WAD 7.0 Template Transport Issue

Hi All,
I have a problem when I attempt to transport my newly modified BEx WAD template up to our QA environment. I am the first person in our environment to try transporting a customized 7.0 template.
I copied the 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN Web Application Designer 7.0 default template to YMMPUR_ANALYSIS and changed it by adding a CONDITIONS_LIST, and INFO_FIELD item and changing some checkbox settings and it runs fine in our development system by specifying the TEMPLATE=YMMPUR_ANALYSIS in the URL for various queries. At this point all seems well to use this additional template as an alternate one for some of our queries.
The problem comes when I go into the RSA1> Transport Connection, using object type of BEx Web Template (BTMP), choosing my new template YMMPUR_ANALYSIS to pull over to the right, and gather all the necessary objects. I get a red status code in the window below with the message, "Message not found (in main memory)" and I get a list of other templates with their checkboxes checked as if I need to transport them up to our QA level as well as my newly modified one that uses those other templates. However I know those other templates are already in our QA environment. I get the same exact error situation after I copy the standard web template to another name and pull it over to the right in the transport connection without making any changes at all in it. I still get the message that a message is not found and these other templates are checked indicating to me that the system thinks I need to transport them up. I don't want to transport them up. All I want to do is to transport my template which uses these other templates just like the default one.
The BEx Web Templates mentioned to transport up are: 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN_EXPORT, 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN_FILTER, 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN_FOOTER, 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN_HEADER, 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN_INFO and the BEx Web Item 0PATTERN_BARCHART_SWITCHED. They already exist in our QA level, so why is the transport connection telling me it is necessary to transport them up and why the error message?
What am I doing wrong?

I have seen this behavior too - nothing to be worried about. But when I first got this message - i transported other templates too that the system was complaining about. But the second time I was transporting other one - i just ignored the messages and just moved the custom one and worked just fine in Q. So I guess just ignore the messages and send just your template.

Please activate all BEx Web templates (BTMP) that begin with '0'. Please activate all Reusable Web items (BITM) which' begin 'with '0'. After this you should restart the J2EE Engine. This will solve your problems.
Regarding the note - It means that the issue "Object 'BTMP:0ANALYSIS_PATTERN' refers to the invalid object 'QU:" can be ignored now. This error message will not come in SP14 (whenever its released).

How to setup a template to issue SHA1 certs if I have a SHA256 chain

Certificate signature algorithm is CA-wide settings and independent from certificate templates. You have to configure your CA to use SHA1 signature:

Appraisal template transporting problem

Hi Gurus!
Appraisal template transport work only between mandants of development system. It doesn't work for other systems ( QAS, productive)
Category and category Group was transported earlier.
I did number ranges for objects VA,VB,VC. So there are no such objects in QAS system.
Report RHSOBJCH was done.
What else should I do?

I have found SAP Note 1475428 - Transport appraisal Basic settings
2-Following entries must exist in T77S0:
If LSO is installed:
TRSP STOBJ 'PDST_LSO'
TRSP WFOBJ 'PDWS_LSO'
If LSO is not installed:

SLD Transport issue

Hi All,
I have transport issue with SLD objects. I have different SLD's for my Development and Quality.
1) Is CMS a option to transport the SLD objects like Business systems and Technical systems.
2) I have technical System XYZ on Development system with 2 SWCV's installed for it but in the Quality i have for the same system XYZ i have three SWCV's installed, now if i transport the technical system XYZ from Development to Quality i want the additional SWCV installed for XYZ to be removed, but this is not happening, i even tried to transport the concerned SWCV and Product from Developmen to quality still the installed systems doesnt change as Desired.
Please tell me if its possible and how can be achieved.

Two types of transport mechanism are used in PI.
File transport method.
CMS transport method.
One upcoming is CTS+.
Perform the following to import/export ID objects.
1. To export or import directory objects, call the configuration maintenance screen of the Integration Builder.
2. Call the context menu for an object in a collaboration profile in the Integration Builder navigation tree and choose Export.or choose Tools ® Export Configuration Objects
3. Select the Transport Using File System mode and follow the wizards instructions. When selecting individual objects, you can use drag and drop to drag the objects from the navigation tree and drop them in the object selection field.
The Integration Builder saves a binary export file with the suffix tpz in the export directory of the directory server
Do not change the file name of the export file. If you do, the Integration Builder will not accept it as the appropriate file when you import.
4. To import the export file(s) to another Integration Directory, first copy or move it to the import directory of the target directory.
5. Call the configuration maintenance screen of the Integration Builder for the target directory. Choose Tools ® Import Configuration Objects...
6. Select the export file saved in the import directory by using the dialog box that appears.
If the import is successful, the export file is moved to the subdirectory Configuring Groups and Transport Targets

Transportation Issue

Hi Experts,
I have a transportation issue which have been explained below:
While am transporting thr entire dataflow fromDEV to Quality then my transport is getting failed and its saying that return code error 12 (Program terminated (job: RDDEXECL, no.: 15512700)
) which is critical and when am checking in the Quality its has a Dump message which is given in detail below:
Name of Runtime error: TYPELOAD_LOST....
Can anyone please let me know the cause of this error and also please let me know how to overcome the same....

