Waiting for installation

Hey all i bought recently bough founds to my PSN account then i decided to buy some skins and stuff to my MKX. i put it to download as normal then it says " waiting for installation " and it is always like that can anyone help me pls?

i bought the game and the playstation in Canada, then i came to portugal and i brought it, i wanted the sub zero skin so i add founds to my playsation and i cant download. :c i also tried to go my Canadian account to install the packs and the skins and don't work :c ty for help, if anyone knows anythin pls let me know

I have tried to execute xclock to check it, but its gives the below error

I found that before setting the below display environmental variable, xclock worked good, but after setting the below display environmental variable, I am facing this error

I searched for this error, some people posted that we have to change the display environmental variable like export DISPLAY=:0, set DISPLAY=:0.0,
I tried it but still facing the same No GUI server connected error.
I hope it will be a problem with display environmental variable and I have no other clues, please help me, Thanks.

Hi,
We are trying in my personal laptop, so I have not set any ip addess. Is there any other way like our loop back adapter settings in windows, to configure ip address in Redhat linux 5 in individual machines.
Also I searched in forums few other people who has already faced the same error. They have set the display environment variable export DISPLAY=ipaddress:0.0 with ip address but they also has faced the same error and itu2019s not resolved.
Please help me if there will be any other reason for this error, Thanks.

Clients status on Software Updates "Waiting for third-party orchestrator to initiate installation"

20 out of 25 clients are all in the "Waiting for third-party orchestrator to initiate installation". What does this mean? They have already passed the deadline. They have downloaded the updates. No installation though except on 5
servers. Below is a piece of the Client log.

It's most likely caused by a client agent setting called "Agent extensions manage the deployment of applications and software updates", see
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg682067.aspx#BKMK_ComputerAgentDeviceSettings. It has to be set to "disabled" if you are not using any third party software that plugs into ConfigMgr.

Patched Deployments issue: "waiting for another installation to complete"

I have some percent of computers which runs into above state in monthly patch deployments. I could minimal information from execmgmr, udpatesdeployment.log,
CliSpy and Client Center etc tools but that doesn’t offer much help to nail down the issue completely. Have any of you dealt to resolve such issue successfully ? Is there any efficient way to handle this ?
It seems I have
DeploymentA, waiting for the completion of DeploymentB, which in turn waiting for the completion of
DeploymentC. Is there any better approach I could take to nail down and resolve the issue. One of my finding is, KB articles installs (SCCM R3, SCCM Asset Intelligence) causes these issue as they restart (upgrade sort of execution) the
agent during the execution, I need to confirm these

This issue can be caused by a deployment was previously deployed and was now deleted. This was because the clients finished installation
and wanted to notify the Server that it is done, but since the deployment was deleted, it couldn’t Notify its progress to the site server and the CCM_DeploymentTaskEx1 got stuck.
Please use the following scripts to delete the instance to test this issue.

That is for your and your Mac's protection; you need your administrator password to download/install things.

Installer is stuck and waiting for something

I am installing weblogic 7.0 server in silent mode, sometimes it seems to be working
okay but sometimes it is hanging and never seem to finish. I would have to kill
the process.
It installs server, domain etc and says "BEAInstallController waiting...", I always
get this message but sometimes it waits for a second and goes to next task but
sometimes it seem to wait for ever.

If the installation hangs, please try capturing a JVM thread dump. Kill -3 should work
on UNIX systems or the Ctrl-Break keys on Windows. You might also try obtaining some
native process information such as "/usr/proc/bin/pstack" and "truss" on Solaris (or
other O/S counterparts). These tools should help determine the cause of the hang.

Installer keeps waiting for other installations to complete my downloads. is this normal?

I downloaded a microsoft remote desktop application and tried to download my office mac and the installer keeps saying waiting for other installations to complete. So i thought i needed a restart and the installer won't shut down either. is this normal?

Immediate problem solved. After force quitting the Software Update app., iPhoto 9.2 appears to have been successfully installed and functional. Unable to say if future S/W updates will encounter any problems. Thanks for all consideration. Item closed.

