Wall Charger doesn't work!!!!!

Hi everyone
I have a wall charger or USB power supply.
I used it with my Ipod mini for a very long time and it worked really well
Now I got an Ipod touch but i can't change it by using the charger
this is the information of the charger please help me
Input:100-240V 50-60Hz 0.04A
Output: DC 5V 500mA

I have an iPod touch 16gb, updated to 1.1.3.
My experience with 3rd party chargers is that my touch gives no indication that they are charging the device, but the iPod touch ends up getting fully charged.
I have posted on a few threads on this issue. I'm going to the Genius Bar tonight to see what they say.
Be aware that after a bout with a third party charger, the power meter may read low, but after a few minutes of use it corrects itself.
I suspect that the combination of "no indication of charging" with the "bogus reading after charging" is leading a lot of folks to conclude incorrectly that their 3rd party charger isn't working.
That is, if their iPods are working like mine is...

  • What do I do if the the wall charger doesn't work for the ipad2?

my ipad 2 won't charge with the wall charger. What do I do if that happens?

If it's saying 'not charging' it is likely still charging, just at less than optimum and will take much longer than normal. You can go and get a new brick at almost any retail outlet. (yours could be covered under warranty if it's not too old, but sending it off doesn't help you charge it while it's gone)
If you buy a new brick and still get the 'not charging', you can also swap out the USB cord. If you try it with multiple outlets, multiple bricks and multiple cables...you can try to reset your iPad, either power cycle it or hold down the home and sleep button until you see the apple logo.
If you reset it and have used multiple combinations of outlets and bricks and cables then it's a very good possibility that your docking port/USB port on the iPad is going bad. Which means, depending on how old it is, you can likely exchange it or send it in for replacement/repair.

  • I turned my ipod off, and it won't turn back on. charging doesn't work and it won't be recognised by wi-fi or usb connections. How do i fix it?

Check your cable whether it is good. If it is use the wall plug to charge at least half an hour. See how it goes.

  • Power charger doesn't  work

I bought iPhone5 last week, and its already broken, had to go to the store where I bought it, then they said I had to go to Apple store, then I went to the apple store on Grandcentral, and had to wait for 3 hours, and their attitude was pretty BAD. I spend metrocard, and I took day off for this incident. AND NOW, this iPhone's power charger doesn't work! I call to Apple, and their attitude was also REALLY BAD! I DEF NEED my iPhone charger ASAP, and I REALLY WANT THEM to refound my metrocard charge to go back and forth this annoying issues!!!!!
The Apple couster service person's name is MICHEAL OLIVER. His attitide was very very BAD!!! I told him I've been a MAC user since 1995, and had a bad experience for my 3rd MacBook ( within 6month its broken twice!), and this time is more annoying costmar service ever!!!

I'm sorry to read about your bad experience but you're not addressing Apple here. We are all users just like you. Please give Apple feedback here > http://www.apple.com/feedback/

Yes, the Lightning cables do fail sometimes. They are covered by the same one-year warranty as the iPod

  • IPhone 5c charger doesn't work

The wall charger never worked.  Connecting to my laptop worked once.  Now it doesn't charge at all.  I took it to the Verizon store and the person there confirmed it's the phone, not the charger, that is malfunctioning.  They didn't have my color in stock so suggested I go to the Apple store.  When I went there, the support people said they only exchange phones bought at the store!  Not off to a good start here with my new iPhone 5c.

Same here and I've wasted time trying to get customer service to replace and it would seem they are out of stock. In fact that can't even put me on the list to ship me one when their stock fills. I'm not very happy at all.

