WAD ERROR RSBOLAP

Hi All,
When I am trying to filter on a characteristic in a  web template
I am getting the following error
Message Class: RSBOLAP
Message No.   014
" Transformer exception while transforming BEx Web templates".

  • BWP WAD Error

    Hi experts
         I make some WADs in BWD and all these WADs are running correctly. When i transfered these WADs to BWP system; some of  these WADs cannot display the Query correctly! But display some Error Message ;This the Error Messages:
          ABEND RSBOLAP(000): Error Between the Class SAPMSSY1 AND Methods: UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION，
        MSGV1: SAPMSSY1
           MSGV3:UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION ;
           ABEND: System error between Program CL_RSD_MULTIPROV and table FACTORY-02-
      Anyone can explain the Error Message?
    How can i correct the Error?

  • WAD error :: Uncaught exception

    Hi All,
    I am facing one problem with WAD report. When I drag and drop one characteristic with hierarchy into the report it is showing the following error::
    Termination message sent
    ABEND RSBOLAP (000): Program error in class SAPMSSY1 method : UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
      MSGV1: SAPMSSY1
      MSGV3: UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
    But this is not happening for other infoobjects with hierarchy. Hierarchy upon 0DEBITOR is causing problem, this is a reference attribute of 0CUSTOMER. But the same is working in Bex Analyzer.
    Please help me to solve the issue.

    Before you send this information, update your BI frontend patch level to the latest available.

    Hello Experts
    User keeps getting "Run-time error 91" Object variable or with block variable not set, & Run-time error 1004 when running query from WAD
    when ever user logs onto saved work books in favorites from BW side.
    Please does anyone know why this is happening?

    Welcome to our community!
    Try deleting the WAD cache - Tools >> Settings >>Delete cache button. Then close WAD and reopen it.

  • WAD: Error Valid InfoObjects

    Hi Gurus,
    I have IP Layout with 9 Tabs(9 query) on it. My Variable Screen has 9 Product Hier (Optional).user can enter on one Product hier and get it to the Layout. if the user stays it the same Tab then No issues.
    But if the user moves to different Tab then I am getting the following:
    Error message: Please select a Valid InfoObjects
    Is there any setting that needs to changed in the WAD in Order to hide this message.
    Let me know if any one has this issue before

    Thanks for the Replay, I have checked the Commands attached to the Tabs
    (Activation Action = SET_DATA_PROVIDER_PARAMETERS.)
    (Deactivation Action = DEFAULT)
    I have Executed the Query in BEx they are working fine. I think the issues is when we open WAD Template.
    user enters the correct PH Level and enters to first Tab (Default) make adjustments. But if he goes to second or third Tab then this message is coming on top of the Web Template
    (Error message: Please select a Valid InfoObjects ).
    I am thinking when we move from one Tab to another it is not getting the Filter Values. is there any Command sequence that needs to be followed?.

    I am presently working on WAD in my sandbox system.
    Problem: Our's WAD is not configure when i try to save a template I get following error.
    Portal unavailable or config problem. please contact system admin.
    Can any one give me hint how to fix this problem.

    Please run the support desktool on your system as per note: 937697 - ths is a tool designed by SAP specifically to troubleshoot all integration/communication issues between your bi (wad) and your portal... it will highlight issues and suggest remedies for each issue that it encounters. A totally green output from this tool would suggest a successful bi/portal config.
    Please also take a look at notes: 888687

    this notes will help you to apply the remedies suggested by the support desktool.

  • WAD Error Message

    Hi,
    We are running 04s NetWeaver on Unix box. Wehn our development team tries to log in to WAD it only accepts uppercase password. If the user enters his/her password in lower case, it will give an error message "BW Server seems to be a 2.x or 3.x or 4.x system (Check Globaldata.ServerVersion)".
    Has anyone come accross this error message and how it was corrected.

    Hi,
    I think you are using old GUI with 2004s server. You should use 3.x WAD came with new GUI install.
    Gui should be on 640, you should install the new bex add-in.
    You can download the gui from
    service.sap.com -> under SAP support portal chose software download -> enter oss id -> sap support packages (via menu) -> entry by application group in left pane -> sap frontend components in main window -> > SAP GUI for windows -> sapgui for windows 640
    You have to execute twice, once to sweep the old setup and second to reinstall.
    During the installation, you have following installation components: SAPGUI, R/3 add-on, General add-on, development tools, legacy components, BW add-on, BI add-in, CRM add-on, KW add-on, SCM add-on, SEM add-on.
    Apart from other components, you definately need the BI add-in, this contains 2004S.