Ur msg desnt have any error logs - so it is difficult to nail the issue. But I believe you are trying to export all the objects in a one huge transport request, where some of dependencies can be missing. So spilt up the objects into different tranport and try export them in a sequence.
Just repeating the transport again and again doesnt take away the error. try to fix it.

Display 2 reports in 2 tabs of one WAD web template --variable issue

We need to create one web template which contains 2 queries in 2 tabs in WAD. Each query has its own selection option. But after we create it in this way, the two queries selection option combined together in the initial screen.
This is not convenient because we would like to set different authorizations to these 2 query reports, some people only can access to one of these 2 reports. But in this case, they have to enter all the selection option for displaying only one report.
Is it possible to separate the selection screen for these 2 reports to 2 selection screens? Maybe it will be required to enter selection data when press individual tab.

Its possible that each tab can have different selection Screen.
In the Tab parameters :
First Tab: In command prompt,Specify "Call Variable Screen Dialog" .
Similarly do it for Second tab.
Now when open query..for each Tab,you will see a selection screen based on your data provider

Web template transport - Urgent

We are unable to save a web template (after making changes)and getting the following errors.
" THE OBJECT CANNOT BE PROCESSED DUE TO A TRANSPORT PROBLEM"
When we click Ok, then the following message is appearing:
"COULD NOT SAVE TEMPLATE"
There is no any other error messages and we are unable to find the solution. Please help urgently.

welcome to SDN ...
you need to create a bex reqeust, rsa1->transport connection-> icon truck with 'bex', assign with package as the web template when you transport.
(it seems you have ever transported the web template).
all your changes may be gone since you need to close WAD and open/login again. to save the changes you have done,
in WAD go to tab 'html' something ('design') and ctrl + A (to copy all the line) html to notepad or somewhere.
when open again the web template, paste back the codes/html.

OSA-Template Transport Problem

We are trying to transport the Appraisal Template by saving in a Request along with Category Group and Category from Development to Quality. Category Group and Category has been transported but Template is missing.
Please guide us, do we need to do any other settings?

Hi Prashanth,
If i understand you correctly, both your Dev client and Q client are in separate servers and you have to transport your appraisal templates from Dev system to Q system.
I had same issue when i did my first OSA based appraisal implementation. This is because, the appraisal template is hierarchially below the category and category group. And the category group doesnt have an Object type(thats what i remember).
Solution - I manually created the category group (i think i created the category also - try this) and then transported the templates. This worked well form me.
I am sure that customer may not encourage this. But then doing this is Q system will not prompt for any transport recording even if the client settings say "Record automatically for changes".
I have tried this in PRD system also.

Integrate WAD 7.0 Template into BPS Web Interface

Dear all,
We recently migrated to BW 7.01. We have an existing planning application running as a BPS Web Interface.
I now want to integrate a query output (data and chart) by using a web template designed with WAD 7.0 into the existing BPS web interface. I know how to do this with a web template designed with WAD 3.5. There is also a How-to paper available that explains it for 3.5. I'm struggling now to do the same with WAD 7.0. The syntax for the URL generation changed, that's one problem. There maybe more when actually calling the web template from the web interface(?).
I found some threads here in the forum dealing with this issue but no clear solution. Some posts even mentioned that integration of 7.0 web templates into BPS web interfaces is not possible at all. I would appreciate any information on this issue.

Hello Ulrich,
the 7.0 web templates run on your BI Java server which has a different host name (and port) than you BW ABAP server which run the BPS web interface. The servers are different in Dev/QA/Prod so you need to generate the URL dynamically.
One way is to hardcode it in JavaScript. Something like: if CurrentDomain = ABAPDevDomain. Domain = JavaDevDomain. if CurrentDomain = ABAPQADomain. Domain = JavaQADomain. etc
A fancy alternative would be to put the Java domain and port into an exit variable which you could include in the BPS web interface (in a hidden DIV tag for example). Fill the exit variable using function RSWR_GET_DEPLOY_PORTAL_INFO. Then your JavaScript can pick up this value to generate the proper URL for the web template.

