WAD Template_parameters Error

Hi SDN Gurus,
I have design an web template based on Hierarchy .. and try to execute the web template in the browser ..
I am getting the error
" The metadata of ITE template_parameters" are incorrect for the parameter " Start_stateless_internal""
same is excuting fine in Prodution server.
Recentely we upgraded the protal with the SP18 where as BI is still in SP12 ...

Hi,
Im not sure about the error you are getting, but your ABAP stack and JAVA stack should be on the same patch levels otherwise you will face issues. I would look into patching your java stack.

you seem to have opened this post sometime last night (Assuming you work according to IST).. you need to give us more infomation like :
1. What is your patch level ?
2. WHat version of BW are you using ?
3. Does WAD open for other queries and onlythis query is casing the problem.
4. Did it use to work properly beofre and the problem has occured only recently after some change and if yes what was the change.
5. Did you try reinstalling your WAD
6. What is your front end patch level ?

WAD Runtime Error 91

Hi friends,
I have a problem with WAD while opening a web template. This is not a problem with single web template. This is problem with total application WAD. I have tried for all other web templates to upload, the following are the error messages.
Internal error: No Template Property Standard Item.
Runtime Error 91
Object Variable or with block variable not set.
I believe like the WAD should be re installed in my system. I can open the web template from my coligue's system but it is a problem with my system.

WAD Broadcasting Error

Hi,
We have a couple of WADs which we need to broadcast via email. WAD 7.0 is being used. Broadcast setting are maintained in the portal using the wizard.
When I execute the broadcasting for some of the WADs I get the error message:
"Content for static MIMEs could not be found"
Some WADs are getting sent via email without any error and there is no difference in settings for these two WADs.
For the ones that can be sent via email, an extra line appears in the email:
The user sending the email or the broadcasting administrator can use this link to change the list of recipients: http://<server address>/<WAD broadcasting url>
There is nothing in the xhtml code to give this message and infact the WAD when executed in the portal does not show this extra line.
How can these errors be prevented. Does this have something to do with BAsis settings ?

The Mime content error is because of some missing files in the repository.
The additional line for changing list of users etc is specific to BI 7.0

WAD message error : E-WADfrmTemplateMDIWindow_Closed

Hello,
When I want to do a copy of template 0analysis_pattern, I can't, the WAD is freeze and I arrive to unlock the situation with some click. And after when I close the WAD, I have got the internal error.
When I want to create a new template, I save before I have this error message "Failed : Object reference not set to an instance of an object " and after when I exit WAD , I have got the same internal error E-WADfrmTemplateMDIWindow_Closed....
I don't understand, and I can't use the WAD. Did I forget some parameters, maybe?

WAD print error

Hi,
I have created multiple webtemplates with BEx WAD.
A couple of them have print buttons and are able to print.
When I want to group them inside one webtemplate with tabbed pages,
I am no longer able to print to PDF.
My pdf is empty or I get the image of the company I work for (which I have also put into my webtemplate).

In the standard template I don't get that error. So there the reference is correct.
But there is happening something wrong when I transfer that template to a tabbed one.
I made two webtemplates. One with an analysis item with the print button, and one with the tab pages web item.
So in a blank template I inserted a Tab Pages web item, and in this I inserted a webtemplate Item. That webtemplate item is referenced to my original webtemplate.
If you can still follow.
So I don't really know where I can see the reference inside the webtemplate item.

WAD execution error

Hi guys,
i loaded this query (i modified from the original) into the dataprovider of the WAD (copied from the original template with the original query) and when executing it in the browser i am getting this error
system error in program CL_RSR_WWW_ITEM_FILTER_ABS and form
IS_COMPLEX_FILTER : 1
The diagnosis is
This internal error is a targeted termination since the program has an
incorrect status.

WAD 0QUERY_TEMPLATE error

Hi SAP Gurus,
I have trying to open the 0QUERY_TEMPLATE in WAD but in the template validation is displaying a error as
"ITEM_ID" for library item or "ITEM_CLASS" parameter for standard item is missing or broken.
I am trying to look at the html code and modify but could not figure it out. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for immediate reply. Actually I want to make copy of the standard template and do the modification. But when I opened the 0QUERY_TEMPLATE its showing the error as I said. I was only looking at the html to correct this error. Is there any way to correct this error so that I can make a copy of the template.

Working on WAD Giving error msg :Empty Demarcation

Hi Experts,
I am working on WAD i have 3 variables they are not mandatory if i don't give one of the variables in the WAD report it is giving msg "Empty Demarcation " if i give the values in that variable the report is displaying .. and with out variable also report is coming but displaying as "Empty demarcation" can any body have any idea how to suppress this msg.

We Tried that Option also it is totally disabling the variable .if i don't use that variable it is ok .No problem but if i entered any value in that variable still it is disable ....It is suposed to display that value in the report.... so finally this solution is not working.
I know it is not an error it is system generated msg .but user don't want to display that msg.

WAD 7 Error - Urgent

Hi,
We had error while building Web templates in WAD7.0. First we got error while executing the template in the portal "metadata CHART_ITEM are incorrect for parameter "LEGEND_ONLY".
So when I tried to activate the standard web items in the BI content, as soon as i clicked and dragged the items on to the right pane i got the following error:
Object 'BTMP::0ANALYSIS_PATTERN' refers to the invalid object 'QU::'
So We upgraded our SP to 14 as given in some note. Now we clicked and dragged the satndard template in the BI content and there was not any error like
Object 'BTMP::0ANALYSIS_PATTERN' refers to the invalid object 'QU::'.
Then I activated the standard ones.
I created and saved the template and executed the template in portal. But in portal there wasn't any table or chart. There wasn't any error as well. The portal page contained only buttons like New Analysis, Open, Save As, Information, Send, Print Version etc. and a drop down box at thge center Display as table, chart etc.
Kindly help me out of this problem. There isn't any error shown on the portal and there is also no result that is being showed.

What is your front end SP level ?
also for WAD7.0 you need your JAVA WAS to be set up - usually the JAVA WAS is setup on a separate instance and if you have JAVA WAS 700 installed - you should not have a problem ...
To check the JAVA WAS version - you basis should be able to give you the same iformation through visual admin...

WAD legend error

Hello Experts,
I have a WAD with graph Columns 2.5D with series count 2 and legend in Bottom.
In the query used for this graph, in rows, i have WBS Category with hierarchy display expanded to 1 level and followed by Actual Value which is key figure(this is used in structure). We have to display the WBS Category's i.e. Electrical and Insulation which are coming from hier in the legend. It was displaying Electrical / Actual and Insulation / Actual. Then I removed the description of the key figure Actual in structure and put blank. Now it's displaying Electrical /^ like with extra symbol. The symbol is reverese tp which i have given here. I have to remove "/^". I checked all settings in WAD also.
If anyone know, can you please give suggestions

You mean you dont have the WAD or something else. Did you get any result when u run the WAD?
If you can create one query with chararcteristc followed by structure or key figure and remove the description of key figure and use query in WAD for your test.

Error in Wad

i am getting this error while running the report in WAD

Shalini,
What is the version on which you are working with. This is a program error. It may occur if a query that was already created in 3.x contains one of the variables like 0REQUID..
and further selection option variable for a further char.If more than one value is entered in the selection option variable, the query terminates with the above error message.
Note that you must generate the query again after you have implemented the correction (Transaction RSRT1 > Generate report).
Also check the SP level implemented.
Please refer note number 907533. It may be of some help to you.