Mac won't boot installer (still waiting for root device)

Hi,
I've recently tried to install serveral linux distro's on my MacBook.
Somewhere down the road something screwed up booting OSX.
Now i can't boot a OSX install usb stick, because after some time i see a prohibited sign.
If i boot into verbose or singleuser mode my Mac gets stuck at "still waiting for root device".
I first thought the HDD was responsible for the error but i've taken it out and replaced it with a new HDD.
The same error persists, even when i completely remove the HDD (boot from USB without a HDD attached).
I also tried removing the original HDD and connecting it to my iMac via a USB dock, from there I repartitioned the HDD with a GUID partition scheme.
I don't care about losing data on the HDD, I would like to be able to boot the USB installer and reinstall OSX.
Oddly I can still install ubuntu or other OS's on the MacBook, but OSX get's stuck every time i try to boot.
It's MacBook 4,1 early 2008.

I'm assuming there's a backup of all partitions around somewhere, because this situation is deep into the likelihood of data loss already.
Per the Mavericks specs, MacBook4,1 Early 2008 isn't supported for 10.9 Mavericks, so whatever you're booting will need to be an earlier version of OS X.
Have you tried that bootable USB disk on another Mac, just to see if that's working correctly on another system?
Back in that vintage, DVD distros would have been more typical, and I think Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD will boot there (most of those seemed to first ship with 10.5.2, per some specs), if you don't have your original DVD disks.
Failing that, you could try erasing the disk using Linux or (if you can get at it) booting the installation disk and using Disk Utility, and see if that'll let you have access.

Waiting for USB to initialize... during installation

Dear All...
I have a problem trying to turn my PC into real time target,
I'm trying to install RT system from USB Stick but the program stops with communicate "Waiting for USB to initialize..."
I've read the manual and tried to unplug and plug again USB Stick, but it doesn't help.
Moreover I tried to make bootable pen-drive by my self using win98 boot floppy files and manually copied rest of data made by MAX, but it also won't help.
My hardware is:
Intel i7 860
Asus P7P55LX
Intel PRO 10/100 S
ATA HDD 3GB (and also connected SATA RAID02x500GB SATA 200GB)
So it looks like I match the system requirements.
I also installed latest BIOS but it didn't help.
Could you give me some suggestions how to solve it ?

Quicktime plugin does not load on FireFox 4.01 says Waiting for Video

When i go to Apple Trailers and view a trailer the popout box opens but message in window is " Waiting For Video ". Have re-installed quicktime still doesnt work, works ok in IE 8 still.

Creative cloud app has gone and i can't open programme. have client waiting for tiny amend to ai file and can't get any help! please help! this has taken me over an hour trying to get anything to work again...

Oh the infinity symbol has disappeared (It was there at first but then when I tried to log in it froze up and I had to quit) Opening the programme Ai just brought up a bouncing ai icon which quickly turned to adobe updater - which did not respond. so i have read on the boards you need to delete update which i have done but now it just says i need it…. i can't log in… am very worried as i have to urgently sort something by half five and have no help from previous messages and am currently still on hold (have being transferred from you instantly asked sales line) waiting for help… please help!

Nobody can help you without proper system and version information or other technical details. if the update is botched, then run the cleaner tool and reinstall from scratch.

Is it possible to wait for data using ODIWaitForData on a column of table

Hi,
Is it possible to wait for data on a column instead of waiting for data on a table.I knwo there is ODIWaitForData for which I can use the Filter Column and Filter Variable expressions to wait for data.But I do not know what is the value that I amy recevie ,so in a sense I do not know what is the value that I may be expecting.So how else can I wait for the data on a column.Note that I have used even the SQLFilter option in ODIWaitForData..

Thank you for responding to my post Niel. The HD is completely empty like it's not even formatted and no partitions yet. I have the installation DVD that I borrowed from a friend. I tried to insert it into the external CD/DVD drive, restarted the PC while pressing and holding the C button then I see the apple logo after a while it was showing a not allowed sign, the icon that is circle and has slash in the middle of it. I replaced the HD because my old HD crashed after upgrading to OS X Mavericks.

After installing 11.2.2.3 iPod Classc. is wiped/"dead" (not recognized by iTunes, Win7 find the unit in explorer) and my iPod Touch refuse to comm with iPod interface in the car. Just wait for a iTunes update?

