Walking Dead has gone from Youview - option greyed...
I have been recently been enjoying watching series 2 of the Walking Dead. This morning I went to watch episode 9 but found that my bookmark had been deleted and that I could not select the Walking Dead in the box set section of the Vision app.
The walking dead is listed, but it seems to be greyed out and when trying to select it it just skips to the programme below. The same thing happens for the Inbetweeners too. That option is also greyed out.
I was only watching the Walking Dead a couple of days ago so I do not understand why the box set is no longer accessible even though it is listed and was not due to be removed until 28th February. Can anyone shed light on why this might be the case?
I suspect those are controlled by 4OD (Inbetweeners) and ITV Player (Poirot) so it may not be down to BT that they get removed.
Actually thinking about it it looks like some of the menus use common structures on both Youview and th Bt Vision new look.
On the BT Vision new look the 4OD and ITV stuff is provided from within the BT application wheras I believe on Youview it is provided outside of the BT app. So you may find what you are looking for in the 4OD and ITV player areas rather that within the BT app.

Right click on the background in the work area, and you should be able to change it from there. -

Now you can put in DFU mode (Hold Sleep and Home button 10 seconds and then release the power button kand keep pressing on the home button.) Now you will be able to restore it in iTunes.

I downloaded IOS6 earlier today and my 4S has died twice, it has gone from 45 to 32% in the last 5 minutes and i have icloud, internet, all apps closed with nothing running at all!! I can send and receive calls.
I get "messaging stopped" when doing a lot of texts.
Texts come up "ghosted" meaning they have the text on the bottom and a transparent one overlaid on top. they then become one. But I get the ghosting most of the time when I go into a message from a contact to send a text.
When I go to call logs or text logs, the numbers come up first, and then then the names pop up randomly, meaning not in order down the page, until they are all shown. lots of lag time.
It runs slow.
I have 5 apps on here. I should be able to have a lot of apps on here, and play music, and have files, and...and....and.
I can get online but doing a Google search, when the page with the choices comes up, it is blurred and I have to tap on the screen for it to become clear and readable.
When online and scrolling, it hitches sometimes/lags/gets stuck then unstuck
I get VZWAVS has stopped. (not sure if those are the right letters)
The status bar that is supposed to be gray with the new update, goes back and forth between green--the old os--to gray. And I have found no continuity with when I get green or when I get gray.

I want to listen to internet radio as I used to do. The selection "Radio" has gone from my list under "Music". How do I get it back again?
I don't know if this is what you really want, but I created a Playlist for Radio, and add some of the stations I like from websites. (If you click on the web-links they load into iTunes in the Sidebar). And you can also add individual Radio stations from the top right,(under Apple) to a Playlist. That's the only way I know to have them in the Sidebar.
Z_ZS-B, You also helped me to find the old Radio list! I didn't even know it was up on the right, under Apple. I haven't liked this version of iTunes so I hadn't even bothered to try and figure it out until now, but because I just bought a my first iPod Shuffle I'm determined to bend this version to my will. ;-) -

Whoa whoa no need to go restoring stuff yet, once you've done that check to verify you have done what Overlook2011 IF that doesn't work for calendars ensure your default account for calendars is set to iCloud and in calendars that it is told to "Show all calendars"

Until you have tried Maps, Music, etc. first hand, I wouldn't formulate negative opinions about them. And updates, if performed correctly, do not erase data.
I presume that last time you updated through iTunes. This time, update over Wi-Fi by going to Settings > General > Software Update. -

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar.
