Wait on Notification from Multiple behaves the same with or without History

I'm running this VI on a cRIO-9066, and both "Wait" functions behave the same. After reading the LV Help, I would expect the "With Notifier History" one to return an array of two elements, not one. Is this a bug?

Why? Unlike the help for W4MN, the one for W4MNWH is not explicit in saying that it continues as soon as one of the notifiers gets a notification, but it also doesn't say it will wait for all of them. Your example clearly shows that it continues as soon as at least one has a notification.
I'm too tired at the moment to work through the W4MNWH use cases, so I have no particular expectation for how it should behave.

Terminal not Behaving the Same with Text Clippings as in 10.5

I just upgraded to an Intel Mac from a G4 tower (very nice) and I have a lot of text clippings that I drag and drop into Terminal which now have back slashes embedded in them like this:

where do these come from and how do I get rid of them - I had to add them above so I know they aren't in the text clipping. Also I can copy inside Terminal window to window and it doesn't add them.
Any thoughts? It's fairly annoying.

I have several scripts that I have sitting on my desktop as text clippings that work fine in 10.5 but now that I have 10.6 (new iMac) I get these back slashes after every line. I could just as well I suppose make these things aliases or just files in Linux that I run but I've been using them as text clippings that I just dump into a terminal window and everything in the text clipping is done - now terminal is misinterpreting something. They are the same text clippings - if I use them in 10.5 that terminal has no problems - no back slashes.

How do I prevent multiples of the same page downloading without a force quit?

When I click on a link to download, Firefox 3.6.17 starts trying to download the page quickly over and over without success increasing in speed. I must do a force quite to stop this repetitive action as the many pages build up on my screen. This doesn't happen if I try it with Safari. I have FireFox for the MacBook. My laptop is 3 yrs old.

Sounds that you have selected the Firefox application for a file type that it doesn't support.

Prevent multiple users from editing/approving the same form SPD 2013,SP 2013

Hello all, I have a workflow with a to do task, the task is assigned to a group so any of the users in that group can go in and do a quality check on form data and approve it. How do I prevent multiple users from working on the
same form? do I just require check out? or is there a way to notify the rest of the group that a user has already started the quality check.

The "Require Checkout" option is your best bet. You can also enable the auto checkout on edit option to allow minimal effort on the side of the user. Other users will then get the error message stating the item is checked out, if they try to
edit it.
If you'd like, you could add a workflow to the task list that triggers when something is changed. That workflow can check if the item is checked out and if so, email the other users assigned to the task.

You can sync those different playlists to the iPod, and the song appears on each playlist. However, the song is stored on the iPod once. What is the practical reason for wanting to store the same song file multiple times (and waste storage space) on the iPod?

Wait on Queue from multiple

There is a Wait on Notifier from multiple vi, can I do the same with Queue? Any way to work around that?

I was just looking through the synchronization palletes the other day because I was thinking of a notification to be a part of a communication scheme I was fleshing out. I skimmed through the wait on Multiple, must not have read it correctly, or just didn't remember it correctly. The title of it makes me think of the way I had just written it up. If I say "I'm waiting on 5 people" in normal English, that means I'm waiting for 5 people to each give me their information before I can move on. So when I read of the Wait on Notification Multiple, that is the way I think of it. In reality, the definintion is more like "I'm waiting on ANY of 5 people" so if any of those 5 give me their information, I can move on.

I can't think of what would be the ideal scenario for using that particular VI. I think my most common use cases would be to use either a Queue (for a many to one, multiple data) or a Notifier (in one to one, many to one, one to many, or many to many scenario, single piece of data with those possible combinations in order from most likely to use, to very unlikely to use)

As Ocean20 indicates, you want to make sure that you have automatic syncing turned off. In iTunes Preferences under Devices, make sure you have "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically" checked. Then connect each iPhone, and make sure that "Manually Manage Music and Videos" is checked on the Info page for each of them. Then go into each page for each device, and select what you want to sync to that particular device. (you would do this one device at a time - complete the steps for one of the phones, then connect the next one and do the same thing).
With this kind of setup, you can modify what will sync at any given time for a particular device once you have connected it to iTunes, but before you click on the Sync button at the bottom of the screen. If you want to change some sync options on a particular device, you would just go into the page you wanted to change (Music, Photos, Apps, etc.), make your changes, and then Sync.
If you do not have any changes, you can just hook up the phone and click on Sync.