I installed 11.2.2.3 2 days ago and have since then not been able to sync my iPod Classic (not recognized by iTunes anymore and alll data has been wiped but show up in Win explorer when in Disk mode with my label on it "Nik's iPod") my old iPod Touch appear to have all data left but doesn't communicate with my car anymore.
Nedless to say none of the other Apple devices in our house will be updated or connected until this is resolved.
Is this related to the iTunes update?
If so should I just wait for a new update to come out that can help me get these things sorted?
I have tried most of the different remedies listed in this forum to no avail and being computer illiterate (not comepletely but anyway) I just want to know if this is a known problem that I can successfully fix with a bit of fiddling or if its time to seek out a genius bar somewhere and get some help.

Thanks for the help but I am unfortunately still not able to get my iPod Classic to connect. I have tried all the tricks in the article that you linked to.
One thing is that when I reset the iPod (menu and center until the logo pops up) I get a critical error in iTunes and it shuts down. Could that indicate that my problem is with the iTunes installation rather than the iPod?
I have tried to re-install iTunes before but maybe I shpuld give it a go again?

HP Laserjet 3055 printer "waiting for printer to be available" after HP Printer Software Update 3.0

I have an HP Laserjet 3055 All-in-One Printer. It has been printing just fine from my iMac running OS 10.9.5 (Mavericks) until after the HP Printer Software Update, Version 3.0, that I installed on 1 Oct 2014. Although the 3055 is shown as connected/idle to my iMac via USB, after clicking "PRINT" for a document, the print queue status soon changes from "printing" to "waiting for printer to become available", and the printer never becomes available. I have tried rebooting everything (printer, computer, text software), checking USB cable connections and changing USB ports, deleting and re-adding the 3055 printer (numerous times!) even after resetting the print system, but could there be something inherently wrong with the latest HP driver (version 19.9 for HP Laserjet 3052)? Or is it possible something else is going on? In other words, I have exhausted all the solutions I've found in these and other forums to no avail.
I have tested this printer by connecting it to my MacBook Pro (also running OX 10.9.5) but without having installed the HP Printer Software Update, Version 3.0. (Hadn't gotten around to this update...) The printer works fine, even though the driver has the same version number--19.9 for HP Laserjet 3052. So could the version 19.9 driver in the latest HP Printer Software Update be corrupted? Is there any way to reinstall that driver? Or copy the 19.9 driver from my MacBook Pro and install it on the iMac? HP only refers to the Apple Software Update process for Mavericks compatible drivers for this printer. Can I manually uninstall the HP driver for the Laserjet 3055 from my iMac and then have the iMac download the driver again in the process of re-setting up the 3055? Any suggestions appreciated.

After creating a bootable back-up, I tried the first suggestion--downloading and re-installing the HP printer driver update kit for which you kindly provided the link--but to no avail. Before downloading the driver update kit, I "reset the printing system", clearing all the installed printers, queues, etc. After re-installing the HP printer drivers, I went to System Preferences>Printers & Scanners to once again add the HP LaserJet 3055 only to discover it was already listed as installed! This I find baffling, to say then least. I tried printing and again got the "waiting for printer to be available" message. I subsequently tried deleting and re-adding the printer, going through the printing system reset again, but still no-go.
I also tried another approach to adding the printer which perhaps will shed some light on the problem. After clicking on the "+" button to add the printer, I select the "HP LaserJet 3055" which shows up as available via USB. Then, instead of using the "HP LaserJet 3052" driver that automatically appears in the "Use" [choose a driver] field, I chose "Auto Select" to see what happens. As the computer processes this request, the status message changes from "Gathering printer information..." to "Waiting for printer to become available..." And, of course, it never becomes available. This strikes me as odd, that the printer set-up system "sees" the printer accurately enough to list it as available to add but can't find it with the "Auto Select" approach to getting the appropriate driver. Of course, when I simply go with the "Use HP LaserJet 3052" driver option that, naturally enough, is the one automatically suggested by the printer set-up system, the printer is "successfully" added. I say "successfully" in quotes because it never becomes "available" to print something.
Before I try your second suggestion--downloading and re-installing the 10.9.5 combo update--I wonder if it's possible that the printing system reset process is "broken". It's as though the reset fails to clear the printer queue, making it appear that there is a pending printing job that the system is waiting to be finished. Also, as noted above, I reset the printing system prior to re-installing the HP printer driver update kit and then, after installation, the HP LaserJet 3055 magically had already been added. This makes me wonder if the printer wasn't properly "cleared" from whatever makes up the printer System Preference process during the reset.
Any other thoughts?
