WAITING FOR APPLY

Question

I have one capture process real time downtreams and one propagation that send LCR captured to target RAC. All Oracle Streams clients are succefully configured but when I start the capture process its state is WAITING FOR REDO.
So, the apply process is started to.
backgroung
one server with 2 instance. instance1 is the source and instance2 is the down and contain the capture process and propagation.
one RAC target whit the apply process.
please, can you say me which is the problem?

Hi there - not much to go on here.
Check which archivelog it is waiting for:

You can use the following script (you can find it somewhere in the docs) to check what logfile it is waiting for.

Check DBA_REGISTERED_ARCHIVED_LOG and see if the logfiles listed in here are
- up to date with the alert log
- present in the correct location on the downstream capture site (this is likely to be the problem).
If not, fix the archivelog shipping problem and it should resume automatically.
