Waiting for sprint note 4 pre order

Pre ordered device on Oct 15,was told it would be there release day the 17th. Come to find out it still hasn't shipped. I called 1877 bby mobile number and they called the store and was told they will not be receiving any this week. So now another week waiting for a phone... No one at the store is any help besides telling me to cancel my order. Horrible, terrible experience. I get no answer from corporate. This is unacceptable.

I apologize for any misinformation that you may have received, as placing a pre-order only guarantees you a phone in the order in which the orders were received, not necessarily on the day it was released. Ha! So happy I did not pre-order

So I actually waited until today to go to my local VZW store to pick up the Iphone. Got there at 515am and was 6th in line and freezing outside. I was not there more than 5 mins before someone came outside and passed out line cards that essentially held our place in line. We were told that we could then go back to the warmth of our cars and they would open up the doors at 645am. While sitting in our cars they even came by and served us complimentary Starbucks coffee. When doors opened at 645am I was out before 7am Iphone in hand. So glad I did not pre-order and go through the stress of confirmation emails, tracking numbers, wheres my phone, whens my phone going to be here. Well worth the extra 3day wait and now I am in the same boat as the pre order people.

Wish I had not pre-ordered

After going through a lot of anxiety trying to figure out when my new verizon phone's would arrive it seems there was no problem finding them in stores.
It is 12 pm here and I am waiting for UPS to deliver my phone. This morning I was near the local Verizon store, at 7:45. The store opens at 8, and the line consisted of less than ten people. Going on line and looking at the best buy site, I see most of the phones are available in stores today and most of the stores are less than a 30 minute drive from me.
I could have saved taking a day off to sign for the phone, and having to sit here, possibly until 7, all day.
Oh well-I guess hind site is 20-20 to use an old cliche'

I agree with you, I wish I had not pre-ordered. I was promised delivery of my iPhone 4s for Friday, October 14th. I still have not recieved it and have not received any email notice of shipping. I am a loyal Verizon customer of several years and thought by pre-ordering, my customer loyality would be rewarded. WRONG!! Any new non - Verizon customer could walk into a Verizon store on Friday and buy one and the multi-year loyal customers are still waiting on delivery. If they could'nt deliver on the scheduled date, don't bother with the pre-ordering promise **bleep**! I think after this, my entire family and myself are changing carriers.

There is nothing to refund, you weren't charged when you pre-ordered it, you would only have been charged when it was released

If i do not have enough money for when my pre-order comes in, what happens?

I pre-ordered an album set for june 26th. I currently have enough money for it but i have decided i no longer want it in full, and i have a few songs i want to buy. So if i don't have the money when it is released. Dies it simply cancel?

Your best bet is to cancel the pre order before it becomes available to avoid being billed for an item you no longer want. Follow the link for instructions on canceling your pre order.

Why can we not pre-order the Iphone 4 due to tech problems? The US seams ok

I have been trying to pre-Oreder the new Iphone and I have had no joy. For over an hour now the uk web page has had problems.
I do not think is fair how other webpages on other countries like the US have no problem on making orders but the uk for some reason can not make any orders yet! Convenience?
I can not even make it over the phone, why?
I feel like the US is getting priority on this like the Ipad, although we are meant to be able to pre order on the same day.
If you are not able to pre-order in a certain country, no one should be able to pre-order elsewhere. I am not happy the way this is being done, I understand Apple has technical problems, so stop pre orders deal with it and then start again.
Like everybody who wants an Iphone 4 I can not waist all day trying to acces the website as I have work to do.
But I also do not want to come to pre-order and havbing to wait longer than the 24th June becouse too many people have been ordering this while the uk site has been down.

I was able to order the bumpers for it about 45 min ago and now I have order the Iphone 4, but I still have friends that have not been able to order.
Just need to keep trying till is fix! I'm ok now which is the most important.
I know is hard and they will be overloaded but should be coping, i thought they coped very well with the Ipad!

For those that pre-ordered on-line, did you get a separate email to accept terms?

My order has been processing since Sunday. I called customer service and she said I never accepted the new terms. She said I should have received a separate email but I swear I accepted terms when I pre-ordered on the site (no such email in inbox or deleted items). She said I'd have to place another order at this point because the "Term" system malfunctioned which would mean a 10/21 delivery vs 9/19 which is what my confirmation email states. I'm just curious about this mysterious second email because it doesn't sound like others received it either. My card was charged the pending $1 charge but she swears I won't get the "pending" order because she can't get the "Term" system to work on that order. Grrrrr!

That is just something they make you do to "feel better" to make you feel like you did something, customer service reps do it all the time.
Take xbox live support for example, one of the simplest fixes for an Xbox360 was to unplug the power for 15 seconds, then plug it back in. However, customers would never do it, or lie that they did it or felt that turning the power button off should do the same thing.
The simple way for customer service reps to get people to remove power from their unit was to have them "re-seat the hard disk" and to re-seat the hard disk you wanted to make sure the device was not plugged into power so you wouldn't run the risk of losing data. Of course re-seating the hard disk didn't do anything, but it got people to remove power.
You were asked to accept terms so that
A.) you felt like you did something
B.) you felt like you were helped
C.) get you off the phone/line/chat
but in reality it was all for not

Wait for Event not being picked up by workflow

Hi,
We have a purchase order workflow that has a parallel branch with a wait for event of 'Released' on it. The theory is that if a PO is released the workflow will finish. We have a situation where POs are created then released straight away by an idoc. In the event log we can see the release step created event and it correctly starts the workflow however the released event follows at exactly the same time and the workflow does not seem to notice this so it sends a released PO to a user to be released. I hope this makes sense. Can anyone think of a reason why this might be happening? Does it need a slight delay between the two events? In SWEINST the linkage is active and when I look at the entry for one of these POs it tales me to the correct workflow.

