Wall charger for Xmod: 5.5V~700m
I bought a?wall charger for my Xmod which is spec'd at 5.5V~700mA. Is this OK for the Xmod?It is marketed for the?some of the same products as one of the Creative adapters (ZEN Neeon, ZEN Micro, ZEN MicroPhoto, ZEN V, ZEN V Plus). Someone said: Official Creative Adapter - 5V / 2.4 ASomeone else said : Xmod power requirements are 5VDC at A?Tips, please.
The Xmod manual says?the?AC adapter needs to provide 5v / A. Be it right or wrong, I use a?small, 4 port powered USB hub (normally for computers)?as an alternati've?power source to a?less?useful?AC adapter for my Xmod. I'm pretty sure it only puts out?00mAs. I'm not sure about that but I compared it to similar ones at a RS when I bought a more powerful (500mA) one with 7 ports. It works perfectly fine as far as I can tell; no difference between using that and powering it off the very same USB hub connected to the computer or the newer, more powerful one. Neither is amp but as far as I know, as long as you don't go over the amperage there is no need to worry about damaging it. This is a way to save some money (around $0 or so) on an AC adapter plus power up to 3 other USB powered devices at the same time (and recharge some too), plus can come in handy as a 4 port hub on a laptop. Something to think about. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about the above.

Where can I buy a wall charger for a third generation iPod Touch?
Does anyone know where I can buy a wall charger for a third generation iPod Touch? I am giving this iPod to my father because I want to buy myself a fifth generation iPod Touch for my birthday. Could I just get an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 or 4S wall charger and use that? I used my brother's iPhone 3GS wall charger, when I was visiting him out of state, and it worked just fine.
Any wall charger with a USB port will work. You can go to Target or BestBuy and other places too. An iPhone charger is fine.

Does the wall charger for a 17" macbook pro work on my new Macbook Pro?
I searched for docs and specs but can't seem to come with anything. Does the wall charger for a 17" macbook pro work on my new Macbook Pro?
Well, obviously you have NO faith in me or you wouldn't ask.
Go to the Apple Store online. Search for laptop power products and look for Apple's replacement AC adaptors. One is the 60 watt model for MacBooks. The other is the 85 watt adaptor - now read this very carefully because it's in smaller, lighter print - which says for 15" and 17" MacBook Pros. Will you take Apple's word? -
Apple wall charger is too much costly so if u have an existing USB wall charger for ur camera or ur phone, use it to charge ur ipod.
Make sure that the output ampere rating is min 1A.
But if u have to buy one buy other makes like Phillips only for $7.
I am using my Kodak camera charger with the OEM usb dock connector......no problrm at all.
Save & donate for charity.- While charging try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Next try restoring the iPod via iTunes. First from backup and if still problem restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
- However, I really think that the iPod has a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. If defective Apple should give you a refurbished iPod. -
About wall charger for itouch 3rd gen
erm where can i buy Wall Charger for itouch 3rd gen without/non USB in singapore?
I never heard of 2X vs 5X LCD screen for the iPod Touch. This place sell screens and the prices seem reasonable. You will have to maneuver around the site to find your model iPod.

Will my old wall charger for Zen Vision:M will work with the (New) Z
i bought a wall charger from amazon for my Zen Vision: M 30GB, will it work with the (New)Zen? i just bought the Zen 6 GB and it doesn't comes with an adapter, pretty bad move there, well, does it has the same plug? i hope it's compatible. thanks
sebastiankf,
That third party adapter from your Amazon link is hard wired specifically for the Vision:M and will not work with any other Creative player unless it has the same pin-outs using the same docking interface. The Creative AC-5V adapters will either have a coaxial power plug connection that will work with most of the Creative hard disk based players, except for the original NJB and Zen Micro, or a USB Mini-B plug that will work with all of the flash players that have a USB connection and the Zen Micro. -
I have a USB Adapter/wall charger that I use for my cellphone but I don't know if I can use it for my ipod touch 5.... how will I know if it is compatible with my ipod touch?
Yes, any USB wall charger will work with an iPod.

Using wall charger and am now getting error message "charging not supported by this accessory." Have been using since December and this is first time I have encountered this.
Did you look to see if there is debris or dust causing the problem? Get a flashlight and take a look to make sure.
Is there something in the USB end of the cord perhaps?
You didn't answer this question ....Are you using the charger and cord that came with your iPad?
You could try changing cords if you have another one available to see if it is the cord. Have you tried connecting to your computer to see if you get the same message?
You could try a hard reset by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears, let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. Then try the charger again. -
I recently purchased an ipod mini. Can I use the same wall charger I use for my ipod touch or will that not work.
See link below about iPhone, iPod, Using the iPad Charger
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. Searching for wall charger for use in China.
Hi everyone.
I have been searching the Internet for a wall charger solution for use in Hong Kong (China). Does anyone have any recommendations? So far I have found these.

Cheers! Those should work. But, the adapter that came with your phone can run on 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz - so, all you really need is a plug adapter like this one. You can find them at Radio Shack, travel stores, etc.