  • My iphone doesn't charger doesn't work all the time

I've had the iPhone 4s since about 3 months after it came out. Just recently, the charger doesn't always work when I go to charge my phone. Sometimes I blow on it and sometimes I have to plug and unplug it a few times before it starts to charge. Is this problem with my phone or is it the charger itself? Someone help! ... also, this has happened with my computer charger as well and I know it's not the outlet's I use because I've been to multiple locations where this problem has occured :/

I had a similar problem, and other answers allude to the kind of solution that works. What was rather annoying for me was that, by deleting a few apps, the iTunes display suggested I should have plenty of room. Furthermore, the error message included the bizarre phrase "the required space is 1.26MB but only 126MB is available": yes, more space available than needed by a factor of 100!
What seems to be the case is that the sync does not necessarily remove everything you specify for removal before copying things on that you want  on the device. Therefore, even if you have enough space for what you intend to have on your device at the end of the sync, it won't help if the space is insufficient to copy at least some things on in the first place. So I actually solved the problem by deleting one of the apps on the iPhone, which was an app I was going to remove anyway. In general (on iOS 8), go to Settings | General | Usage | Storage then choose something you are happy to be without.

  • IPhone charger doesn't work...?

I've been using the USB cable to charge my iPhone through my Mac this whole time.
I think this is the charger that came with my iPhone 4:
    But:
    1. It says "iPod Power Adapter" on the bottom.
    2. It doesn't work when I plug it in. (No reaction on the screen when it's fully charged.) But it works with an older iPod nano.
Earlier today, my iPhone was completely dead, I plugged it in with this charger, and it showed some weird connection icon in the bottom. I forgot how it looked. I pressed the hold button, and the main button, but it switched off. I couldn't get the screen back. I kept it in there for a while, nothing. Charged it via USB on my Mac with no problems.
    Another question:
Looking to buy an extra charger also, is it too good to be true here on Amazon, being sold for £3 and listed as "Official Apple"? The reviews on whether it's genuine are mixed.

How long did you have it attached to this? See the image below. If it looked like the symbol on the right (plug --> Lightning) then it was not connected and not charging. If it was the symbol on the left (lightning) then it was charging and you may have not let it sit long enough to have enough charge to turn on. A completely dead iPhone has to charge up to 5% before it can successfully turn on.

  • My FM transmitter and car charger doesn't work with my new iPod Touch.

As stated in the subject, when I connect my new iPod Touch to the FM transmitter and/or car charger that I was using with my iPod video, it doesn't work. When I connect the transmitter alone, nothing happens and when I connect the car charger, a screen appears that says something like, "charging not supported with this device"
Has anyone experienced these issues? Or does anyone know of a solution???

I bought the new iPod Touch 3rd Gen 32Gb model on the day they were announced. This is my first iPod, but my wife already owned an iPod classic. I tried the car charger that we had bought for her older iPod and I too got a message something like, "charging not supported with this accessory".
I saw the previous response and went out to shop for a new adapter. I found a Belkin kit that included the auto 12v power socket adapter that one can plug a USB cable into. The unit came with a USB cable that plugs into the iPod docking port. The kit also came with an AC home adapter with one USB port. My newer iPod charges just fine with both of these adapters.
So I would agree with the previous post. The newer units need the newer USB charging adapter rather than the older basic 12v adapter.

  • HT4528 iphone 4 charger doesn't work with iphone 5

I bought an iPhone 5 recently and discovered I cannot charge it using the iPhone 4 USB charger. I plug the Lightning cable into the new Apple USB charger that came with the 5 and it works. I plug it into my older 4 Apple USB charger (that looks 100% identical) and it doesn't work. iPhone 4 works on both.
    What the heck?

Check the output on both chargers and see if there is a difference.

  • Motorola Razr charger doesn't work for Zen Mi

    HI,
got the recommanded charger for my Zen Micro, but it doesn't really work. I let it charge 5 hours. Looking onto the charge information on my Mac I realized that it hasn't even charged one third. So I let it charge another 8hours which changed nothing. Any idea?

This firmware version is already in use. You keep holding the button to the left when you connect the player?
No. Turn the player on. Then slide the button the opposite way towards the headphone socket. It will stay in that position, no need to hold it. Then connect to the adapter.
If that doesn't work then try enabling USB mass storage mode, and while enabled again connect to the adapter.
