Wallet Manager not Installed?

For some reason, I can't seem to find the 'owm' executable on an Oracle 10.1.0.2 Standard Edition database. I have searched in the standard spots 'ORACLE_HOME/bin/owm' as well as all throughout the ORACLE_HOME but it does not seem to exist.
I don't know much about the history of the system, i.e. was it upgraded from an earlier version, but I always thought that the Wallet Manager has been a standard component since Oracle 9i. Is this not true?
I don't remember this as being an option on installation, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Does anyone know how I would go about installing Oracle Wallet Manager? Thanks for any help you can provide.

All security options are part of EE in the table. And I have a EE, standart installation, found wallet manager -
[oracle@tcellhost db_1]$ find . -name owm
./bin/owm
./owm
./owm/jlib/help/owm
./inventory/Templates/owm

    shocklizzard,
I'm sorry that there was previously no support for Snow Leopard.  However, the latest version of MM for Mac (v1.1) includes support for that OS.
Make sure you uninstall the previous version (if you haven't already) first.

  • Aplple Device Manager not installing

I went to update my IPhone 5S to iOS8 I went to update iTunes (Windows 8.1) as prompted to 11.4. When doing so it rolled back during the install process and failed. It suggested reinstalling. So I used Apples kind uninstalling the 5 things in order. Did this!
Now when I go to reinstall the new version from the website, it install. Rolls back and carries on. Doing so it doesn't install the Apple Mobile Device service. When I plug my phone in ITunes recognises it but displays a message saying "The iPhone is not compatible as ITunes isn't a 64 bit copy" when it actually is. ITunes is not recognised by My Computer either.
I've tried updating drivers in "Device Management" they all fail saying MTP Device error. I did manage to get a workaround install AMDS separately from an older version in "Program Data/Apple". This removed the error from ITunes but the IPhone did not appear whatsoever and still not on My Computer. ? Searched 100's of forums and tried different methods but there is no definite answer. Tried another IPhone and the same problem occurs. I think the problem is linked to AMDS not installing and the windows drivers
Can someone please help me solve this mess?

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component, such as Apple Mobile Device Support, won't install normally.
In your case I suggest you start with a clean download of the setup file using the direct link. If reinstalling AMDS alone doesn't work try tearing everything down again and then install each component in turn.

  • Ipod 5th Generation 80 GB / Device Manager / Driver not Installed / Code 28

Well, where do I begin! Got my 1st Ipod 2 days ago & still unable to use it! I have installed & uninstalled the itunes 7 software numerous times. On phone w/ Apple for 1 hour...followed by online chat help w/ Dell.
I've tryed 4 different USB ports on my computer. The device Manager shows the Ipod w/ a ? and a ! in yellow. The add new hardware tells me, "Drivers for this device are not installed. Code 28." My computer reconizes that the ipod is plugged in, but will not do anything. There is no communication between the 2. Keeps telling me to insert cd for software for ipod.
Help! Does seem that other people are having similar issues. I think a software cd should of been provided w/ the ipod....not sure if that would of corrected my problem.

    Hi,
Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run. the Run dialog appears,
    Type %temp%, then click OK.
locate and enter into the HP Installation temporary folder, start with the 7Z characters.
If you can see several folders starting with 7Z, locate the latest one.
Click the Address bar area, then the full address path will appear,
Copy the full path location by clicking CTRL + P while the path is selected.
    Enter the Device Manager.
Right click the printer name with the error mark, then click Update Driver.
Select the second option to manually locate the driver.
Paste the temporary folder path and click Next (Keep Include Sub Fulders marked), the driver should be updated.
Please let me know of any change,

  • Can not locate Workgroup Manager; possibly not installed?

    Here's the story:
I'm trying to get my new camera software installed and one of the steps is to launch Image capture.
Image capture gives me an error saying: "No Image Capture Device connected."
Apple says to fix this I need to open Workgroup Manager (in /Applications/Server/) and change some preferences.
But, I can not find Workgroup Manager for the life of me. I used spotlight with no luck. I also don't have a folder in Applications titled Server. This worries me and makes me wonder if the program could have been deleted or not installed at all?
Any suggestions on how to find WgM would be welcome.

Whoa... somebody got confused someplace... I wouldn't guess you are running OSX Server on a MacBook, but the oSX CXlient instead, so no idea how Apple came up wih that solution.
You likely should not have a Server folder there, nor the APP they speak of.
What kind of Camera exactly, and how does it connect?

