-- badly soldered video chip
-- Allan Jones
    There were several Mac models with flat panel displays that had bad displays. Most had serial
    numbers beginning with "W8"---the code for one specific factory. This affected PowerBooks
    as well. If that's the case, the rest of the computer is probably fine.

My iMAC G5 17 inch doesn't react to the on/off switch anymore. The computer switched off as a result of a failure inside, while playing music.

My suggestion is that the Power Supply is the problem, because the computer doesn't react to any attempt to make it work.

bij windows update staat er dat de map adobe photoshop daar niet in zit !
adobe organizer opent zich wel !

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

I'm concerned that this is a virus. It does not look like it's related to Apple or the imac OS.

That sounds like a kernel panic. These are generally hardware related, often caused by poorly seated or fauly RAM.

Ik kan elements 12 organizer niet meer openen. Icoon staat gewoon in dashboard, als ik erop klik verschijnt de info in de balk van mijn Macbook Pro, maar het programma is niet op het scherm te zien. HELP!?

Download and use Find Any File to search on your Time Machine volume for "Domain.sites2". The reason you can't find it via the Finder or Spotlight is because it is an invisible folder. Find Any File can search invisible folders and will find it.
It can take a while for the search results to finish but it will find them.

Mijn iPad kan ineens het WiFi-netwerk niet meer vinden. Wifi is wel actief, mijn computer en iphone vinden het netwerk zonder problemen. Ik heb de Ipad opnieuw geïnstalleerd en gesynchroniseerd via de computer maar ook dat helpt niet.

after a lot of trying and contacting the Apple support in the netherlands...... it is recognized by iTunes and iPod updater. it look like it works but it is not possible to disconnect the iPod. I'll tryed the hard way, and have the next problem; the display of my iPod sign up with the Apple-logo and map-attention, the hard disc is working and
it is not possible to reset the iPod. also read and tryed the the next issue

Ik vroeg mij af waarom op 28 september Tmobile 10000 iPhones kon afleveren terwijl Apple meteen een levertijd heeft van 3 a 4 weken.
Je zou toch verwachten als ''het'' bedrijf dat jij juist die gene bent die 10000 stuks kan verzenden ipv een premium reseller?
Lijkt mij veel logischer dan wanneer een andere aanbieder zoals tmobile of vodafone er zoveel kan verzenden.
Waarom kan Apple dit zelf niet?

Mijn niet-lege prullenbakken verdwijnen als ik Thunderbird afsluit, dus ik kan niets meer deleten, hoe kan ik dit herstellen?

Ik gebruik meerdere e-mail accounts in Thunderbird, en de prullenbakken (de mappen) verdwijnen stuk voor stuk. Ik heb een tijdlang de mappen automatisch laten leegmaken bij afsluiten. Dat werkte een tijdlang normaal, maar op een gegeven moment niet meer - toen verdwenen de mappen. Ik had er nog drie over, en ik heb de instelling teruggezet naar NIET automatisch legen bij afsluiten, maar nu is er weer een verdwenen die ik vermoedelijk (ik weet het niet zeker) per ongeluk niet geleegd heb alvorens af te sluiten. Ik moet nu steeds te verwijderen berichten naar een prullenbak van een ander account slepen, maar ik kom nu helemaal in de gevarenzone, waar ik niets meer kan verwijderen.
Hoe kan ik de prullenbakken weer herstellen, zodat elk account weer zijn eigen prullenbak heeft, die niet meer verwijderd wordt bij afsluiten?

Nu kom ik te horen dat het niet eens gaat om een YUI-tooltip maar een SPRY-tooltip. Welke is het nou?

I'm trying 2 weeks now to get hotmail open in firefox. I can open hotmail in IE but i can not use my Hotmail account in Firefox.
I can not log in the hotmail-signpage.
When I click on a message in the inbox, i can't open my messages, nothing would open.
Hotmail works with IE, and also with Firefox in Mozilla Safe Mode.
I dont know if i use Fox-it Reader plugin, where to find Fox-it Reader plugin.
I cleaned history, remove all cookies, and hotmail still wont open my messages on firefox.
I'm not a computer person and my english is not good at all.
Hopefully you can help me to use my hotmailaccount in Firefox again.
