Wallpaper from a picture bug?

Can someone try this and report results... Open a picture, and select "set as wallapaper", and see if it actually set. I've tried it with 2 pics, and when o nthe locked screen, I just see a black background instead of the picture.

it worked fine for me with 2.1.1 but just noticed it happening now, after I updated to 2.2

From your homescreen, select settings, wallpaper and select any picture you want from the downloaded wallpapers or a picture from your device.

Unable to Import from My Picture Folders

I today downloaded Photoshop Album 2 Starter. The following ODBC error message was received (Internal Error : Data Not Found)when I tried to import folders with images from 'My Pictures'. All my images previously held by my previous Photoshop Album 1 software were transferred and are fully functional.
Also, I have tried Picasa and Roxio and there are no problems associated with them!
I am a keen photographer looking for (hopefully) Photoshop Elements/Album software but I need to resolve this problem - I am not 'well read' in IT matters so if someone out there can help me please try to keep it simple. Thank you.

Hi Charles, You may try clearing all your preferences and then use Photoshop Album Starter Edition. Further, Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 is now avilable for download so may try using the lastest version. Please delete psa.prf file (and other files) from <C:\Documents and Settings\<logon name>\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Album>. Application data is a hidden folder so you need to change view options in explorer to be able to view hidden files. i.e. In Windows explorer --> Tools menu --> Folder Options...--> View tab, select options to see hiddden files and folders. Let us know, if your problem is resolved.

I often proof my work in preview then edit images in photoshop and rename from there. The dsc images are renamed to correlate the name of the class etc. i.e. dcs_001 is saved as the file name required 7A.jpeg etc.
The file names are required to correlate what is what and so on..........

Hi, first, you should prevent the iTunes library auto sync with iPhone: Launch iTunes > click Preferences... > click Devices. In the window, check the option 'Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically'. Next, connect your iPhone with your computer via the USB cable. Click the mini menu for iTunes on the very top left and click the option 'Show menu bar'. After then you can see iTunes File, Edit, View, Control, Store and Help menus on the ribbon. Click File > Devices > Transfer purchases from (your iPhone name). You can also access to the File menu by holding down Alt (Option on Mac), Shift and F keys. This is how to get your iPhone purcahsed song transferred to iTunes Library.

You need to connect the Apple TV and the computer to the same network and then turn on "Home Sharing" in iTunes. Check boxes allow you to select what you want to share.
You'll see a "Computer" icon on the Apple TV and it holds all your music, movies and photos.

Copying a page from one picture book into another

Does anyone know how to copy a page from one picture book into another. I have made 2 books and would like to make a third consisting of pages from the first 2 but seem unable to do it without starting again, or at least starting from a duplicate of one and re doing all the missing pages.

print each page you want to include in "book 3" to a PDF and use the send PDF to iPhoto option - this will give you the pages as images in iPhoto that you can them place into "book 3"

I'm having the same issue. I saved a PDF from an email into iBooks. I'm on apple applying for a job but the only option the upload button has is from the Photos file. How ironic right? Luckily I'm in Logistics and not an IT specialist applying for this job! Lol. Does anyone know the fix?

Reload the page. If it doesn't load, choose Activity from Safari's Window menu, find that picture in the list, and see what it says to the right; this may reveal what the problem is.

Why can't l click and drag a photo from my pictures library to my iphone?

I am trying to move photos from my laptop to my iphone. I have tried clicking and dragging individual photos from my picture library to the iphone but l receive a message saying my iphone is not responding.

There has never been a function to copy anything from an iPhone and paste it to a computer.
All of your media should be in iTunes already.
If it is not and was purchased from iTunes, right click on the device and select Transfer Purchases.
If the media is not in iTunes and was not purchased from iTunes, how did you get it on the device in the first place?

I made a picture collage in pages from the pictures in iPhoto. You used to be able to print and then say save as a jpeg to iPhoto and that option is gone. How do you turn your document into a jpeg now.

If you chose print, you can save as PDF. If you open the saved PDF in preview, you can save as JPEG, GIF, PNG. FYI you can crop in preview.
Another option is you could use command + shift + 4 to do a screen shot of a specific part of of the screen.
