WAD refresh and change button caption

I have a WAD template where I have added a input button to toggle SUPPRESS_REPETITION_TEXTS.
This worked fine, so I then added a script to toggle the button's caption, this sort of works, in that the caption gets changed when the button is pushed, but then gets reset to it's default value when the screen gets refreshed by the SUPPRESS_REPETITION_TEXTS.
Does any body know how to toggle the buttons caption and keep the change over a screen refresh?

To move the Stop and Reload buttons to their position to the left of the location bar you can use these steps:
* Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.

  • Missing refresh and apply buttons?

My iTunes iMac screen has been growing taller! I can no longer access the refresh and apply buttons on the bottom. In fact, the entire bottom of the window is down, off the screen, even if the top of the window is as high as it can go.
What I have tried and does not work:
    - Green resize button just turns the screen into a slider, not a smaller screen.
    - The two arrows on the upper right only makes the window bigger, not smaller.
    - Changing the resolution in Settings > Display only makes the screen bigger. I've tried several scale settings.
    Can anyone help?
(Yes, I'm using Mtn Lion and latest iTunes updates.)
    Thanks!

Thank you! That did the trick. iTunes filled the whole screen, but I got the button back. Then I could use the size arrows in the upper right hand corner to get iTunes back to a reasonable size, buttons and all!

  • How do I get all the control buttons in one place in 3.6.16, like they used to be in previous versions? Having the refresh and stop buttons between address and search windows, and the home button to the far right is awful.

In 3.6.16, the buttons are all over the place. In previous versions, the forward, back, refresh, stop and home buttons were all together. In this version, the refresh and stop buttons are between the address and search windows, and the home button to the far right.
I would love to have them all together as they used to be - much more user friendly that way. I have tried installing alternate themes, but the coding of this version over-rides the themes.

    * Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.

  • The forward, back, refresh, and stop buttons are not working. Even after installing the latest version. Anyone else having this issue?

The forward, back, refresh, and stop buttons are not working. Even after installing the latest Firefox update. Also my home page stopped loading upon startup even tho I have it setup to do so. Anyone else experiencing these issues? This is my second request for help and of course, Firefox on-line support is always closed.

Those are all symptoms of a problem with the places.sqlite file, for details see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite

    Of course! Here ya go
For the record, I did create a new project with only two slides to try and duplicate the issue. I had the same problem. I unchecked the Mouse Click Sound check box, republished and the slide auto advanced. I'm wondering if a default sound file was somehow moved or deleted? I discussed uninstalling and reinstalling C7 onto my laptop, but that's a frustrating solution haha

  • When I upgraded to FF4, the "refresh" and "MSN" button disappeared. Where are they, how do I get them back?

The "refresh" button and the button for my homepage appeared on the line just under the Menu Bar. Also, the MSN icon appeared on the fourth line under the Menu Bar. All three are now missing How do I get them back, or do I have to uninstall FF4. Why does an upgrade have to change toolbars without giving me notice?

You can find the Home button at the far right end of the Navigation Toolbar.
Firefox 4 uses a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is positioned at the right end of the location bar.<br />
During the page load process it shows as a Stop button and after the loading has finished the button is changed to a Reload button.<br />
If you type in the location bar then that button becomes a Go button.<br />
You can middle-click that Reload button to duplicate the current tab to a new tab.
To move the Stop and Reload buttons to their position to the left of the location bar you can use these steps:
    * Open the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window to move the Stop and Reload button out of the location bar.
    * Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar.
    * Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.

  • Where are the home, refresh and X buttons in the header

When I open my home page on the desktop, there are buttons that let me select home, refresh or X a download. I cannot find these buttons on the header or in the add-ons, etc.

The '''''Home''''' button was relocated to the right of the Location/URL bar in a prior version. You can drag it to the position you want or get it from the Customize Toolbar window by looking at the following instructions.
    *Click this link --> https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-customize-toolbars
In Firefox 4 and newer versions, the '''''Go, Stop and Reload''''' buttons are combined in one button at the right end of the URL or Address bar. The button changes depending on the activity:
*green Go arrow when typing in the address bar
*red Stop ("X") button while page is loading
*gray Reload (circular arrow) when page is finished loading.
    Separate buttons are possible:
#Open Customize Toolbar window by clicking Firefox button > Option > Toolbar Layout '''''OR''''' clicking View > Toolbars > Customize if using the Menu Bar '''''OR''''' right-click in an empty space on a toolbar and choose Customize
#<u>While the Customize window is open</u>, Stop and Reload buttons will show separated between the address bar and the search bar
#<u>While the Customize window is open</u>, drag the buttons anywhere on the Navigation toolbar
#*order Reload-Stop will combine into one button
#*order Stop-Reload will remain separate buttons
#*or drag a "Separator" from the Customize window between Reload-Stop and they will remain separate
#click Done at bottom right of Customize window to finish

  • The File/edit/view/history/tools/help bar and the Back/refresh/and home buttons that used to be on the top left of the screen are no longer there. I want them back

I don't know what I did, maybe download a more recent version of firefox, but I no longer have any of the file/edit/view/history/bookmarks/tools/help bar on upper left hand of the screen.
I also lost the BACK button the refresh or undo button and the home button.
where did they go and how do I get them back?
    Thanks
    Jim F

Aha! I found the "refresh" button at the end of the place where I enter the URL. don't know where "home" is yet, but my home page has mysteriously appeared in the tool bar above the URL.

