Wacom Intous Pro 5 Windows 8.1 = Lag, Ring around clicks and sick scroll
I recently bought a PC with Windows 8.1 Pro, I am a long time Mac user so this is new to me.. But my main tool, the Wacom does not work as it should. I get a ring around averything i touch and it's not as fast as I am used too (on my Mac Pro from 2008....). I have tried to update windows to latest drivers and updates, same for the Wacom 6.3.11w3. I am starting to regret this switch..
I have similar issues with my Twist, running Intel Core i7 1.9GHz processor; 8GB RAM; 256GB SSD Since upgrading to Windows 10, my mouse and keyboard are extremely laggy and glitchy, sometimes to the point where it's almost unbearable to be able to do anything on the computer. I have reinstalled and updated all drivers multiple times, and tried various mice and keyboard set ups. I have also run Troubleshooter. All to no avail. I have also rolled back to 8.1 three times, and each time my machine runs lightning fast with no mice or keyboard issues. Until,of course, I upgrade to Windows 10 I have three possible causes at the moment: 1) Are you using a second monitor, and using a DisplayLInk dock by any chance? 2) I have a Synaptics track pointer and Synaptics track pad, both built in, so that is also a possibility for me, although I also use and have tested external Microsoft and Logitech USB mice and they also lag severly at times. 3) Like the Yoga, my Twist coverts between laptop and tablet, so I'm thinking that Windows 10 doesn't deal with that very well. It could be treating my PC as a tablet, because there is no problem with the touch screen. How about you? I think Microsoft and Lenovo need to work together a bit faster to solve such issues.

I installed windows 7 on my iMac 21.5 (late 2009) and when I boot windows 7, the lag drivers are missing and bootcamp is not installed. The windows package would not download through bootcamp, even when left alone for 2 hours. Don't have the lion disk... Drivers seem impossible to get. Please help!

Using Firefox 3.6 after a few mouse click/ keyboard input the firefox window is no more active, mouse click and keyboard input is inactive ;
to solve it I click on the taskbar and the keyboard is active again during a few click then it does not work any more and I click again on the task bar etc.
after several repetitions, I have to call the task manager alt+del+ctrl, then come back to the firefox window to be able to use keyboard and mouse againAttaching the picture for the tab shape I want...

Similarly clicking a link in email does not open a window. I can drag the link to Firefox and a new tab opens.
Also clicking Tools -> Add-ons does not open a tab as it used to.mha007, Thank you. I walked through your suggested solutions and finally disabled all add-ons and restarted them one by one. The culprit seems to be ViewSourceWith 0.8.11. Interestingly when it is enabled I had to go to TaskManager to force Firefox to quit.
Maybe this information will help others. I don't know if the cache clearing etc helped but I would suggest that others start but Bringing up Firefox in Safe Mode (hold shift when you select the icon), disable all add-ons and then start them one by one.
Of course if you have ViewSourceWith maybe you should just disable it first rather than go through the tedium of restarting each add-on separately. To get to the add-ons when it won't open from the toolbar type about:addons in the address area. -
I’ve got a digital camera which uses Quick Time (for Windows) to play back ‘movies’ I’ve recorded on it.
If I upgrade to Quick Time Pro for Windows will I be able to convert and export the Quick Time files to a format that my DVD players can recognize and play? If so, what is this format?

Sorry but no. DVD players require movies to be in MPEG-2, which QuickTime on Windows cannot export. You'll need to find a Windows-based video DVD creation application to be able to create disks a DVD player can handle. I can't make any recommendations, but perhaps someone else here can, or you can search the web for something like "Windows video DVD create". -
Question Final Cut Pro Viewer Window 4.5
I Have a problem with my 4.5 Final cut pro viewer window , I'am working on a project and when I Dbl click on an icon in the Browser window It gives me a white screen on the viewer window and only when I press play it will show me the clip if I push stop it will go back to the white screen, when I toggle with the curser a black x appears on the upper rt. hand corner of the white screen and nothing else. I've tried just about everything . Hope someone out there can help me

Make sure the canvas or viewer are selected then go to VIEW>CHANNELS and set it to RGB. It might be set to ALPHA.

I have somehow done away with the window to read the email without clicking and opening - I cannot figure out where to go to put it back! I do not want to click to open and read ea. email - there is too many - I want the mail boxes and the preview pane - just missing that additional window to the right - please help if you know how to get it back.
Or double click on the bar to the far right and it will reset.

Also Premiere Pro CS5 playback is almost like watching footage in slow motion, Premiere Pro is installed on the main drive but the footage is on an external drive connected with USB 2.
I'm wondering if it is just a problem with the Mac USB drivers maybe not supporting USB 2 ? (Because I have also installed Window 7 on this same MacBookPro and tested the same software "Zbrush and Premiere Pro" And they both work perfectly on the Bootcamp Windows 7 install, and so its using the same hardware so it has to be the drivers right ?)