  • WAD Error on save - PRTRFC_BASE

    Hi,
    When saving a template in the WAD, I get an error:
    <i>Java system error: An unknown error has occured during portal communication.
    Java system error: Bean PRTRFC_BASE not found.</i>
    I am using Release 2004s, Patch 701, Revision 172.
    Any ideas?

    This issue is mostly caused by incorrectly configured portal or not running JCo RFC Provider for the backend system.
    For portal configuration please refer to notes:
    917950: SAP NetWeaver 2004s: Setting Up BEx? Web (Overview)
    888687: BEx Web Java: Analysis of communication/logon problems (Details)
    If the portal restart did help, probably the JCo RFC Provider was stopped or corrupted.

  • WAD error: done , but with errors on page!

    when i try to display query on web, it is displaying a partial report with almost no data on the page and right at the bottom  i could see the message
    "Done, but with errors on page"
    what can be done to remove this error?

    hi Ravi,
    try to click the error message, see if it will pop up more detail message.
    as mentioned, seems you use some javascript in your web template,
    see the detail message and check your javascript code,
    it can be object not define etc, please note that it's case sensitive,
    so e.g if you use object/variable or call function, check it's exactly same.

    Let me know you have java stack or not?
    BEx Web in SAP NetWeaver 2004s (Usage Type BI-Java) requires Usage Types EP and AS-Java
    i.e. a Portal on a Java stack is required. This Java stack could be installed on the same server or on another server (see Types of Installation for details).

  • RSBOLAP 018  Java system error in BEx Web Application Designer

    Hello,
    while doing inside BEX Web Application Designer "validation of webtemplate" with
    command "validate on server"  I get following error message of WAD  :
    " Message RSBOLAP 018   description : Java system error : an Unknow Error occured during portal communication"
    My procedure till now was ( please see results as screenshots in attachment) :
    a) ckecking prerequisites for "Java template installer'" --> result "prerequisites.jng"
    b) running "Java template installer" ->  " result templateInstaller.jpg"
    c) running Bex Web Application Designer as mentioned above results in error
       message as mentioned above
    d) running Diagnostic & Support Desktop Tool  --> "result Diagnostic support desktop tool.jpg"
    It says that something is wrong with "BI Mastersystem" because of failed connect to
    message server.
    Please advice me what I should do.

    It is obvious that the connection between the ABAP and the Java is not working.
    There should be a JCo RFC from the portal side to the ABAP stack set up and an RFC from the ABAP stack to the portal.
    Check the entries of the table RSPOR_T_PORTAL
    The RFC specified here should be the one mentioned above (ABAP - Java)
    Check the name of the system should be SAP_BW
    Is the parameter icm/host_name_full set on the ABAP stack with the domain name ?
    Connect to the BI portal:
    http://FQDN:5NN00/irj/portal
    Navigate to system administration -> system configuration -> system landscape -> expand "portal content" -> systemlandscape -> SAP_BW
    Right click on SAP_BW - Open - Object
    Here you need to maintain these:
    ITS Description - BW ABAP Logical System Name - Tx SCC4 or BD54
    ITS Host Name  - FQDN_OF_BW_ABAP:port - You can use the value of icm/host_name_full parameter and retrieve port number from Tx SMICM - Services
    ITS Path - /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
    ITS Protocol  - Select http
    Logical System Name  - BW ABAP Logical System Name - Tx SCC4 or BD54
    Logon Method  -SAPLOGONTICKET
    Message server - BW ABAP FQDN
    SAP Client - BW ABAP Client Number
    SAP System ID (SID) - BW ABAP SID
    Server Port - 39NN
    Web AS Description - BW ABAP Logical System Name - Tx SCC4 or BD54
    Web AS Host Name - FQDN_OF_BW_ABAP:port - icm/host_name_full and retrieve port number from Tx SMICM - Services

    If everything is set properly then do a test connection.

  • Getting error with Web Templates in BI 7.0

    We have upgraded BW3.5 to BW7.0. When we are executing any Web Template in browser we are getting this error-

    For your information we have installed EP Usage and BI on the portal but Portal is not configured to the BI. Is it necessary to configure Portal to the BI?

    Single Sign On is optional.
    What would happen is that the user that's using the Web Application Designer will have to have access to Portals, and the portal Sign On screen will appear once that user executes a Web Template.
    It also depends on the Portal Strategy and the Security Strategy of your client. For example, the portal may only grant access to those used IDs in the Active Directory, so if your BEx WAD user is not defined in Active Directory that user will not have access to portals, and will not be able to execute the Web Template.