Transport issue when copying a web dynpro component

Hello All.
I have a web dynpro component lets say ZTest and now I want to copy this, I gave the new one a different name i.e. ZFINAL, now when I copied, it asked me for the trasnport and when I asked to create a new transport I got this message "Class ZIWCI_ZFINAL does not exist" and then I clicked the green arrow again and it created a transport for me. After this process I activated my web dynpro component successfully, my web dynpro component has 3 views and 3 windows. When I looked at my new transport (for ZFinal), I only saw three tasks attached to teh transport i.e. 1. Interface 2. Info Object from the MIME Repository and 3. Web Dynpro Component but I didn't see Controller (Web Dynpro), Definition (Web Dynpro) and View (Web Dynpro) attached to my transport. Now I wonder when I release my transport to Q I may have issues.
Note: My old trasnport (which has Ztest)has all the missing objects: (Web Dynpro), Definition (Web Dynpro) and View (Web Dynpro)

I resolved it myself.. I had to write the transport entry manually for the views and windows and even the component controller definition.

Live text template render issue when using Media Encoder?

I'm running into flash frames with Media Encoder exports of Premiere sequences using the live text templates.
Unfortunately, AME doesn't flag it as an error, so the render completes without any issues in the render log and the only way to find it is to watch the rendered file.
I have tried different combinations of having After Effects open or closed, with the live text template comp open or closed; I can't consistently reproduce the problem with any certainty and so am having trouble pinpointing the source.
My only hypotheses so far are that:
The glitches seem to be happening in the dynamic link between AME and PP, not AE and PP. The live text will pop back to the duplicated comp's text for one frame. Video playing simultaneously doesn't pop.
In other words, the AE text template said: "name here". In PP it was edited to say "John Doe", then that comp was duplicated and edited to say "Bob Smith". Everything looks fine in PP. There are no keys on the source text in AE (I have noticed that if there are keys on the source text in AE, the text will pop back to the original AE text at that key in PP).
When rendered out of AME, halfway through Bob Smith's title, it will read "John Doe" for a single frame, then pop back to being Bob.
I've only had this happen so far with AME renders. The renders out of PP haven't given me any issues so far.
It might happen more frequently on longer segments? If a title is up for 45 sec instead of 10 sec, it may be more likely to pop.
The issue seems to occur more often in batch renders out of AME (happened to 3 of 5 files rendered in a batch, AME 2014.1) and/or with unrelated AE comps open (on a single render from AME 2014.2)
Again, it doesn't happen every time or to the same title, or in the same spot. Files are being rendered to ProRes 422 HQ. Unchecked "Use Previews" in AME.
Would be nice to get to the bottom of what's happening so I can recommend something to the editors when I hand off these live text templates to them.

SAP BI 7.0 Transport issue with HR Structural Authorization DSO

Hi,
I am trying to transport HR Structural Authorization DSO Objects in BI 7.0 from Dev to QA system. The Data sources are 0PA_DS02 and 0PA_DS03. ( I am sure that there are lots of changes in Authrorization concept in BI 7.0),.
1. Please suggest me if I need to make any changes and tests before moving these authorization objects to QA system.
2. Also, do I need to take any pre-cautions while activating business content objects 0TCTAUTH and 0TCTAUTH_T (Datasources look like are from 3.x) as I am getting issue with the activation of the transfer structure for these objects?

Hi Paramesh.
You can use the DSOs 0PA_DS02 and 0PA_DS03 in BI7.0 as well. You just need to use the new generation of analysis authorizations in transaction RSECADMIN.
You can use 0TCTAUTH and 0TCTAUTH_T in BI7.0, however we have experienced som problems with the 0TCTAUTH_T extractor, which dumped because of a poorly designed SELECT statement that was unable to cope with 10000 records. We have replaced it with a generic data source that uses table RSECTEXT directly.

BI - Portal Template Installer Issue

Transport issue- Process chain

Hi Folks,
I am facing a issue when transporting process chain,
Am transporting a set of process chain using transport connection a) when I choose all the objects and create a request and save it, I get a message saying ' specify request', however the request is generated.
b) When I transport the request I get an error as " Source system does not exist".
I checked conversion of logical systems and RSLOGSYSMAP system, I dont find any issue.

My settings are fine,
I tried removing the info package and do, no much of a change, however afte specify request is continously checked I get the errors as " Errors occurred when saving dependent object R3TR/PROG/ZMAJ_SUIVI of RSPV ABAP MAJ_SU",
I guess its related to process variant, but as per my understanding the process chains can be transported with Variants,
Any help ??