Yosemite is messing up my Wacom Touch Intous Pro
So on top of my memory being depleted down to 15% at normal functions now because of this terrible update, I am having so many issues including one of which effects my business which I take personal. Your Yosemite patch has completely messed up my Wacom Special Edition Intous Pro tablet to the point where the touch features are unusable. I had to reinstall the drivers and reinstall photoshop 5 times just to call Wacom and fine out that its ALL YOUR FAULT APPLE!!!
The customer service at Wacom told me that there is huge amounts of completes of this exact issue with your update effecting the wacom touch feature. Since wacom released its patch 6.3.10w2 released on Nov 6th. You guys need to release a patch to fix this issue asap! I can not work with this issue effecting my workflow. I should charge you every day that you put me out, how do you like it if I did that, since you nickel and dime everyone one of your customers for everything?
You guys need to hire better programmers or stop forcing us to buy your products that dont live up to standards. I am not your regular wanna fan boy mac user that sits at starbucks and does nothing but check emails to look important. I actually use my Mac book to the fullest and I expect quality working products. You guys have done nothing but disappoint me with your mac book issues and iphone issues over the last 2 years! Photoshop CC brushes extremely laggy with Wacom Intuos Pro!
I've been messing around with digital painting on an iPad for a while, and just bought a Wacom Intuos Pro (medium) so I could do so on my Macs. I immediately noticed input lag from the Intuos, so started to do some testing. It doesn't appear to be the tablet. The same lag exists in Photoshop when using the Mac's trackpad, but the problem disappears entirely when I move into Corel Painter, trackpad or Intuos. Some lag exists in Illustrator, but not nearly as bad as Photoshop - Photoshop CC really seems to be the culprit.

Any thoughts? Calling Adobe first resulted in finger-pointing to Wacom (quickly squelched when I pointed out the same problem existed when using the trackpad), and then sending me a link to a 5-year-old Adobe Forum post that's for Photoshop CS4 and Wacom Intuos 4 tablets - that's 3 versions back for Photoshop and 2 versions back for the tablet. Any thoughts? Painter seems nice, but I'd really like to be able to do digital painting in Photoshop as well. This issue makes that quite a bit more difficult.I have an intuos 5 touch not the pro. However have user my son's intuos5 pro on my machine for his first pro had a bad touch ring and he wanted me to test his tablet.
I do not have a problem with normal brushes like you show in Photoshop. I can produce long delays using large wet mixed brushes though. However ever small mixer brushes work more like the brush stroke you show using painter painter on my windows workstation in Photoshop CC 14.2.1 current version and prior versions.
I using wacom driver 6.3.7.5 I see there is a version 6.3.7.6 I'll download a try that now.

Poor graphics performance on Macbook Pro with windows 7 bootcamp
I have a 13" Non-Retina Machbook Pro with Intel HD 4000 Graphics, purchased around 2 years ago. I installed Bootcamp for certain assignments for school, running Windows 7, and started playing videogames on it. I played Dark Souls and Chivalry, mainly, and both ran reliably at a pretty mediocre framerate but with decent graphics settings. I picked up Dark Souls 2 in the summer, and was able to run it and medium-high graphics with decent framerate. several months later, after not having played on Windows for a while, I came back to Dark Souls 2, but found that the game would run with this strange, pulse-y lag, like everything would animate quickly for a moment before pausing and continue again. the framerate itself was normal, it would just stutter constantly. (about one pause per second) and it wasn't a complete freeze, either. The game would move very slowly for a moment instead of freezing.
Anyway I was surprised and decided to test it with Chivalry. Same Problem. Kingdoms of Amalur, same problem. All of these were windows only so I decided to compare something that could run on both platforms. I tested it with league of legends - Mac side: Medium-high graphics with 60 fps. Windows side: Low graphics with pulsing lag and 30fps.
I read through some articles and found something about SMC reset. Tried that. No effect.
Then I updated my drivers. No effect.
Any idea what's wrong with my windows-side graphics?I have Windows 7 Pro Boot Camped on my Mac Mini (late 2012) HD 4000 as well. Nvidia driver. On a graphics intense game of mine I have learned to just get by. Unfortunately using Nvidia or other graphics driver updates through Windows Update is the best you can do. I would not attempt or recommend a newer graphics driver from the manufacture website. You may end up rendering your Windows unusable. Windows 7 has great benefits on a Mac, but, limited user options. One of my graphics intense programs had to be found and purchased from the App Store. Windows version just would not run correctly. If you are stuck with the RAM that came with your MBP, you may want to upgrade to 8 or the full 16 GB of RAM which may help. Otherwise I find Windows to run quite well. I use it for DVD playback and Media Center which runs great. I have 4 GB of RAM. Cheers!

