Wacom Intuos III in CS4 64 bit - isn't work at all - help?

Hello!
I've just barely built myself a new computer and am running Vista 64bit. I downloaded the trail version of Photoshop CS4 64 bit to play around and I noticed my tablet (Wacom Intuos 3) is not working in the program. I move my pen and nothing happens for a long while. After about 5 seconds, the cursor will move maybe 2cm but is largely unresponsive. Completely useless for painting/animating.
Is there anything I can do? All my photoshop work is tablet based so I'm starting to freak out just a little bit here. I'd really appreciate any help/advice . Thanks!

I've tried everything listed and unfortunately nothing works.
I was only using the trail to see if it was worth upgrading now that I have Vista 64 bit, and in the meantime I've re-installed CS3 on my new computer... only to discover my tablet isn't working in CS3 either... I wonder if it's time to panic yet!
ETA: I'm positive this isn't a problem with my tablet as it's working fine in other programs on this PC and on my other PC. Sadly, that pc is an ancient relic so it's not as if I could use any version of CS on it.
UPDATE:
Disabling Vista's Tablet PC Input Service in Administrative Tools under the Control Panel is now allowing me to use my tablet in CS (it will at least move now). However, there is no pressure sensitivity.

Have you performed a reset? Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons and await restart.

NAC ADSSO with NAC Module isn't working for all modules

Hello,
We have a NAC OOB-L2-VG Deployment at the Central Site with VLAN Mapping and ADSSO which works just fine.
As part of the project we have implemented NAC Modules on ISR routers for the branch offices; same topology but as the documentation states no VLAN mapping was configured. The problem is that for some users in one branch office the ADSSO isn't working and in another branch office the ADSSO isn't working at all, all the users are getting authenticated with a local user we defined on the servers.
The configuration in both modules is exactly the same; they are using the same user to access the AD (the one used on the ktpass) the data links to the central site are both 1 Mbps and everything is pretty much the same thing.
I have checked the logs on the CAS-Module and it states that Windows SSO is running:

The IP address 172.19.5.11 is the IP of the PC during the unauthenticated role; what the user is finally seeing is the CCA Agent asking for user and password instead of using the ADSSO.
The version of the Agent is 4.1.10, the NAS and NAM are running 4.1.8 and the only ackword thing is that the Active Directory Servers are running Windows 2000 SP4.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Erratic pen pressure with Wacom Intuos 3 in CS4

Very light paint strokes on my Wacom Intuos 3 produce a full force stroke in CS4 every 3 to 15 strokes. Anybody else have this problem?
This does not happen with CS2. Also, using the Wacom diagnostics, I can make endless light strokes and never see the pressure go above 16%.
I'm using CS4 11.0.1, Wacom driver 6.1.1-3, Nvidia GeForce 6800 with drivers updated 8/10/2009, Windows XP.

Wacom has just released a new driver version that some say has cleared up the pen pressure problems:

I can't seem to get support for my iphone, i need to contact apple because it isn't working at all , and it says it cannot process my request and to try again later, what can I do?

My Iphone 4 isn't working, It got wet and now I have it in a bag of rice. I heard that I should not try to turn it on or mess with the power button, so I haven't. It makes sounds when I get a text message but the screen is blank., I have tried to contact apple support online and it tries to send my iphone a message, but because it doesnt work, I can't receive it, so if I decline the "health check" then it says that it's "unable to complete my request at this time. Please try again in a few minutes or start over now." I have tried this several times and it's still not letting get any help. I don't know what to do. Someone please help. How did you get help with your phone when it got messed up or damaged?

A wet phone is out of warranty. This is considered user damage. Even if you were able to get it to start now, the chances of it working for long are slim. I suggest going to Apple and see about an OOW replacement. One for the iPhone 4 is only $149USD and it would come with a short warranty. It is a refurbished device and you would not be worried about encountering additional problems.

my screen is shattered and the LCD isn't working i can still get messages and siri still works. i was wondering is my stuff in my phone gone?

If the device has been used as designed, it would have been regularly backed up to iTunes on the computer or iCloud and there would be minimal data loss since the last backup.

HT5012 My Touch ID isn't working at all since I updated to IOS 7.1

Well, a few hours ago I updated to iOS 7.1 and now my Touch ID isn't working. I even deleted my fingerprints and tried re-entering them, and the phone won't even detect my fingerprint. Please help me!

After the update/reset/restore/ >48 hours, fingerprints do not work. First you need use the passcode.

