WAD 3.x-Hiding the Navigation Icon

Hi Experts,
In WAD, I want to hide the "Drilldown in Columns" button and display only the "Drilldown in Rows".
I have checked the SHOW_NAVIGATION_ICONS. This enables both Drill on Rows and Drill on Columns.
For both Rows and Free Characteristics I need to display only Drilldown in Rows button.
Is this possible ?? some kindof HTML coding may be??
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

How do you hide the CSA icon in the systray?

If you still want to allow user interaction, but not have the flag visible by default - just remove the shortcut from start-programs-startup folder.
That way clients can still access the agent console through start-programs-cisco security agent.

  • Hiding the speaker icon

I just bought my daughter a new iPad 2 and the speaker icon stays up on the screen.  We have not found a way to hide the icon.  Can you help?

Yes you do. It's the round real button underneath your screen.

  • Hiding the Navigation Pane RH11 Responsive

Quite a while back, in Multiscreen days, I asked if it was possible to hide the left hand navigation pane in a simple project.
There were several helpful replies which were much appreciated. I need to ask the question again, but this time for a Responsive layout
    Any tips?
    Thanks

You may want to start with my webinar on this: http://www.wvanweelden.eu/blog/2014/08/20/recording-beyond-wizard-editing-html5-layouts-ro bohelp-11
This goes over all the motions for removing Index/Glossary but it works the same for the TOC.

  • Hiding the navigation pane in multiscreen layout

I am creating a small project which is just a supervisory page to launch other projects, and the nav pane is not needed.  Is there a way to prevent it from showing?
There was a thread in the WebHelp forum, which seemed relevant but I could not pursue it properly

WebHelp skins and Multiscreen HTML5 layouts are very different animals and the simplest option would be to create an HTML page created in Dreamweaver or similar. If you want that page developed in Rh for some reason, perhaps just to keep the theme, then it will require editing using a different editor from the one used for webhelp. It is way more complex and you may find you need to use someone who specialises in that work. Willam van Weelden is based in Holland and he would be my recommendation. Depending on what you want to spend, Willam could alternatively design a unique layout for your range of products.

  • How do you create a new page which does not appear on the navigation bar?

I am creating a website and have designed the top pages. Some of these pages have sub pages but I can't work out how to create them. Please could someone advise me?
    Many thanks.

Welcome to the discussions. You can find answers to such questions by searching here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/index?page=search
    Entering: iWeb navigation
...in the first search bar comes up with these documents in the list:
_Preventing a webpage from appearing in the navigation menu_

Note that iWeb can't produce sub-pages +per se+ — i.e. ones that drop down from an item (page) in the navigation bar.

  • How do I make Crystal report viewer navigation icons display

Visual Studio 8 accessing Crystal Reports Server 11 r2 using development web server.
Report renders just fine in viewer but none of the viewer icons seem to find their image - all appear as X.
    Debugging shows the src for icons is "this.src='/crystalreportviewers11/images/toolbar/(gif name)" such as "this.src='/crystalreportviewers11/images/toolbar/export_over.gif'".   I have such a directory\file in c:\program files\common files\business objects\3.0\crystalreportviewers11\images\toolbar\export_over.gif .
perhaps related or a different problem: I get java script error when trying to print or export the rendered report: "Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support this action" pointing to line: print = false;crystal_postback="<input type='hidden' name='__EVENTTARGET' value='myCrystalReportViewer'><input type='hidden' name='__EVENTARGUMENT' value='export'><input type='hidden' name='__LASTFOCUS' value=''><input type='hidden' name='__VIEWSTATE' etc.
I see that java src is in the same neighborhood as the missing images: "JavaScript" src="/crystalreportviewers11/js/export.js" and using same hierarchy as above, I find this java file.
Regarding missing images, how do I make viewer see these?  Where do I copy the images or how do I point the viewer to where they are?

