W2 report hs been run!!! Filing status needs to be changed

Hi Team,
The W2 report has been run for a set of employees and the filing date has been set.Unable to run for the rest of the employees.
Please suggest how can we delete the records of w2 forms for the employees run as the issue is that the filing date has been set.

Oh Jolly! The day has come to find out whether we will be screwed by BestBuy Mobile with a $600 fee for their mistake. I do not expect any fair resolution (which would be not charge the fee since no "dealer code" was changed and no breach in the purchase agreement occurred) from them to be honest. They haven't given me a reason to believe so.
I am betting I will get no answer today, and when I contact the outsourced support tonight after 48 hours have passed, they will tell me to wait another 48 hours "for my matter to be resolved". I'm sure if I send the phones back tomorrow I they would get there before I get any type of response from this "Activations team" .
Any takers?

Hi Guys,
This can not be done throug ST03/ST03N. For this you will have to either use the SAP delivered BI Statistics query which is built on 0TCT_M01 multiprovider. Make sure your data is upto date before you run the query.
Disadvantage of teh SAP delivered query is, it will not give you result which is older than 24 hrs. So basically it gives you oppourtinity to analyze only last 24 hrs data. If you want to modify the query, you can copy the query and modify as per your requirement.
Now coming to your question of finding how many times a report is run:
Question is how many queries do you have in your report. If your report contains one query only, there is free char in the query called Frontend Session. Everytime your execute the query you will have a new Frontend session ID.
So create a formula as counters for all values and set the exception aggregation based on Frontend session. This will give you the number of times each query executed. If you drill down by Users, you will get this numbers by users.

Status need to be change form PCNF to CNF

Hi PP Gurus,
In my project, we have orderwise confirmation. When the users do confirmation in CO15, they do it partially irrespective of the confirmed qty it may be equal or short. say for qty 10, they do partial confirmation for qty 10. Now when the order gets status change as TECO, then also system allow to do confirmation for the same oder of qty 10, as this is the natural behaviour of system to do posting against partial confirmations.
So my requirement is , whether we can do status change in the order with TECO from PCNF to CNF?
What procedure we need to follow? As per my understanding, the status of the order for posting, say PCN,CNF & DLV cannot be change in the order itself. Some posting related transaction must be happen on the order.

What setupo did you keep for Stauts Id -I0045 in BS22 for TECO and business transtion ?? Please check it if system is allowing the CNF even you set TECO in CO02 for production order .
Here in BS22 , for TECO sttus , you have to mark Forbidden in Business Tans which allow you to post confirmation .
Select the Business Transaction RMRU (Confirm order) - It will be in Allowed status and make it Forbidden

Clear Reports cache after running report

Hi
Is there any way I can programmatically clear the reports cache on the 9iAS server once the report has been run ?
I am using web.show etc in my forms and would like to delete the report once I exit the form.
I have the jobid - but how does that relate to the physical file on the disk ?
Ideas anyone ?

I am having the same problem.
I manage a database with highly confidential data that has forced me to implement a Virtual private database (VPD) on Database 9i release 2.
Once users run their reports, copies are saved on the reports cache on Oracle9iAS. The reports in the cache can be viewed by anyone who knows the URL http://my9iASserver_name:7778/reports/rwservlet/getjobid1?server=myrepserver_name
without the need of authentication (username and password).
This negates the work I have done on the VPD, moreover everyone including the intenal auditors think that the system is bogus since a user can access information that does not belong to them without being restricted.
The solution I require is either to bypass the reports cache (or any other cache involeved including the web cache), or if this is impossible, then a program to delete any report as it hits the cache. So that at any given second, the reports cache is empty.
I am also aware that the minimum time you can schedule a task on the windows scheduler is 1 minute which is too much.
At this time, my focus is not the performance of the Oracle9iAS but its security and management does not care how slow it becomes as long as it is secure

Verified following services which are running and status was success on that specific date 2014-08-18 :

Observed latest Web Analytics Setting as below :

Above settings says that Data has not copied from Staging DB to Reporting DB on Date 2014-08-18
In order to verify the same I have checked as follow:

WHERE [DateId] = 20140818
Above SQL Query has returned ZERO value.

The user requests a page, and the action gets picked up by the Web Analytics service that runs on SharePoint.
The Web Analytics service logs this in the “.usage” files.
A Timer job called “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Import” by default runs every 30 minutes. It imports the logs into the staging database.
Each night the “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Processing” Timer job runs and transforms the data into the reporting database.
The last run time of the import from staging and the aggregation is logged in the Settings table in the Reporting database.
Usage and Health Data Collection Service Application collects Data about Usage and Health of your farm.
This information is used for Health Monitoring and this is also required for running the Web Analytics Service. If you do not have a Usage and Health Data Collection Service Application or your
Usage and Health Data Collection Proxy is stopped, you will not see any data in the Web Analytics Report

Reports Stuck in Running Status

We are having a problem where reports are stuck in running status. When looking on the server, the reports stuck in running status taking up a "jobserverchild" process, and does not complete.
Has anyone experienced this issue, and how we can resolve it?

