W700 Win7 x64 blue screen after screen replacement

Hopefully somebody has a solution for this issue. Recently I sent my W700 in for a screen replacement and when I received it back, I installed my HD (Win7 x64 Ultimate) and the system would blue screen.
I tried all the different start up options and all failed with a blue screen
The blue screen goes away so fast I cannot see what it is telling me
Sometimes as it is attemption to boot I will see a screen that states "The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible"
I attempted a repair and see the following (the repair fails)
Windows Boot Mgr
ID 9DEA862C-5CDD-4E70-ACC1-F32B344D4795
Startup option will be added
Name: Win Recovery Env (Recovered)
Path: Recovery\103c3ec-e604-11de-a4f7-8c999d1797b9\Winre.wim
Windows Device: Partition-E476835 MB)
A copy of the current boot configuration data will be saved as D:\Boot\BCD.Backup.0001
I click Repair & Restart, the system blue screens when it boots
In that I was using my "production disk" I switched to the previous Win7 x64 Ultimate drive I had in the system - same failure and results with this drive as well
I then switched to the Vista drive that was in the system when I received it 0 same failure and results with this drive as well
I then installed a new 500GB drive and started a new build - this worked but I'm having trouble getting Outlook x32 2010 to work with my previous Outlook.pst file
I've restored the MBR and the 100MB partition on one of my Win7 drives using the MBR and 100MB partition from the new working drive - still I get the blue screen.
I need one of two solutions (as I see it)
Get my production Win7 x64 drive working (this is the drive that blue screens)
Get the new HD with the new Win7 build working with Outlook.
I've talked to the support center they don't know what is going on but offered to ship the W700 back and look at it. If they could not resolve the issue they would reimage the HD. This is not an acceptable solution. I already know that if I rebuild the HD it will work.

  • USB727 Windows 7 x64 Blue Screen of Death BSOD

    Hi,
Every time I use my Verizon USB727 on Windows 7 x64, after removing, when I try and suspend (sleep) my laptop I get a BSOD. I have a Lenovo T500. I am running in NDIS mode.
This worked great under Vista x32.
If I shutdown my laptop before removing the adapter all is well, however I'd like to put it to sleep as I often travel from place to place and I like to resume my work where I left off. The issue seems to be Windows can't put the device into a sleep state and unload/suspend the Novetel drivers. Without using the USB727, I have no issues. The suspend will hang trying to suspend. Sometimes it will go back to locked screen. After 5-20 minutes the BSOD occurs and the laptop reboots itself.
Windows x64 Enterprise Edition -- all latest MS updates applied as of 12/18/2010
    VZaccess Manager v7.2.1.2 (2420b)
I have called support and all they can tell me is, there are no reported problems and I have the latest drivers.

    Hello Suzerain,
First of all, upgrade BIOS to the latest version, remove all unnecessary hardware devices from the computer and try entering Windows safe mode to test whether it is a third-party software/hardware compatibility issue. If so, please download and run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to check the reason for the issue. If the issue is caused by some incompatible driver, you might go to Device Manager, right click your hardware device in the list and select Update Driver Software; then click Search automatically for updated driver software.
If you still get the BSOD error after installing the latest driver, please understand that Windows system uses separated user mode and kernel mode memory space, stop errors are always caused by kernel portion components, such as a hardware device, third-party drivers, backup software or anti-virus services (buggy services).
The system goes to a blue screen because there is some exceptions happened in the kernel (either the device driver errors or the service errors), and Windows implements this mechanism: When it detects some errors occur in the kernel, it will kill the box in case some more severe damage happens. Then we get a blue screen or the system reboots (it depends on what the system settings are).
To troubleshoot this kind of kernel crash issue, we need to debug the crashed system dump. Unfortunately, debugging is beyond what we can do in the forum. A suggestion would be to contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged call.
To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a look at the web site listed below:

I hope the problem will be resolved soon. Thanks!

  • Blue screen while installing Boot Camp support software in Win7 Ultimate x64

2012 macbook pro with OSX Mavericks. Installing Win7 ultimate x64 using boot camp assistant and a USB drive went flawlessly. Then I downloaded and installed the boot camp support software from support.apple.com/kb/DL1638
Running setup.exe bluescreens my computer and makes the windows partition unbootable after that, even in safe mode. I performed a system restore to roll back the boot camp software and booted again, and checked the log file. It pointed to an intel USB driver. I then deleted IntelxHCI from the Drivers/Intel folder, ran setup.exe again, and everything installed perfectly.
My question is: what is the Intel usb 3 extensible host controller, why is it included in the support software, and why does it immediately brick my Windows partition?

I have re-installed Windows 7 about 20 times already, I am experiencing the same problem as you are. The issue must be some kind of driver being installed by Boot Camp. When I leave my fresh Windows 7 install with no Boot Camp, the error or blue screen never occurs. This is weird.
    Help please Apple...