Wacom Intuous Pro Stylus right-click working inconsistently in Lightroom 5.5
I have an Wacom Intuous Pro tablet and stylus, and have the front button configured to be a right-click.
I'm having a problem in LR 5.5 (64-bit) where the right-click function doesn't work sometimes, but it will work in Photoshop CC (14.2.1, 64-bit) just fine.
I'll tap the button on the stylus on a photo and nothing happens. I then do the same thing on the Windows 8 taskbar and right click works as expected. I got to Photoshop and right-click works fine also. So it's definitely something specific with Lightroom. Even more weird, is when this occurs, if I then double tap the stylus button, it zooms in, so this means that the right click is just acting as a left-click.
I thought this was a Wacom issue, but since it works everywhere else in Windows, including Photoshop, the problem seems isolated to LR so I'm skeptical it's a Wacom bug. I used to have this problem in LR 5, but it went away at some point, but can't remember when or why.
As mentioned above, the right-click function does work sometimes.. it's inconsistent and frustration.

I'm not sure if it is Windows, Adobe or Wacom but the solution I have is:
Open the Control Panel
Go to "Hardware & Sound", "Pen and Touch"
Choose the "Right-Click" entry on the first panel, click settings and disable it
Then turn "Flicks" off altogether on the next panel and apply the changes
I believe it is the press and hold setting for the right click that causes the interference because it also stops you from being able to drag the sliders in other applications like Capture One Pro 7.

Premiere Pro CS3 DVD Compression Audio lag
I have a project which content several camera angles.
I synch them, then puts them in my timeline with other elements such as Lowerthirds, logos, and other sub captions.
Funny enough there is a lag when the whole project is compressed for DVD burning.
Video 1 has the live feed audio file and Video 2 is simply synched with video 1.
Ounce the compression is done, Video 2 is synched with audio but not Video 1. Video1 is late.
I do not understand why since, Video 1 has the original audio file for the entire project.
However when the project is compessed for windows media player the issue disappears.
Can anyone help me with this?

PS: CS3Usually Premiere pro should send the compressed media directly to encore and burn it. But nop it doesn't work that way It bugg all the time doing that.
So I Export it via the Adobe Media Encoder then choose MPEG2-DVD
Range: Entire Sequence
Preset: NTSC Medium Quality
NTSC, 720x480, 29.97 drop frame (fps), lower, Quality 3.0
48 kHz, 16 bit, PCM
VBR, 1 Pass, min 1.50, Target 4.00, Max 7.00 (mbps)
The project is 28min 40 long and gives me a compressed file of about 2 GB.
Right there before I even burn to DVD with Encore (by importing the 2GB file as timeline),
There is an audio lag.
Then I shut Premiere pro, launch Encore, import the 2GB file as timeline hit the built key, disregard the error message and THe DVD id burned.
I don't think Encore is the problem, I think It comes from Premiere Pro. How can the Video contact the only audio file not be in synch with itself???
I am so confused...

Transfering iTunes music from Macbook Pro to Windows Vista Computer?
I just bought a Vista based computer and I wanted to use it for my music since it has a lager hard drive than my mac. How can I get my music off the mac and onto the pc? I have tried using the iPod to transfer it, but Windows will not read it since it is not formated for windows. I read that on a Apple article. At one point in time, I had taken some music off a Mac Pro or P5 desktop and put it onto my Windows XP laptop. I cannot remember how I did this though. If anyone has any suggestions, that will be great. Also would it be easier to maybe "link the two computers together"? I don't know if that is possible. You guys tell me. Thanks again for any replies on how to accomplish this or links to places that could help me. I really would like to make this work.
thanks i figured it out all i did was open ibooks and then click and dragged into a folder i made on the desktop and that worked wonderful so easy to do

Adobe Acrobat Pro in Windows 7 w/ Autocad in XP Mode- not working
I'm running Autocad Arch Desktop (ADT) in Windows XP Mode within Windows 7, and have Adobe Acrobat Pro installed in Windows 7. Unfortunately, no "Adobe PDF" pulldown was created within ADT once Adobe Pro was installed, and there isn't any sign of Adobe in ADT (normally, Adobe automatically installs pulldowns within ADT once installed). Adobe and ADT function normally otherwise. Does anyone know how to get Adobe Acrobat Pro in Windows 7 to recognize and work with ADT in Windows XP Mode?
Can you tell me how to set the defaults to Courier 10pt font? I tried select all and it's grayed out, but that was after the
fact. Where are the original default presets?
