Wann sync iPhone with work PC and home PC

please help!!! Wanna sync my iPhone with work PC and home PC without deleting always the whole content on it.

The iphone will sync itunes content and pics with one and only one computer at a time. If you sync itunes content and/or pics to another computer, then the itunes content and pics ( photo album) will first be erased from the iphone, then replace with content from the new computer.
What is it that you are trying to sync?

I love my new iPhone 3G!
There is just one main thing remaining that I need it to do in order to fully replace my previous Windows Mobile phone functionality:
I need it to keep my work Outlook's contacts and calendars synchronized with my home Outlook (Outlook 2003 on Windows XP PC). Note: I do not want separate sets of work and personal contacts and/or calendar items, since I want all contacts and calendar items in both systems (differentiate by the Outlook category field).
With my previous Windows Mobile phone, it would sync with my work Exchange account (via wireless ActiveSync), and then resolve this with my local/home PC's Outlook when connected to my PC (using the local version of ActiveSync). When done, any contact or calendar change made at work, on my phone, or on my home PC would eventually be synchronized with all 3 systems (i.e., phone, work Outlook, and home Outlook).
The new iPhone 3G first beautifully sync'd to my local/home Outlook with iTunes 7.7. Then, when I configured my work Exchange ActiveSync with contacts and calendar sync on, it unfortunately cleared those sync'd items. Now the iPhone is beautifully sync'd with my work Outlook via Exchange ActiveSync, but iTunes will no longer allow my local sync. Thus, any changes at work or on the iPhone are not reflected at home
I researched this a little, and I see that the Apple MobileMe service may be able to help me. Can anyone tell me if it will allow me to sync the exact same items with my local Outlook, the iPhone, and directly/indirectly with my work Outlook (via Exchange ActiveSync)?

SteveI'm excited to finally sync my work email with my iPhone. Our IT didn't support it and we work off of an Exchange server. I, too, was nervous about which contacts to sync. While I want my work email, I don't need my contacts and would rather have mine from my mac at home. Unfortunately, you can only do one at a time. The following paragraph is from a c net review. Sync iPhone with Work and home computers
I have a new iPhone 3GS. I have set it up to sync with my calendar and contacts at work but because I am not able to load music on my work computer I want to load my music via iTunes on my home computer.
Can I sync calendar and contacts from one PC and music from another?yes, you can do this, however, i am not 100% sure how it's done. if you look through the forum, you'll find other posters who had this question.
i am pretty sure you have to turn on manually manage stuff on your work system, but again, look through the forum and you'll find an answer. -
Syncing iPhone with new MBP and/or iMac
I'm ready to upgrade my white MacBook 13" and I'm a new iPhone user as of Jan'10. My question is will it be painless to connect my iPhone to a new MacBook Pro or iMac and have iTunes recognize it? Would there be any complications maybe? Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Disable autosync in itunes, connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.
This will save data, pictures taken with the phone and settings to itunes. See what's included in this backup here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer. Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your phone got wiped during the first sync.
The rest of the data can be restored from the backup you made.

Problem with syncing IPhone with Outlook mail and calendar
I followed all the instructions to reload, replug, turn on/off iphone & computer, but my new iphone still will not sync. The message says that sync is in progress; syncing calendar, and then:
Error message: "Could not sync calendar to the IPhone because the IPhone disconnected."
Any other suggestions?I am having the same problem with my phone.
It works sometimes but usually it stops syncing in the middle of the operation.
The syncing prompt dissapears from the iPhone and then Itunes locks up..
Hopefully sombody has an answer?! -
I just got an iPhone 4 as an upgrade from the original iPhone 3. I came home and tried to sync it with my iTunes and it says I need to upgrade my iTunes to work with the 4. The current version of iTunes isn't compatible with my G5 mac????? Help

When syncing iPhone with iTunes I get an iTunes stopped working and the network connection timed out message. I reinstalled iTunes and checked settings still no go.
Disable or turn off your firewall, anti-virus, and all security software and try the download again.

Basically, you put the same itunes database file on all the PCs. This fakes itunes into thinking it is always the same PC and the ipod is OK to sync with it. It will NOT keep your libraries truly synced, though. I've just resigned myself to always buying from one PC and manually transferring the content to other PCs I want it on. -
The computer that I normally sync my iphone with has crashed and all info lost.... I'm trying to sync and update with my new laptop but I am getting an error meassage that if I continue all purchases, apps etc will be deleted..... How to I do this without losing all my stuff??? The official way to do it is to restore the iTunes library that was on your old computer to your new computer using the backup of your whole system you regularly update. Then you are syncing the phone with the same old library.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.

Thank youFirefox Home was dropped from support well before the new Sync system was developed, so no it will not work with the new system. We are however working on a new product for iOS, which will be able to sync with Firefox in the future using the new system.

my iphone's memory is near capacity from photo albums sync'ed with my mac and I haven't found out how to delete select albums to free up memory without wiping the iphone. Any suggestions??
You do the opposite of how you got them on your phone, you unsync the pics using iTunes.

I have the iPhone 5s. I synced it with my Mac and got all the old apps from my old phone. I was not able to update any of the apps on the old phone and they will not update on the new iPhone 5s either! What can I do?

It sounds like you are wanting to update the Apps that were synced over from your computer to your new iPhone 5s. If you are clicking Updates in the App Store in the bottom right corner, would you mind clarifying what happens when you are trying to update them?

I plugged my iphone in for the first time to my computer. I synced it with my itunes and it deleted everything. Now I don't know what to do because I did not even have the chance to back it up! everything is gone please please help me!
When you saw this dialog box, did you choose "Erase and Sync"?
If you did, your iPhone was erased, then your iTunes Library was transferred to it. If your iTunes Library was empty, your iPhone will be also.
Your previously purchased music, apps, books, and videos are still yours. You just have to download them again.

Why does my Safari open with American version, and home page with Apple iPhone 5 advert even though I have changed them in preferences, it happens every time no matter how many times I change them, when I open Safari its back to the USA and Apple home page.

Did you check the box that says 'Synchronize Apps'? This happened to a friend and after she enabled this synchronization she was able to use her apps as she did before.