Ok - here we go - we have been experiencing this issue for the longest time - it looks like we have found the culprit:
1) Check the default printer of the report developer who placed this report into Enterprise.
2) Ensure that exact same driver is on the Business Objects Server.
3) Report should schedule fine.
Another option is to set "No Printer" within the report design itself by clicking on File > Page Setup. This way there is no dependency on printer drivers.

Can the width of a report that has been run in the background be increased?

Hello Experts,
How can I increase the width of a report that I have run in the background so that it does not wrap text to the next line?
I have been running the same HR report successfully in the background for many months. Today I ran it with the same parameters that I've always used and when I retrieve it from my Own Job Spool - System | Own Spool Request | Display Contents the last field is wrapped to the next line.

Thereu2019s another possibility if Tedu2019s suggestion doesnu2019t work. When you look at your spool requests, thereu2019s an icon on the toolbar next to the eyeglasses that looks like a yellow rectangular callout. Itu2019s called u201CDisplay in Maximum Widthu201D. Select the Spool no. to display and then press this icon. Shift + F4 is the shortcut.

Save your process files outside of the NI progam directory (you should have external backups already right ). THey should not be deleted.
Any customizations to the lookout.ini and lookout.sec file may be lost.

I cant re-start sql server (2008 developer) on win 7 workstation after enabling tcpIP -- been running fine for a year

I had successfully installed sql server 2008 Developer edition on a win7 pro workstation about a year ago. I has been running fine for the last year (locally and running .Net 4.5 framework). All services (RS, Analysis) running fine.
Then today someone decided to enable tcpIP and went to services to restart the server on my workstation but it would not restart. I ran repair from the sql server installation center x64 - still nothing - the server wont restart. But Analysis server and Reporting
services work fine -- these services can restart fine ... Just not the main server. I'm also running Sql Server express. that runs OK too. But I need my sql server 2008 Developer to run. I looked at the system event viewer -- it said this:
The SQL Server (SQLDEVELOPER) service terminated with service-specific error The specified module could not be found..
I went to Control panel ... services and looked at the properties for Sql Server Developer -- the path was listed as:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.SQLDEVELOPER\MSSQL\Binn\sqlservr.exe" -sSQLDEVELOPER
Everything in windows explorer appears to be in order. How can I restart the server? Do I need to uninstall it and then reinstall it? Any suggestions appreciated.
I rebooted the entire workstation a few times already also, but still server won't restart. What to do?

Scheduled Report Fails To Run If User Password Has Expired

Why can't a report, that has been scheduled for a user whose password has expired, continue to run and go to its predefined destinations?
A user doesn't know until he/she attempts to log in that there is a password expiration issue. They may have scheduled the report to go to a multitude of inboxes, but if their password has expired, the report doesn't run.
I can understand "some" issues with the necessity to stop the report until credentials are updated correctly. However, Business Objects doesn't notify a user until it has expired, thus making it too late for those expecting something in their inbox.
Is there any method of notifying users that their password is going to be expiring soon, in advance? In other words, is there any "proactive" feature within Business Objects for notifying the user of an upcoming need to change their password?

There is nothing built in to BusinessObjects for this, but there may be third-party tools available or you can write code that would do this.

Users who are new and haven't yet changed their password will not have a value for SI_LAST_PASSWORD_CHANGE_TIME, so you can use SI_UPDATE_TS to determine when they were created.
You could build an application that uses this query to determine who is getting close to password expiration and send out an email reminding those users to change their passwords.

After configuring and validating the configuration of Workflow 1.0 by http://server_name.example.com:12291 page and also check the Application Services in Central Administration and receive the Workflow Status = Connected.
Alright, but when I run the SPD 2013 RTM to test the creation of Sharepoint Workflow 2013, I get the following warning:
"Server Side activties have been updated. You need to restart SharePoint Designer to use the updated version of activities."
I've tried:
a. Restart SPD2013;
b. Restart Server 2013 and Sharepoint Workflow 1.0;
c. Reinstall and reconfigure Workflow 1.0
And the message is always displayed, preventing the use of Workflow Sharepoint 2013.
Can anyone help me, I'm in the middle of a deployment to a customer.