Out of the frying pan and into the fire...   I offer the following for other novices like myself and hope that experts will correct any misconceptions.
My Crystal viewer control still does not display icons or print and now behaves badly when trying to display a report.  I would appreciate any advice.  Details follow.
We have a Crystal Reports Server XI r 2.  I obtained the installation disks from tech support to install client tools on my development workstation.  These disks installed version 11.0.3300 .  After some research I have come to believe the following:
    Crystal Reports XI r1 = 11.0 = Managed 3.0
    Crystal Reports XI r2 = 11.5 = Managed 3.5
    Crystal Reports 2008 = 12 = Managed 4.0
So I actually installed release one client tools.  The disks I received were the only installation disks we have, but I believe the server was updated to release 2 via web.  I could not find anywhere on web where I could download the release 2 client tools nor could I find any executable on server installation of release 2 to install the client tools to the development workstation.
However, I also hold a license to the full blown BOE server at XI r2 release  I installed the client tools from these disks to my development workstation.  This installed version 11.5.3300 .  Based on other messages, I believe I need to get to 11.5.3700, but I am lost as to how to get this version.  The differences in versions may be the sole cause of my remaining problems, but I doubt it.
To make sure I had no conflicts on development workstation, I removed all vestiges of Visual Studio and Crystal and then reinstalled VS2008, then Crystal designer, then Crystal Server client tools.  I also installed all service packs for these.  Tech Support tells me Crystal Reports Server has all service packs installed.  I noticed that the release one toolset installation created needed .dll's in both a program files\business objects\common folder and a program files\common\business objects folder, but the release two installation created only the former, not the latter - don't know if that matters.
I had a Crystal viewer app at version 10.5 that worked fine for all reports except those that use the Server business view layer.  I am creating a new web version that can handle all Crystal reports including those using business view layer.  I am following the BOE SDK tutorial for creating a viewer.  I am binding to Crystal Viewer with an infoObject cast as report per one of the tutoral ways of binding. (I wonder if I need to use a different kind of binding though the tutoral indicates this should work.)
When I was using release 1 tools with release 2 server, the report would render just fine but the navigation icons appeared as X's and the print/export buttons resulted in error of "Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support this action".
Per suggestions, I got everything in sync (to version 11.5.3300 which is only release two version I have available) - all references, viewer control, image handler.  I did have to change the image handler type to "CrystalImageHandler.aspx" type="CrystalDecisions.Web.CrystalImageHandlerPage, to get a successful build because type CrystalImageHandler (no "page" suffix) is not defined in Crystal Decisions.Web version 11.5.3300,  I also had to add a reference to CrystalDecisions.Enterprise,PlugInManager for the constant CePictureState.cePictureThumbnail to be defined.  This reference was not necessary with version 1 toolset and not mentioned in tutoral.  Now I have the following symptoms:
    1.  When I bind to a very simple .rpt file stored in filing system of my workstation (displays a constant), the report will render in viewer but the navigation icons are still X's and print/export buttons still get JScript error message.
    2.  When I bind to this same simple report copied into Server folder using an infoObject cast as report (which used to render fine with release one client tools), I get the message: "The Page Server you are trying to connect to is not accessible. Please contact your system administrator."  This same report in Server folder runs fine using my Crystal Designer client.  I am able to display other attributes of the report object so I know I have a good report object.  So, my upgrade to 11.5.3300 has now additionally broken the report render.
I would love to get to version 11.5.3700 and see what is still broken (I suspect there will still be some), but haven't a clue how to get this version of client tools.  Upgrading server to 2008 is not an option.  Downgrading Visual Studio to an earlier release is an option if VS2008 is contributing to the problem.  If I have to downgrade VS, what release is recommended?
Any advice about any of these problems is welcome!

  • Navigation icon in menu bar

On my iPhone 3GS, the navigation icon (you know that little arrow top left) is constantly showing. Even though i have no navigation app running, in for or background). As a result to this, the battery also drains quicker than normaly. I have restarted the iPhone a few times aswell...no positive reaction.

That icon means that an app is using location services, not necessarily a navigation app. You can allow/disallow location services here: Settings>General>Location Services:

  • How do I change the colour of the navigation button icons?

I was wondering if there are any add-ons or mods for Firefox 25 that would allow me to change the colour of the icons on the navigation buttons.
I'm thinking along the lines of the older style where the back and forward buttons would light up green, reload in blue, stop in red, and home with a white/yellow mix, when they are clickable.
I find with Firefox 25, I get light gray when grayed out, and dark gray when active, which I find is a bit difficult to tell at a glance. I prefer the colour-coded buttons, and was hoping there was an add-on that would allow me to change that in Firefox 25.