Upgraded to DW CC 2014.1, FTP/SFTP isn't working at all

There's a HostNexus webserver I usually connect to but since I upgraded to DW CC 2014, it only spits back errors. I can connect successfully to the server in FileZilla (using FTP explicit). I've looked through the forum and tried various suggestions but none have worked:
tried all the FTP modes

Yes, I know this forum has users like me and it's not Apple. I was only venting and, showing my frustration for Apple. You said if I wanted more help I need to give more info...
What kind of info? like what kind of Apple computers I have? the specs? etc. I know I need Itunes on a PC as well to add movies to my Iphone 4s but, I also have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and, that phone all I do is Plug it in to my PC and from there on it's really easy because it gives me the option to let my PC see it as a external HDD to where I can litteraly drag my movies that I want into it.. And, boom! I'm done. With Apple is like oh my god, you need this you need that you need the other thing.. Blah Blah Blah LOL.... But, I'm a stubborn bull and I want to add movies to my Iphone 4s. So, what I do is the following, I plug in my iphone 4s to my macbook pro and Itunes launches by itself, then I click on the iphone 4s on the upperr right corner, right after a list appears with all my music, then I click on where it says Movies on the upper left, then I try to drag a movie into the list and there's an error message that appears telling me that the movie wasn't copied to my iphone because it can't be played.... at this point I gave up and here I am asking for help.

I also have a Imac which I have put away since we just moved in so, I can't remember the specs but it's about 2 - 3 years older than my macbook pro... This is an old story.
There is a Text Style issue only in the Expert workspace of Premiere Elements 12.
Adobe remedied that situation by going from 12 to the 12.1 Update via an opened project's Help Menu/Update. Have you been there and done that?
Before the Adobe 12.1 Update, the workaround was to do the Text Style in the Quick workspace and work between the two workspaces.
Please let us know if that 12.1 works for you.

My Clipping Path isn't working? Please help...

I am working in Photoshop CS4 on Mac. I have followed the steps below to create a clipping path:
* Opened image that I want to add a clipping path to
* Selected the part of the image that I wanted to clip (with the eliptical marquee tool)
* On the Paths tab, selected "Make Work path"
* In the pop-up box tolerance is set to 0,5pixels
* I can now see an outline of a shape on the image
* In the Paths tab - double clicked on the work path and saved the path as "Path 1"
* Select the created path on the path tab and then chose "Clipping Path" from the tab dropdown
* Left "Flatness" blank in the pop-up provided
* The name "Path 1" now looks outlined in the paths tab
I have tried to save the image as a JPG, PNG, TIF... RGB and CMYK... nothing seems to work. The entire image still previews.
I turned off OpenGL and there are no layer styles applied to the image. There is only one layer in the file. I am very confused... this function used to work and now for some reason it doesn't. Are there any other settings linked to creating a clipping path that i may have changed by mistake without knowing it would affect this?

Tiff format definetly works - i have used it in the past. I just tried EPS and the clipping path works - so thank you!
It seems that I have been a bit stupid though... I just realised my error - to check if the clipping path was applying correctly, I have been opening the clipped image in Preview... It seems that Preview can't "see" the clipping path on a .tif and it "sees" the area outside the clipping path on an .eps as "flattened" (so i see a hard white background, when i am expecting it to be transparent). I just imported the .eps and .tif into Indesign and Illustrator and the clipping path applies fine in both cases. it seems that the real issue is between Mac and PC.... I am running Adobe on Mac and Corel Draw on PC... Corel Draw seems to have an issue with .eps and .tif files with clipping paths.
png works in Corel Draw but transparency causes distortion for elements behind the transparent section... will keep trying :-)
...this is the story of my life! I hate working on PC but every now and then a client gives me a file where the artwork has been created in Corel Draw and I'm faced with these anomolies...

Photoshop EPS (.eps): EPS stands for Encapsulated PostScript format, which is based on the PostScript printing language. Most .eps graphics are created and edited in a draw (vector) application like Illustrator, and when you open an Illustrator vector .eps image in Photoshop, Photoshop will still convert it to pixels. As such, an Illustrator .eps doesn't have the same editable properties as a Photoshop .eps graphic so don't confuse the two. Photoshop .eps format is primarily used for creating images with clipping paths and monotone/duotones. It used to be that an image with a clipping path could only be saved as in .eps format in Photoshop. This is no longer true with later versions of Photoshop where you can save graphics with clipping paths in .tif format as well. When you create a monotone or duotone image in Photoshop, it is still best to save it in this .eps graphic file format, although .psd and .pdf options are also available.

Adobe Prelude CC Search Function isn't working correctly? HELP!

In need of some help, I am using the "tag" feature in prelude CC, tagging clips with multiple words IE "Day One, Interview, Ben"
When searching the footage the clips can be seen if I type the words "Day One" or "Ben" however if I type them back to back IE: "Day One Ben" Prelude can't find any footage.
I really need to be able to search for multiple tags/comments at once. Have tried this in Premiere CC and it works perfectly just Prelude isn't.
Has anyone else had this problem or can suggest a fix of how to search for multiple tags/comments.

Prelude currently searches for exact string matches - including punctuation.
We are looking into providing a more capable search engine in the future.