  • Raid0 blue screen after W7 install 890fxa-gd70

Im having a bit of an issue.  I have a pair of WD640gb drives and i wanted to go raid0
So i set them up got stripping set and everything seems ok.
I actually install win7 x64 premium just fine but for some reason i can only use the w7 32 drivers.
when the computer does the first restart after the install, it blue screens.
Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Envy 15t 3200 blue screen after graphics install

    Hi everyone,
I'm an IT professional working on a client's HP Envy 15t-3200 notebook PC (Win 7 x64, Intel i7, AMD 7700 series)
He said (he thinks) after installing a recent windows update, it started blue screening on him with a graphics error.
He restored his PC to factory install, and it was working fine until he installed windows updates and the graphics drivers again, receiving the same blue screen graphics error.
I picked up his laptop. I installed a slipstream of windows 7 that I created. Everything worked fine - as soon as I installed his graphics drivers.
First, I had installed the AMD drivers (from AMD, not HP). I thought everything was working fine, until I checked the device manager and saw that the AMD graphics were being disabled, and the laptop was reverting to the generic graphics driver. I also tried the older driver offered on HPs support page.
I uninstalled the AMD graphics, and installed the Intel graphics. As soon as they were installed, upon restarting I received the same original blue screen error and had to result in booting to safe mode and performing system restore.
When I install the AMD graphics without installing Intel graphics, it reverts itself to Generic graphics. The AMD graphics adapter shows a Code 43 in the device manager, stating that the device has stopped working because it has reported problems.
I played around with different versions of AMD graphics which did not resolve the issue, and I installed different versions of the Intel graphics, which still caused a blue screen.
The PC is working ONLY with the generic graphics drivers, which doesn't work for what my client wants to be able to do (gaming).
    I found this - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c04121863&tmp_task=solveCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&la...
on the troubleshooting page for this notebook, and tried using this solution which also did not resolve the issue.
I've checked temperatures of the laptop and nothing is anywhere near overheating.
I don't know what else to try. My client said he will live with it and just not use it for gaming anymore, but that is not good enough for me - I've offered to continue finding a resolution for him free of charge.
Any help would be very appreciated, this is extremely annoying
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

Reformatting the hard disk and installing the OS again may or may not help.
I would consider rolling back to a system restore checkpoint where the issue all began, testing it and if it works turn off Windows updates on the notebook.
Unfortunately, this notebook model requires replacing the system board. I wish I had better news for you on this, but I do not.
You can see that in the Maintenence & Service guide.
The larger notebooks have the graphics adapter module as a seperately replaceable unit.

  • IPhone 6 Blue Screen Crash Now my Phone will not stop crashing: Has Not turned back on after last crash.

I very recently got my new iPhone 6. I got it on new years eve. I'm not sure what version of the OS it is on, but I'm going to assume it is on the latest, 8.1.2. Today has been the only day i have had an issue. Earlier in the day the phone froze and the Wifi was showing to only have one bar. They Phone then shut off and flashed a red screen for about a second. After that, I had no issues for a few hours. Later that night the phone crashed three times. 2 of them showed a blue screen before crashing. The third time the phone would not let me open any apps and then just shut down, and as of right now it has not turned back on. Is there a way to fix this or am I going to have to replace my phone?

I was able to turn it on but when I turned on WiFI the apps would not open and the phone crashed again and turned off.

  • 3 Dead Pixels after Blue Screen crash, should I make another Genius Bar appointment?

Ok, so yesterday I made a GB appointment, after a friend told me to, when I showed him that I had a dead pixel on my phone's screen. So when I got to apple, I showed them the dead pixel and they told me they were going to replace the screen on the phone. It turned out that the machine they use to do so, was down, so they ended up giving me a replacement phone. So I checked it out at the store and it looked fine. So now today, while running some errands, my new replacement iPhone had crashed and turned blue, then rebooted on me & a few moments after when I got back on the phone and was imessaging, I noticed 3 dead pixels instantly (one on right under the names of the contact on the message, on the J key on the board and to the middle-right where your send messages are displayed)
Now I'm thinking that, because my originally iPhone had crashed and turned blue also and I noticed the one dead pixel on it that same day, that the blue screen crashing could possibly be causing this??
Should I go back to the apple store and tell them what happened?

(Update) the pixels actually all seem to be red, whenever I go on a yellow screen and I just noticed a fourth one.    I think I should take my phone in

  • Blue Screen on Domain controllers after Updates

After patching our Domain controllers (virtual on ESXi 5.5 U2) recently we started getting Blue screens and reboots. Other changes in our environment around this time include enabling vshield drivers and scanning with Trend Micro. I have removed patches
from April but cannot remove Patch KB3020370 - there is no uninstall button. The error still persists, I have removed the Vshield driver and am waiting to see if the issue reoccurs. Can anyone assist in interpreting the details below? Also is it possible to
remove the patch KB3020370? This only appeart to affect Domain Controllers, regular servers appear unaffected.

    Hi,
    Dump file displays:
    BugCheck 7F, {8, 80050031, 406f8, fffff800018d4e14} and Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!KiDoubleFaultAbort+b2 ).
Bug check 0x7F typically occurs after you install a faulty or mismatched hardware (especially memory) or if installed hardware fails.
A double fault can occur when the kernel stack overflows. This overflow occurs if multiple drivers are attached to the same stack. For example, if two file system filter drivers are attached to the same stack and then the file system recurses back in, the stack
    overflows.
You may reference the link below for detailed resolution about this problem:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff559244(v=vs.85).aspx
Besides, you may try to restore the server to the state before installing these Windows Update.

