this process?
Sorry for the long text, just wanted to be precise.  Any help is, as usual, greatly appreciated.
    Kind regards,
    Elt

    Hi
    1. What is quantity of the waste material you get as by product? Do not you wan it to be handled as scrap? What is the %age of scrap you have defined in the BOM for the material? You wll have some data regarding this. Or else how do you arrive at decission that after subcontract processes the waste you are paying him, Is it umpsum basis or material quantity basis. The best way is to have a Subcontract PO, but for that even though you do not weigh the watse quanity you must be having so historical data for the waste quantity generated and the conversion of the sane to other SFG , definitely you can arrive that on a pro_rata basis. Have a Code for the waste mateial. Release Subcontract PO for SFG which is what you get back, and issue the components( waste) to subcontractor.
Please remember your PO intially will be for Provisional quantity if you are unable to reach a fixed quantity. Amend the PO before GR as per the actual quanity for which you wish to pay the vendor.
For the waste quanity stock updation you use 262(w/o refe to Prd order) after the FG is confirmed.
Material price updation happens cirrectly in this process.
    2. You can pay the vendor as you wish by by this process but what about the price updation for the ordered material SFG. When you can receive by product in separate Txn againt FG then why can not you follow the proces no. 1?
    3. I would not liketo suggest 3 rd option as that becomes much comlicated for a simple operation.

  • SUS Purchase Order Confirmation notification (or alert) is possible ?

    Hello,
We work on a SRM 5 release with a classic scenario.
We use the EBP-SUS supplier collaboration scenario (clients are different for SRM and SUS).
The purchasing document flow is describe below:
    1- SRM Shopping Cart
2- R/3 Purchase Request (then, SRM SC history is updated with the PR number)
3- R/3 Purchase Order (then, an IDoc is sent to XI which generates a XML document sent to EBP-SUS in order to create the corresponding sales order - SRM SC history is updated with the PO number).
4- Then, supplier can confirm or reject the PO received. So, the SUS Purchase Order Confirmation is generated and sent back to R/3 ( via XI)
5- R/3 PO is updated with the posted PO confirmation (you can see the confirmation control key AB in the 'Confirmation' tab of the PO item concerned).
My request is to send a notification to the requester's mail client in order to inform him that supplier confirmed or rejected the PO.
I noticed that notification receivers definition is possible in SPRO, but only for "Process Purchase Order Response". I guess this notification is for BUS2209 (SRM POR) and not for BUS2232 (PO confirmation for SUS).
That's why i cannot use it: can anyone confirm this ?
As alternative, i tried to use alert management in SPRO (in the SUS client) for BUS2232 with sub-category of event SRM_SUS_PO_CONF in ALRTCATDEF transaction for SRM Alerts, but it does not work (even if i schedule report RSALERTPROC ).
Does anyone have a suggestion regarding my customizing ?
Finally, when PO confirmation is posted in R/3 (step 5 seen above), the SRM SC history is not updated with the PO confirmation number: is this the standard way ?
If yes and that the described notification (alert) customizing i indicated above are not possible, does it seem i will have to develop a specific notification process in R/3 when R/3 PO is updated with its PO confirmation coming from SRM-SUS ?
    Thank you for your help.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

    Hello Nagarajan,
    >
    >  Looks like your intent is to notify the  Shopping Cart requestor about the PO response that happens in the Back end system!
    > This looks strange but then it is really required if you have a common buyer in SRM and MM.
    >(...)
Requester being the initiator of purchasing document flow, custumer request is to alert him about supplier POR.
If i send my notification from R/3, i will get Requester name at R/3 PO item. Then, by a RFC call to SRM, i will get his data to generate my e-mail.
    >
    > The following approach can be adopted:
    > 1.Purchase Oder  Response Message can be pulled out of the XI thro a technical routing into the SRM which will post the Purchase Oder response in the SRM ( SRM PO will be updated)..There could be some issues with the variance POR and the status of the POR but that can be handled..
    >(...)
I cannot do this: PO does not exist in SRM as we are in classic scenario.
    >
    > I am unsure of the Alert Management.. but I heard there should be a way for that also..

I carry on checking this solution
    >
    > You can raise an OSS Message for the same pls.
    >(...)
Don't have time for this and SAP will answer that this is consulting and not support
I will also verify if i can find a BAdI dedicated to SUS Purchase Order Response and use it to generate my e-mail from SUS client (or maybe some enhancements).
    Regards.

  • Order confirmation with delivery date in past

    Hello everybody,
In the SNC portal, we have a lot of old Purchase order which are not confirmed, and when we try to confirmed them, we have the error below :
Order XXXXXXXX, item 00010, schd. line 0000000002: delivery date lies in past
My client wish create a super user (admin ?) who can confirmed a Purchase Order item with a delivery date in past (for example 06/08/2011).
Is it possible to create such profiles? If so how to configure it in SNC.
    Are there other solutions ?
Thank you very much for your help.
    Stéphane.

    Hi Stéphane,
Normally in a standard SAP settings Purchase order confirmation in past gives warning message but you can have PO confirmation in past from warning to error or Information.
Go to SPRO>Supply Network Collaboration>Basic Settings>Validation>Own Settings-->Maintain Settings in Validation Profiles
Maintained below setting if you want message as information (No error or warning message)
    Profile:POC2
    Validation check:PO_DELVRY_DATETIME_IN_PAST
    Msg.Type:I
    Save Mode:Save Message as Valid
    Continuation Mode:Continue checks
    Profile:POC3
    Validation check:PO_DELVRY_DATETIME_IN_PAST
    Msg.Type:I
    Save Mode:Save Message as Valid
    Continuation Mode:Continue checks
Maintained below setting if you want message as error
    Profile:POC2
    Validation check:PO_DELVRY_DATETIME_IN_PAST
    Msg.Type:E
    Save Mode:DO not Save Message
    Continuation Mode:Discontinue checks
    Profile:POC3
    Validation check:PO_DELVRY_DATETIME_IN_PAST
    Msg.Type:E
    Save Mode:DO not Save Message
    Continuation Mode:Discontinue checks
Maintained below setting if you want message as warning
    Profile:POC2
    Validation check:PO_DELVRY_DATETIME_IN_PAST
    Msg.Type:W
    Save Mode:Save Message as Valid
    Continuation Mode:Continue checks
    Profile:POC3
    Validation check:PO_DELVRY_DATETIME_IN_PAST
    Msg.Type:W
    Save Mode:Save Message as Valid
    Continuation Mode:Continue checks
Above setting is a generic setting for all user and If you need User specific setting then it is a customization required.

  • MM-SUS Scenario: Order confirmed but No Order Ack triggered to XI

    Hi,
We have configued ECC(MM)-XI-SRM(SUS) for Classic scenario.
When new PO is being created in ECC, the same is getting posted in SRM and we could see in the SUS portal. Upon Order Confirmation, the Order is moved from <b>"New/In Process"to "Confirmed" orders</b>. But no message(PurchaseOrderConfirmation_out) is being sent out of SRM system.
How will this message get triggered?
    Regards,
    Siva

    HI,
in one my earlier implementation, we have done similar scenario. In that case , we will send the PO information to SUS. But we did not have confirmation scenario.  I think, it is better to check out in the SUS side i.e go to transaction SXMB_MONI in SUS to check any messages. Provided , I think, SUS is sending this ack thru porxy.
    anyway TO know more -
https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/ibc  -->go to mySAP SRM and find the required scenario.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