If you have sent a test print via ePrint, and experience this issue, i would call the Cloud Services department.
If ePrint works fine, it is definitely a Google Cloud Print issue.
Also, when you print from your android device, are you using Google Cloud print or the HP ePrint app?

Want the mouse behave the same way as a tab key

I am using abap webdynpro. one of my requirements to automatically put the user in insert mode on numeric fields. That is when the user clicks in a numeric field we want the field to be highlighted. As soon as the user types something in the field we want the field to be cleared so that the user overwrites the data. Basically we want the mouse behave the same way as a tab key. highlight the field and clear it as soon as you start typing.
is this possible?

As mentioned this is not possible.
however, I would be wary of trying to overcome a standard functionality "deficiency " like this by implementing an island. If you take this path - all your custom applications will behave differently from the SAP standard ones - which is not really an ideal situation.
Instead, add your concern to the sticky at the top of this forum - the functionality to "clear" a field (or select all on field on entry which is what is happening with the tab selection) might be added in future releases.
I think however, that you'll find that the "select all on tab" behaviour is an browser "functionality" rather than anything specifically that SAP has implemented - if you try using a different browser, you may not find the same thing happening (although with the browsers I've checked it does).
The same thing happens with any HTML forms - just try yourself. e.g.[external site with details on HTML forms and input fields|http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_forms.asp]

Should ADF tables created for Toplink or Web Services behave the same?

In JDev 11g TP3, When you drag the collection data control onto a JSF, should the read only tables created from either Toplink objects or Web Service Data Controls look and behave the same? I am not able to get tables created with Web Service Data Controls to work the same as those shown in tutorials or examples.

Not so sure, 11G does seem to generate all of the controls for the response elements, even those that have nested complex types such as the one enclosed. Used the 11G TP3 Web Service Data Control wizard and all of the nested controls showed up. BUT, when dropped onto a JSF, they do not work the same as the tutorials and examples. So, I'm either doing something wrong or the controls are not working properly.
Should I not use the 11G WSDC and just follow your example in complex return types? Or are there other steps or settings in the 11G WSDC that I need to discover (they're not documented) in order to make ADF tables work with the 11G WSDC? If so, can you help?

I have a solution to this issue now after a discussion with Apple Support. Some where in the last few weeks, there was a change in the key that would do a Show Desktop under the Mission Control settings in the System Preferences. Even though the key sequence that was shown for the Show Desktop setting did not include the Left SHift key, by changing this first to having no key sequence and applying that and then changing it back to the F11 key, the Left SHift key issue that I was having has cleared up.
A second issue that was uncovered was that the SSD had some issues (uncovered when I ran Disk Utility using the Repair Disk key). I had to restart and use the Disk Utility through the Command R sequence to get to the stand alone Disk Utility. The SSD appears to be running better as a result as well.
Hope that this is of use to someone else in the future.

I changed the about:config to make the rotate gesture move between tabs, and it worked great for well over a year. Now it behaves erratically as described here:

It used to be very controllable to move one tab over, now it is erratic and moves quickly and to unexpected tabs regardless of how slow I do the rotate gesture. This is the main reason I use Firefox over Chrome and I would like to continue to do so unless there is no fix to this.

Just set the browser.gesture.twist.threshold to something around 15-25.

You cannot - the "Buy Calendar" button is only available, while viewing one calendar. You can order more than one copy of the same calendar on one order, however.