Sorry, not getting the second image showing up, even though I uploaded both.

  • Removing icons from the navigation bar.

I have two icons on my navigation bar that I can't remove. One is from Amazon and the other is from Ebay. I've tried holding Command and dragging them into the trash. Nothing. I've tried using the "customize" option and dragging them there. Still nothing. Any ideas? My Macbook has Mountain Lion as OS. Thanks in advance for any help,

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The navigation bar on my web browser, Firefox. There's a navigation bar at the top of the screen, just under the URL address bar. There are some plug in icons here, but somehow also these icons from Amazon and Ebay. I'd like to remove them. What do you think?
    thanks,
    bgstreet
PS:  check out on the screen shot, the right upper corner, the icons are there.

  • When I select Toolbar-Customize and the options box opens, the Navigation Bar icons disappear.

Two questions: 1) When I select Toolbar, then Customize, the box with the toolbar options opens, but my Navigation bar icons disappear, so I can't add the spaces, bars, etc. to it. How do I fix that? 2) I can reposition the icons in the Navigation bar without being in Customize, with the exception of the Search Address box. How do I reposition the Search Address box? Thanks.

Opening in the Sidebar is the default action for bookmarks that are created via a "Bookmark this Page" link or button on a website. Make sure you use the many "Bookmark this Page" methods that are in Firefox instead.
Right-click those bookmarks and select '''Properties''', then un-check the preference for '''Load this bookmark in the sidebar''', and then click Save.

  • The password key icon is missing at the corner of the navigation bar...how do i get it back??

they key icon is no longer where it should be in order to save and remember passwords. cant find it anywhere

There is no Password key icon in Firefox Navigation Toolbar items. You must be using some add-on in which case the icon might be on the Add-on Bar

  • Bookmarks icon disappears from the Navigation Toolbar

There are two different bookmarks icons available for the Navigation Toolbar:
    – a drop-down list version (distinguishable by its down-arrow)
    – a panel version that opens the Bookmarks panel on the left side of the screen
The panel version works just fine for me if I drag it onto my Navigation Toolbar from the Customize Toolbar menu, but I prefer the drop-down list version. When I put the drop-down list version onto my Navigation Toolbar, it seems to work at first. However, when I click "Done" on the Customize Toolbar menu, the Bookmarks icon (drop-down list version) disappears!
Removing and adding it does not solve the problem.
Choosing "Restore Default Set" does not solve the problem, even though the drop-down list version is part of the default set.
    Side notes:
    1) The Reload and Stop icons also disappear, but I expect that, since they effectively merge into the location bar.
    2) Other odd behavior: If I put the panel version icon immediately to the left or right of the Reload, then the Reload icon remains in the Navigation Toolbar (to the right of the location bar). The Stop icon does not exhibit this behavior; it always disappears. After playing around for a bit, I ended up in a situation where the Reload icon would never disappear, no matter which icon was next to it. I was only able to stop this behavior by choosing "Restore Default Set".

This might be a problem with the way Ubuntu modifies Firefox.
Does disabling Ubuntu Firefox Modifications has any effect?

Note that you will only see the Bookmarks Menu button with the drop-down list when the menu bar is hidden and Ubuntu displays window menus in the control bar at the top of the screen with the switch to the Unity window manager.

  • How do I customize the "Navigation Tool Bar" by adding the print ICON so that the ICON will remain when I close the browser?

I have tried SEVERAL times to customize the "Navigation Tool Bar" by adding the print ICON. Every time I do this it works until I close the browser then I have to re-add the ICON the next time I open the browser. How do I make the ICON stay from session to session?

    See [[toolbar keeps resetting]].

  • After upgrading to FF 20.0 (Ubuntu Linux), some of the icons to the right of the Search Box on the Navigation toolbar disappeared - Springpad, Evernote, etc.

After upgrading to FF 20.0 some of the icons (not Favicons) to the right of the Search Box on the Navigation toolbar keep disappearing. The icons are Springpad Clipper extension, Evernote, Ghostery, Greasemonkey, Pocket. Each time I start FF some (or all) of them are missing. I tried a "Reset Firefox". The first time after the reset, after syncing, all the icons appeared. The second time (now) the Springpad icon has disappeared.