Hi,
You could possibly create a check function module for the event. In the check function module you check some specific variable (if there is something you can use) - for example if the event was created by a certain user or if the PO is a certain type(?). Then if your condition is fulfilled, you raise an exception and no event will be triggered => no workflow.
This is just one possible solution.

Why can I not pre order the iPhone 6 with us cellular?

Yuo can pre-order the iPhone 6 for a coupe carries but not US cellular (which is my carrier). Just wondering why that is.

Preorders are not live yet.
Us cellular is not a major carrier and will not be sold by Apple.
You will have to go through the carrier to get one, when they carry it.

IPhone available for retail on pre-order day for non upgrade eligible?

I have heard some rumors circulating that the iPhone won't be available at retail price on the pre-order date. Is this true? Because I plan to watch the site for the first availability of pre-order so I have the phone first, if not before the people who purchase in stores. I would think not because I have heard a lot of people plan to pay retail if necessary like I do.

Workflow - WAIT for Condition not working

Dear All,
This is regarding the WAIT step of workflow. It was used as WAIT for Condition. The condition is to check the application server's time (system field) with some local variable of time. Till this step meets the condition specified, the workflow will wait for some x hours. If this condition is satisfied, the workflow is expected to continue with the next steps.
During the execution of the workflow, the wait step history shows that it is created successfully. But in ready status only. In the graphical log it shows <i>No Agent </i> along with this wait step.
There is no field wherein I could assign this agent. Also the job SWWDHEX is working fine.
Kindly help in sorting out this issue.

Thanks for your response. I tried using the Deadline monitoring in Activity step. I tried using the Requested Start tab with Expression for this step. The requirement is to hold the processing for some x hours depending on following business requirements -
If there is a ticket for issue with New status then wait for X hours. During this X hours the technician is supposed to acknowledge the ticket. So hold the workflow for X hours and as the X hours are over, check for ticket status. If the ticket status is still new then escalate it to managers saying ticket not acknowledged using Send Mail step.
Hence I had to ask the workflow to wait for some X hours.
The Requested Start tab requires the reference Date/Time + a direct input value (ZZ) for min or hour or day etc fields.
Now here the Time field is either a reference time AT which the activity will start with a delay of the ZZ Min/Hours/Day that we give in the next field OR this Time is exact value of time for which the workflow should hold.
e.g.
1.
Date 27-Dec-06
Time 00:10:00
+ 1 min
then here it is either 11 min, the workflow should hold for processing or
it is on 27th Dec 2006, 12 past 10'O clock time and when this time reaches, the workflow should wait for 1 min and then proceed.
As none of the above logics were working. So I couldn't exactly make out what this Time field actually requires. I thought it was time when reaches the workflow should hold for some ZZ min.
Again, the time value what I can give to this workflow is of application server time. But in the log of the workflow shows that work item refers to presentation server time everywhere. Hence it is difficult to compare also.
So finally I took a wait step wherein both the variables of the time were given to starting event of workflow.
Kindly help me in sorting out this issue.

Waiting for iWork 09 DVD order -- can I get the serial number immediately?

I just ordered the iWork 09 DVD, and I'll probably have it in 5 days or so. But I want to start working with it today.
I do have the trial version on my computer. Can I just get the serial number from my iWork order to start using the trial version, while I wait for the DVD?

The service is the same, isn't it ?
When you download, it's instantaneously usable. When you file an order for the physical one, you have to wait several days.

Wait for Event not Complete

I have a Wait for Event step in a simple workflow. My problem is that the step won't complete even if the event is already triggered.
In SWEL, the event is there, and Object Key and everything else seem right to me. And the Work Item Instance is there too. Check picture 1 for screenshot of Event Trace.
In SWI1, everthing is fine except that the Wait for Event has only one action "Wait step Created". The WorkItem ID is the same as Receive Object Key in Event Trace. The object in the Wait step has an instance and LPOR is correct.
The configurations in Instance Linkage is also attached. I suppose it should be automatically added when Wait for Event is set up in the workflow. But there was no entry so I had to do it manually. I also tried Receive Call method CL_SWF_RUN_HANDLER_EVT_RECEIVE. The result was the same.
A screenshot of SWU0 is also attached. To me it says "something is wrong" which I already know well.

I agree, it looks okay.

There is no need to do that, in fact it may be causing the problem. Try removing it.

Why do you say that? I would use SWUE to create the event.

Are there any iphone4s for sprint? I ordered mine almost two weeks ago yet they not even shipped it out.

So on oct 17th i ordered my iphone from apple online and i was told i would recive it in two weeks yet they have not even shipped it but thats not my question. My question is how come my friend who ordered it a week after me already has recived his iphone? Is it because he is on verzion?

Quite possibly. Different suppliers have different availabilities. No mystery there.
