W520 - Lenovo Password Manager - Can .CSV or .DAT files be imported from other Password Managers?

The title says it all!
Currently using Norton Identity Safe's standalone password manager, but would like to start using Lenovo's instead. Attempted to import .DAT and/or .CSV files from Norton, but no option for these file types appeared in Lenovo's Password Manager.
If not an option to import directly, is it possible to add one of the files to the location Lenovo stores the password manger entries?
Solved!

Hello,
No you can't import .CSV or .DAT files into Password Manager. It uses a .PWM file format, and uses a 256-bit key Advanced
Encryption Standard (AES) with Microsoft CryptoAPI. You can export your info to be used in another machine with the Thinkvantage Password Manager installed, but not from another password manager.

  • Can you use a subquery when importing from a file?

    I was wondering if the DBMS_DATAPUMP API allows using a subquery (DATA_FILTER) when executing an import from a file?
    I am unable of limiting my data when creating the export file because my subquery requires a database link, which is not an option on the server I'm working on. So I'm wondering if I can limit my data on the import from a file, rather than the export?
    Thanks for any advice...

    I was wondering if the DBMS_DATAPUMP API allows using a subquery (DATA_FILTER) when executing an import from a file?From the documentation I would say yes:
    SUBQUERY:
    Specifies a subquery that is added to the end of the SELECT statement for the table. If you specify a WHERE clause in the subquery, you can restrict the rows that are selected. Specifying an ORDER BY clause orders the rows dumped in the export which improves performance when migrating from heap-organized tables to index-organized tables.

    I recently lost my iphone 4 and have an iphone3 on loan until I get upgrade in Aug.  I want to sync my data - contacts most important  - from my itunes account...is this possible?  Is it possible to change the user ID on the borrowed phone to my ID?

    There are no contacts in itunes.
    Your contact should be on your computer in whatever program you have selected to sync.  Just sync them to the new one.
    Click Support at the top of this page, then click manuals
    Changing the itunes account on nthe iphone is covered there as is restoring the iphone as new or from backup.

    I can't see .NEF files in finder from mi NIkon D7100. Helllp !!!!!
    I can open NEF files in Camera Raw but Im not seeing tumbs in finder !
    Also I cant see them in preview too.

    Well, I don't know what the problem actually is in the first place, it should work as is, I think something is messed up with the present driver and replacing it would perhaps get around that problem.
    It seems like I'd be adding one more layer of complexity to the Vista machine...
    Not sure how the Vista machine is involved in this, since these are drivers for the Mac.
    Though to involve the Vista Machine, One option not mentioned yet is MacDrive for you PCs... allows them to Read/Write HFS+...

    I can't get photoshop CS6 to import from my HP scanjet 5590? I have tried plug ins, and reinstally scanner software but it only recognizes my main scanner/printer!

    Hello & Welcome to the forums,
    but it only recognizes my main scanner/printer!
    Does this mean your HP Scanjet 5590 is a 2nd scanner you have on your computer?
    Are you able to scan with 5590 on a different application? Is it only Photoshop that is giving you this problem?
    Please let us know details about your operating system and its version too.
    Do tell us how you're trying to 'import' pictures from your 5590 scanner.

    How can I process raw files in Aperture from my Sony RX1?

    Here is a list of supported cameras
    <http://www.apple.com/aperture/specs/raw.html>
    Your Sony RX1 is not listed. Your best bet would be to use the software, that came with your camera to convert the raw files to tiff and to import the tiff to Aperture. Or to shoot raw+jpeg and to import the pairs and to work with the jpeg versions as original master files, until Aperture supports your camera.

  • RMAN duplicate target using set until telling me it can not find data files

    I have RMAN scripts that I use freqently to clone a database from DB (production) to another (non-prod). These work just fine. I use the set until so that I can tell it at what point I want the new DB to be created from the backups of the source.
    I had a request to go back a few weeks and the backup files (I do compressed backups to disk) were on tape. I had my backup person restore my backup directory for the source DB as it looked on a certain day (May 28). I have an 8 day retention policy and so the backup files that were restored showed files all the way back to 5/20 ( includes the point I want to use in my set until clause).
    However, whenever I try to execute the rman clone, it tells me for each datafile:
    RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 1 found to restore
    Like I said, I am able to do this for a current backup that is on disk. I moved the backup files to the source db server and it works fine. However, from these files restored from tape it errors.
    Here is the RMAN script:
    spool log to c:\temp\clone_CSPROD_CSPRSUM1.log;
    #connect to catalog <catalog info>
    # target is the source and auxiliary is destination
    #connect target <put in source info here>