  • Blue screen only after leopard install. HELP!!!!

Here is what I did. I installed Leopard on my MacBook Pro and it booted perfectly. I did the upgrade option so I wouldn't lose my editing and graphics software. I decided to upgrade my Dual 867 MDD, which has a Sonnettech 1.67 processor for mirrored drive door macs. This is where the **** has come in. For the first attempt, I installed the upgrade on the system drive with was only an 80gig drive with 14 gigs left. After I came back in from letting the install go overnight, my computer monitor only showed a blue screen and the mouse arrow. i can move the mouse arrow around which is a good sign. I got frustrated and then took out the 80 gig system drive and replaced it with a carbon copy backup drive of 10.4.11. This replacement drive is a 120gig 7200 rpm PATA drive. I then installed Leopard on that drive, got the success checkmark at the end and rebooted. Again, the blue screen came back with a functional arrow. My only guess is that the low end ATI card (the original that came with the Dual 867's) is somehow flipped or reversed, preventing me from accessing the dock and system functions. I don't know of a keystroke that will flip them. Why would the mouse be functional and nothing else? The card has a HDMI port, albeit one of the older ones that is rounded and not square. At this point, I"m stuck on blue screen with roving mouse.I also could not get the install CD to eject, even when holding the eject key during the restart. I finally got it out. After a third reboot, I got the dreaded error message of death stating to restart. Any suggestions?

where can i get migration assistant? will carbon copy not do? my situation is worse now. i don't know why i forgot to go with archive and install and chose upgrade. life is **** for my g4 now. the new situation is that if i choose archive and install or the clean install option, there is an error message at the end saying the install failed and that there is an error with the disc. I have also seen an error message saying the install failed due to not finding the oxford dictionary something. on top of that, i can't reboot into OS9 because leopord alters or deletes an important extension that the sonnettech processor needs. they sent me the new file and once i overcome these failed install issues i can add that new file. oh well. wonder how vista installs are going?

  • Blue screen after installing windows update

I get this error message after I install the windows updates. I have the K8n Neo Platinum with Nvidia Nforce 3 250gb chipset. I am running XP X64. Here is what it says. stop: c000021a (fatal system error) this session manager initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000263 (0x00000000 0x00000000) the system has been shut down.
It then goes into a reboot mode and comes back with the same blue screen error code.
    Help

I e-mailed MSI tech support today also about the problem. A month ago I did the same thing. The tech said "oh I haven't heard of that happening before"  So thanks for the link. I can't wait to get the "haven't had that happen before" DUUHHHH again. I will just link them. A month ago I wrote went through about 10 of the updates. Doing a re-install, updating and see what happens. I wrote down a couple of them that cause problems. It was just way to much work to time consuming so I just stopped.
I don't quite understand that voltage thing with the processor. I would think you should be able to set the bios to "fail safe setting" and it should run and do everything.
It don't look like they posted a fix for this problem. But I didn't install any of the security updates anyways. I wonder if it is just my Motherboard or what. There must be someone out there who is running x64 with one of these boards.
    thanks again.

  • Blue Screen of Death After Trying To Install Windows On Pavilion ze4900?

After my hard drive died in my Pavilion ze4900, I replaced it with another notebook hard drive I had laying around.I also tried installing Windows XP home from a Windows installation CD, the same OS the laptop had before the hard drive died. All went well until the laptop was done loading all the installation files, instead of giving me the option to either install Windows or repair Windows, the laptop ends up showing me a blue screen with the message: " A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer." What can I do to resolve this issue? I have installed Windows XP on another computer using the same CD, so the CD hasn't gone corrupt and the replacement hard drive is barely used. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

, Hello and thanks for posting on the HP support forums.  The first thing you will want to check is if there are any issues with the hard drive you put in.  Run the BIOS diagnostics for the hard drive and the hard ware to make sure there are no issues. HP Notebook PCs - System Diagnostics (F2) And. HP Notebook PCs - Testing a Hard Disk from the BIOS Please let me know how things go. Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

  • Iphone won't power on after screen replacement

So I've dropped my Iphone 4S once and screen showed blue vertical lines. I replaced the screen for about $120. After 6 months or so I dropped it again and the screen cracked. I decided to replace the screen on my own so I got a new one and replaced it, but the phone doesn't power on after the screen replacement. I plugged it on charger, did a hard reset but still nothing. I plugged it on pc and it was recognized by the itunes! As it was plugged on pc, I did a reboot again and it left itunes as if it was powered on and suddenly powered off. Still plugged in I tried to power it on again, it was recognized again by the itunes but the screen still wasn't working. Another thing is that it burns a lot without even being on charger or on pc, and I need to take the battery off.

Sorry. There's not much we can suggest. Apple won't touch that phone now.
Try looking for advice someplace like ifixit.com.