  • Device Manages is indicating the driver is not installed

    Hi,
I have a HP Photosmart C410 multifunction device, which is connected to my home network wireless network.
I have a Microsoft Surface Pro with Windows 8.1 and have installed the HP installation sortware PS_AIO_07_C410_140_408 .exe and HP-ePrint-win-4.5.52.12202 .exe.
I reinstalled the software again, yesterday.
However the Device Manager is indicatijg that the Driver is not installed:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."
How do I fix the problem?

    Hi Dave_C,
I understand the software isn't installing properly.
I will be happy to help you.
I would do a level 3 uninstall and reinstall the software again.
Go to the tiles screen, (start up screen)
start typing %temp%, open the folder starting with 7z, (Example: 7zS2356) util, ccc, uninstall_L3.
When the uninstall has completed, restart the computer.
Here is a URL to temporarily disable all the start up programs to see if one of them is causing any issues.
How To Change Windows 8 Startup Programs.
Temporarily turn off any Antivirus software.
    Then reinstall the software again.
You will have to follow the same steps to enable all again and turn the Antivirus software back on again.
    Hope this helps.

  • How do I tell the CC application manager that Lightroom is not installed on my pc?

Before i got CC i was using Lightroom 5 swedish version for evaluation. I used application manager to install an English version by setting the language to English but language after CC installation of Lightroom is still Swedish. Checking the language settings again after installation it was set to English. Now I uninstalled Lightroom using control panel to remove it completely and my intention was to reinstall it from CC. However, the application manager still claims that Lightroom is installed. How do I get the CC application manager to understand that lightroom is not installed and when I do reinstall it it should be in English?

  • Graphics Card Does Not Show Up In Device Manager (Re: Installing AMD Video Drivers - Windows 8.1 (Step-By-Step Tutorial)

This tutorial is a step-by-step tutorial on how to "fix" issues of a new graphics card not appearing in Windows 8.1 Pro, or not appearing (as a device) in Device Manager, or it's not being detected by Windows 8.1.
This is the "second part" of a Step-by-Step Tutorial on how to install AMD Radeon graphics card drivers in Windows 8.1 Pro.
GRAPHICS CARD IS NOT DETECTED AND DOES NOT SHOW UP IN WINDOWS 8.1 DEVICE MANAGER
This problem can appear if the video card is not installed properly in the PCI slot and as a result the card is not detected in device manager. Check the physical connections again, reinsert the card properly in the PCI slot, check the connections (including the power cables going to the video card, and ensure that the fan on the graphics card is spinning and the card does have power and is properly seated/inserted) and then install the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
If the video card is in fact installed properly, but the problem of the video card not being discovered/found by the operating system persists, then try these following methods below to check if this solves the problem.
    Method 1:
First, I would suggest you to run the following Microsoft Fixit to get the problem automatically detected and fixed. This Microsoft "fixit" App checks if the device is currently disabled or turned off or the driver is not installed.
Hardware devices are not working or are not detected in Windows.
    http://support.microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems/en-us
    Method 2:
Sometimes, some devices in device manager are hidden due to corrupt or missing drivers.
Follow the steps below to show hidden devices in the device manager and troubleshoot accordingly.
Press the Windows key + X
    Select Command Prompt (Admin)
Type set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1 and hit enter
Type Start DEVMGMT.MSC and hit enter.
Once in Device Manager hit the View menu and select show hidden devices.
From here, remove each instance of the AMD or Nvidia card you see as well as each unknown device. Exit Device Manager and reinstall the latest drivers you can find for your graphics card.
After you install the drivers, reboot and see if you get any different results.
If the above solved your problems and the Graphics Card is now working and is now being properly detected/displayed in Windows Device Manager:
If your graphics card is now being detected by Windows 8.1 in Device Manager, but has a "yellow exclamation" mark (or video drivers are not found or not properly installed or the device is disabled) then install the latest graphics card drivers and proceed with this Step-by-Step Tutorial on how to install AMD Radeon graphics card drivers in Windows 8.1 Pro.
    Method 3:
If methods suggested above does not help, I would recommend you to contact Apple/AMD/NVIDIA to get the latest chipset, BIOS, graphics card drivers installed properly.