How did you uninstalledLanguage Pack from SharePoint 2013 ? when I googled it I found that language pack cannot be uninstall@

HR/ESS - HRXSS_PER_READ_P0210_US/IRSLI, W-4, Filing Status

Two problems.
1. HR configured IRS Mandates in SAP. When an employee is IRS Mandates, a SAP field called IRSLI returns "X", else returned ""(empty). ESS' web dynpro model is HRXSS_PER_P0210_US. I guess one class under this model HRXSS_PER_READ_P0210_US would read in this IRSLI value. In ESS Context, we have a node to catch this IRSLI. When IRSLI equals "X", the employee's W4 will be displayed without EDIT button. That means IRS Mandates employee can not modify W4.
In QA, after the above change is made, ESS works fine, and EDIT button is hidden for IRS Mandates employee. In NW Developer Studio, Debugger shows IRSLI="X".
In production infotype 161, HR successfully configured IRS Mandates. In infotype 210, it clearly shows IRS Mandates checkbox is checked for the employee. But in production ESS, the IRS Mandates employee can still see the EDIT button in W4. I cannot debug directly in production, but I added a print command into the web dynpro program. The print command shows IRSLI="" in ESS.
The version of ESS in QA and production are the same. I have repeatedly deployed them and set some print commands to make sure they are current. ESS relies on the SAP field IRSLI returned from the model HRXSS_PER_P0210_US. But in QA, it seems SAP backend (QSS) can return IRSLI="X", but in production (PSS), it returns IRSLI="". Our SAP analyst checked on SAP side, and all configuration is fine. We tried to run a testing with HRXSS* program in SAP backend, but this program is hard to run because it needs a lot of inputs and settings.
My question is: is this a backend problem or front end problem?
As a web dynpro developer, I usually modify web dynpro programs in NW Developer Studio, then test them in QA in SAP portal (backend is QSS). After everything is good in QA, I deploy them to production. In this case, when I test it in QA, everything is fine. After deployment to production, it is NOT good. Very strange. I will appreciate any advice.
System info:
ESS version 600 SP13. Back end is ECC 6.0. JDK 1.4.2_13. SAP portal 7.0. ESS is in SAP portal.

Sorry, I posted problem #2 here. When I posted it with problem #1 above, all new-lines disappeared and made it hard to read.
2. This is another problem in ESS W4. Filing status dropdown has options such as married, single, head of household, etc. Our HR decided to remove head of household from the dropdown. SAP analyst configured the backend, and I did not do anything on web dynpro side. After the configuration is done in QSS, I logged on ESS in QA (sap portal). I could see head of household disappeared from the dropdown. This meant everything is a success and it is good to go to production.
The SAP analyst transported his configuration from QSS into production (PSS). But, when I logged on ESS in production, the head of household showed up in the dropdown!
I did not do anything on web dynpro side. I did not have any transport. It was a configure on SAP backend, and the analyst had transported it. I do not even know what the analyst did. Why it was working in QA (QSS) , but not production (PSS)? Is this a web dynpro front end problem or a backend problem?
Our QSS and PSS are the same in data, configuration and programs. While QSS and PSS are working differently, I am worried and doubting if they are really the same.

Crazy I know, but what is the best way to PREVENT a report portlet from running ?

I know this sounds a very weird question.
On a page I have a html form (that I use as search criteria for my report) as well as an actual report published as a portlet.
On certain situations, such as when going to the page initially, I require that the report not be executed due to bind variables passed by the form not being initialised.
I know I can set default values for parameters, and use decode statements in my query etc etc, but this means the report is still actually run, but no rows are returned!
I dont want the report to even run!
Is there a faster way of stopping a report from executing.

Would the best way to achieve this be the throwing of an unhandled exception?

I have about 50GB of photos on my old MBP iphoto library.
To be able to merge your libraries, your Aperture version and iPhoto version must match. For basic reading see: Aperture 3.3: Using a unified photo library with iPhoto and Aperture

Assuming you are running the latest Aperture and iPhoto versions:
Before merging libraries ensure that your iPhoto Library has no issues. While still on your old mac run the "library first aid tools" on your iPhoto Library. Hold down the key combination ⌥⌘ and double click your iPhoto Library, then select "Repair database".
Make sure you have a backup of your current Aperture Library and iPhoto library.
Do both macs have a FireWire port? Then you could connect your macs in Target Disk Mode:

This way your new mac could see your old mac as an external disk and you could copy directly between the macs.
Otherwise copy your iPhoto library by drag-and-drop to an external disk (on your old mac) and connect that disk to your new mac. Check, if the external drive is formatted for mac (MacOS X Extended (Journaled)). Otherwise reformat it, before you copy the iPhoto library to that drive.
When your iPhoto Library has been moved to your new Mac launch Aperture and use the command "File > Import > Library" from the main menu bar. If there are duplicates in the Aperture library (if you imported earlier from iPhoto) you may be prompted if you want to "Add" or "Merge". If you have lots of duplicates, pick "Merge", otherwise "Add".
