working on os 10.7.5 -- i always have lots of tabs open. i hit command-n to open a new window and was hijacked -- no way out, a window that did not fully load, a check box but no info … i have a screen shot of the window. i LOVE firefox, please tell me i haven't lost all of my history … this window overtook all others, nothing else was functioning ...

I have just purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Standard. I received all the appropriate emails with serial numbers etc. I go into my Adobe account so I can download the content and I cannot read the page as all the page content is in symbols. Are you having trouble with other websites, or just with Adobe? Let's start by clearing the browser cache, and logging back in to http://www.adobe.com. You may also want to try a different web browser as well. Are you able to download Acrobat from this page: Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X?
If you're still having issues when you're looking at your account on Adobe.com and downloading Acrobat, let us know. If you write back, please let us know what browser you're using, and whether you're on Mac OS or Windows.

I have a screen shot of the problem, I can send it to you. The first thing I tried was a zoom on your header. It looks like some things in your header were anchored to the right while others anchored to the left. When the zoom occurred they met in the middle.

IF RESET DOESN'T WORK, FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTunes and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note: Data will be lost

There is a possibility that your digitizer has malfunctioned. I had a similar problem on my iphone 3gs whereas the lower left part of my screen didnt respond to touch at all. Take your phone to an Apple store and have them fix it for you. I fixed my iphone 3gs' digitizer by replacing it myself because my phone was out of warranty, and there arent any Apple stores nearby. But you should definitely take your phone to Apple store and let them fix it for you, because in order to replace digitizer on iphone 4, you really need to be skillful when it comes to phone repairs,and attemting any repairs yourself voids your warranty. You should be able to go > App Store > App store (menu) > store > view my account > sign in. Where do you vary after following this point. In between ID summary and Settings should be a section marked iTunes in the cloud and directly below but within that section, the message we are seeking.
I'm not doubting you, just don't see why you have this problem.

There are three steps so make sure you follow all of them. They are:
remove iTunes and everthing related to it
verify everything is really removed
reinstall iTunes.

Sorry, but the warranty for the phone is only valid in the country where you bought the device, and you can't send it in, Apple does not ship internationally.
Has the phone been officially unlocked? Only the carrier can unlock an iPhone.

You need a Sim inside the iPhone to activate it. If the iPhone is locked to a carrier, you need a Sim from that carrier. The person who sold you the iPhone should be able to give you that information, but if it is not available, you need to get it from Apple Care. Call them.

There is a problem with iMessage with what Apple says is a small number of iPhones and they are working on a fix. In the meantime try this:
1. Settings > Messages > iMessage = Off
2. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = Off
3. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
4. Wait for the iPhone to Reboot
5. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = On
6. Settings > Messages > iMessage = On
You may have to repeat the steps a couple of times.