  • With the last download I lost my refresh and stop button. That whole little row. How do I get it back?

All i have now is the row with..
    1 file edit etc..
2 web address and then search block
    3 missing
4 most visited getting started etc..
    5 tabs
I really miss being able to refresh a page or stop the page from loading! What can I do?

Firefox 4.0 has a combined Reload, Stop, & Go button that appears at the right end of the location bar. Only one function is ever active at any one time, so combining them save UI space was a good idea. When a page is loading, it is a "Stop" button, when it finished loading, it turns into a "Reload" button, and when you start to type something into the Location bar it turns into a "Go" button.
To restore the Firefox 3 appearance you can use these steps:
    * Open the "View > Toolbars > '''Customize'''" window or right-click a vacant area on a Toolbar, ''except fot the Bookmarks Toolbar''.
    * Then drag'n'drop the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position at the left side of the Location bar.
    # Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
    # Set the order to "Stop - Reload" to separate them and get two distinct buttons.

  • Changing button caption on runtime in WAD

    Hi,
I have a button in WAD; with the caption "Show  Detail Report".
On clicking, it shows the detail report, at the bottom of the same screen.
I want the caption of the button to be changed as "Hide detail report" on clicking.
On clicking again, the detail report at the bottom should be hidden and the caption of the button  should be changed as "Show  Detail Report".
    Its like Show/Hide button.
I thought of using java script. But how to get the current caption of the button in the Script?
Is there any way to achieve it, without using code?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Suresh.

    Hi Suresh,
You can acheive it by using same concept which we used for hide the detail report.
    Detail: -
Create two button hide detail report & Show detail report.
behind Show detail report use below two functions
    1) Display "Hide Detail Report"
    2) Hide "Show Detail Report".
    vice versa.
I hope you know how to hide objects in WAD.
    Regards,
    Ashish

  • Resize and change button-text in example-OI

    Hello,
i´m currently looking at the example Labview operator-interface which is delivered with TestStand and installed at:
    C:\Programme\National Instruments\TestStand 3.5\OperatorInterfaces\NI\Simple\LabVIEW\TestExec.llb
It works without problems, but how can i resize and modify the text on the buttons?
I attached a copy pf the buttons. Two of them are resizable, the rest not. Why?
And how cani change the text displayed on the buttons?
    Thanks for your help

    Hello,
You're buttons are ActiveX controls. I don't know why they are not resizable, it appears that somehow the activeX container resize properties are disabled. i've seen this sometimes with items on the block diagram, but they become resizable again after restarting LabVIEW.
You could make a copy of the resizable "buttons" and replace the not resizable "buttons" with the copies to go around the problem.
    Kind regards,
    André

  • My phone keeps crashing during calls. i reset holding down the refresh and power buttons simultaneously but now even that is not working.

hello all. i need help and hoping come advice can be offered: this is the second day in a row that my iphone 4 has crashed while i was on a call. without warning the display goes black and neither the refresh button nor the power button will bring it back to life. i held both buttons down simultaneously and that rectified the problem for one day, but now the phone is not responding to any measure. fully charged battery. any advice???

basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore (first from backup, then as NEW).  Have these been tried?

  • How do I make the refresh, and back buttons work? Since I upgraded to FF 5 they no longer work. Also the roboform bar has to be opened everytime. It's not automatich anymore. Thanks!

My refresh button doesn't work. Back Button doesn't work. They only work on the very first FF page that is opened. Any that I open from then on, those buttons don't work. The roboform bar isn't opened either. I have to open it every time.

I would also like to add that none of the emails I send are going anywhere. So there's that.

  • Back button forward button, refresh and cancel button all do not work they are always grey out and the drop down history by forward arrow doesn't work either

when I go to another website the back button to the home button never works. the home button works. I can't do any or the above mentioned features

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

  • Lost event and changed button functionality

Iphoto crashed while I was writing comments about photos in an event. This was the second last event imported. On relaunching the event has been duplicated but both events are empty.
The next strange thing happened when I reloaded the photos again. I now find that the buttons of the top, next to the line "1 photo selected" do not move from photo to photo as they used to but takes me to an adjacent event.
    Iphoto 9.4.1, OS x 10.7.5
    Any thoughts?

my mouse has 3 buttons and 2 axis mouse wheel, but i use the evdev driver anyway, because it has lower latency. I may probably switch to evdev for the keyboard too. evdev is a driver for usb devices.

Using evdev the wheel seems to work better.