    Maybe making progress.
    I got into RMAN and did a List backup command. In looking at the output, I see that it does have the 5/20 backup showing. Here is part of the output:

    What I am not sure is if the SCN I used in my set until sequence command was from 5/20, when I look at the backup pieces that it is reading to restore from, they appear to be from backup files taken from June.
    (e.g channel d1: reading from backup piece F:\BACKUPS\CSPROD\D3\CSPROD_DATA_6148 -- this is a 6/16 backup file).
    Also, as you can see it was not able to do a media recovery.
    Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Clear Data Manager Package Error "The data file is empty."

    Hi,
    When I run the Clear data package in Data Manager, I receive the error "The data file is empty." I selected a very specific set of dimension values (none are calculated) and am on BPC 7.5 SP3. I subsequently turned on debugging to troubleshoot, but do not see any obvious issues leading the the error message. The log file with debugging turned on is below. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks.
    Tom

    You can greatly improve your chance of receiving a helpful answer to your question if you state the version (MS or NW) and the release (5.1, 7.0, 7.5) of BPC which you are using.
    Also notice the sticky [note|Please do not post BPC, SSM or FI/CO questions here!; at the top of this forum whereby we announced new dedicated forums for BPC which are the proper place to post your questions regarding BPC in the future to be able to reach the right audience for your question.
    Thanks and best regards,

  • Can not restore data files from backup set

    I am trying to restore Server A's backup data to Server B (they are all oracle11g) using rman. The restore commands is below:
    rman target /;
    shutdown immediate;
    startup nomount;
    restore controlfile from '/usr/local/oracle/backup/20100418/ctl_xxx'
    alter database mount;
    catalog start with '/usr/local/oracle/backup/20100418/';
    restore database;
    recover database;
    alter database open resetlogs;
    For the first time, it works. But when i tried to restore another backup data by the same way:
    rman target /;
    shutdown immediate;
    startup nomount;
    restore controlfile from '/usr/local/oracle/backup/20100425/ctl_xxx'
    alter database mount;
    catalog start with '/usr/local/oracle/backup/20100425/';
    restore database;
    recover database;
    alter database open resetlogs;
    The second time, i found that rman restore the old backup data, which means that it restore the data file under '/usr/local/oracle/backup/20100418/' instead of '/usr/local/oracle/backup/20100425/'.
    So I run 'list backup of database summary' to see the backup set lists in control file.
    List of Backups

    Key TY LV S Device Type Completion Time #Pieces #Copies Compressed Tag
    910 B 0 A DISK 18-APR-10 1 1 NO TAG20100418T020007
    945 B 0 A DISK 25-APR-10 1 1 NO TAG20100425T020007
    But when i run ‘restore database preview summary’ to see the backup set list to restore

    there's no backup set 945 at all. that's why i could not restore data file under '/usr/local/oracle/backup/20100425/' at the second time.
    So, why two backup list is different ? how can i restore datafile under '/usr/local/oracle/backup/20100425/' ?
    My backup script is below:
    run{
    allocate channel c1 type disk;
    backup incremental level 0 as backupset format '$DIR/`date +%Y%m%d`/data_%d_c0_%T_%u' database;
    sql 'alter system archive log current';
    backup archivelog from time 'sysdate-14' format '$DIR/`date +%Y%m%d`/log_%d_%T_%u';
    backup current controlfile format '$DIR/`date +%Y%m%d`/ctl_%d_%T_%I_%u';
    release channel c1;
    Thanks

    My purpose is to use the newest backupset of Server A to update Server B. So if Server A crush, Server B will be useful. Is there any other way to do that ?
    retention policy :'configure retention policy to redundancy 4'
    And Server A do LV0 backup every 7 day, and do LV1 backup ervery other day.

  • Can I save data in a snapshot from signal express 2013 LE?

    Can I save data (in txt or excel format) from a snapshot from signal express 2013 LE?  My data buffer is too larege to export to excel.  When I try to take a snapshot, I do not see any data.  Are snapshots supported in the LE mode?  This is the free version that comes with the USB 6009 ADC.

    Yes, the snapshot function is available for SignalExpress 2013 LE. Does the snapshot function as intended when you try other projects?
