Want aterm to always open in tabs in fluxbox.can i?

hi fluxbox lovers
i really like fluxbox tabs feature.
now my question is can i configure it so that when i open two or more aterm(xterminals) it automatically opens them in single window in tabs.
i know multi-aterm and mrxvt are other terminal options with tab.
but i want to do it in fluxbox way so that other programs that doesnot support tabs, take benefit from it.

I updated Firefox and all the add-ons. Since that time, Every time Firefox is opened, it always opens four tabs.
One is my home page. One says Firefox has been updated. The other two are the notices for two add-ons that were updated.
It all began at the time I last updated my "Version-Three-Point-Something-Something..."
I tried upgrading to the latest version of Firefox.
This did not change my problem.

No change occurs when I try resetting the home page to "default."
It still opens my home page www.google.com and those other tabs.
I tried the steps in the article. No change.
I've also tried removing the addons and reinstalling them.
No changes - except that one or two fewer tabs pop up.
I have noticed that every restart of Firefox includes a "checking for compatibility of addons" pop-up.
In Add-ons Manager, I can un-check the "Update Add-ons Automatically."
Again, no change.

Firefox always opens all tabs that were opened when last closed

Firefox, out of the blue, started to always show my tabs from the last session when it is started. I checked that Firefox not listed in the task manager list after closing. So I tried the following:
- changing the option "when Firefox starts" to all three of the available choices
- change the browser.startup.page setting to 0 manually via "About:config"
- starting Firefox in safe mode.
None of these changed the behavior. It still opens the tabs that were last opened.
I am running V25.0. Any suggestions? This is a major annoyance.

Please make sure that you have not activated Firefox's restore tabs feature. See the article here:

If it is enabled then you can disable it by following the instructions in that article.

Since upgrading to version 32, firefox always opens old tabs when starting, even though i do not have this option set. Version 33.0.3 does the same.

When I updated Firefox to version 32, it started to always show my tabs from the last session when it is started. I tried changing the option "when Firefox starts" to all three of the available choices. None of these changed the behavior. It still opens the tabs that were last opened. I waited for the next release (33.0.3) but the behavior is still the same. I would like Firefox to open to my selected home page.
I'm running Windows 7 Pro.

One possibility is that Firefox keeps crashing during shutdown, and so Firefox is recovering from a crash every time. But if you can see that it is shutting down normally in your testing, that probably isn't it.
Sometimes external software will create or update an optional settings file named user.js. For some reason, one of the things that often shows up in there is a preference to restore your previous session just once. However, because Firefox uses user.js to override your normal settings every time it starts, that then turns into a permanent change. To check for this and remove any user.js file you find, try this support article: [[How to fix preferences that won't save]].

Pop-Ups ALWAYS opening new tabs in Safari 8.0

I was recently helping my boyfriend and had downloaded "unsafe" downloads onto my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 on Safari 8.0 and directly after downloading these links there are continuous pop ups showing up that are opening new tabs and they usually pertain to what I am looking up. Such as when I was logging into Apple Support MacKeeper and other various websites for virus protecting programs pop up. Also my home page is changed to a different site (the name is something along the lines of "Only" and their home page looks JUST LIKE Googles). Pop ups are happening ALL the time and it's getting very frustrating. I downloaded MacKeeper awhile back but I believe I was successfully able to uninstall it. Even when I am clicking on a link on Google or I accidentally tap my mouse pad and it clicks on my current website a pop up opens a new tab. I have cleared my caches, history, and cookies. My firewall, firevault, and all other precautions are turned on. What can I do to fix this problem I am having? ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thank you in advance (:

Homepage always opens to same old album - Can I change this?

My homepage always opens to the same album - the first one I created. How do I create an album that can function as the initial page that visitors see rather than have them opening to a particular album?? It seems that it should be easy to open to a general introductory homepage rather than an album, but if this is impossible, I want to create a general album that will open first.

Why can't I open new tabs. I can only have one tab at a time for when I hit the + button nothing happens

Since the last update (about a month or two ago) I have been unable open new tabs unless I find a webpage that takes me to a new link and therefore opens a new tab. It is highly annoying as I need to open multiple pages at once.

Uninstall the '''''Ask Toolbar'''''. It can cause that problem.

Clicking Fx in the Vista quick launch bar now always opens new window. How can I get it to open the current instance?

This may be a Vista issue since Opera now always opens with a new speed dial window instead of just recalling the browser. This problem is recent, perhaps a month old.
Fx is not the default so I don't know if it's also a link issue

Make yourself a copy of the Fx in the task list, then you can either create a new instance or activate the existing one.
Probably missing the point, but I have been away from Vista for quite some time.

HT1338 I wanted to set my Safari to open links in tabs instead of windows. I have gone to safai preferences and chose the correct setting to always open in Tabs. The setting does not seem to work. I have logged of then logged back in but still every link

I have gone to Safari preferences and have made the selection in TABS to open links in TABS instead of Windows. I have chosen "Always".
The setting has not stuck. I tried logging out then logging back in however it still does not work. Am I missing something?

I did not have any extensions and reset Safari. I have the most update versions as per screenshot

Firefox 17 always opens the tabs that were open the last time I closed it. I do NOT use restore history.

This has started happening since I upgraded to v.17. I close Firefox either with the Red X or the exit button on the dropdown menu. The next time I open, it displays whatever pages were open when I closed it.
I have always had Firefox use my Google account as my home page. It will not display.
It seems to me that in your quest to keep updated (how many this year...?) that you've lost a little something. This is very bad behavior and I'll just stop using FF altogether if it isn't fixed soon.

Make sure that Firefox closes properly and that there are no hanging Firefox processes left in the task manager.<br />
It is usually best to use the Exit item in the Firefox or File menu to close Firefox.

You can check for problems with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

I do not want my firefox to open in tabs, I want it to open different windows, how can I reset it back to open in a seperate window?

I do not like opening up a tab and then typing in a URL to go where I want to go. It was much better when I could search for something, and it would come up in a separate window. How do I change it back?

You can hold down the Shift key while left-clicking a link on web pages.<br />
You can add a New Window button to a toolbar via "View > Toolbars > Customize" to open a new window when needed. You can also drag (text) links onto that button to open links in a new widow.

How to always open DEFAULT tab?

Requirement : There are 7 tabs on screen. On opening this screeen, Tab 1 should be always disclosed and displayed.
Issue : Suppose user navigate to any other tab (say Tab3) and exit out of this screen. When user again come back to same screen Tab3 is disclosed and it is balnk.
At the time of display random tabs (Last selected by user) are displayed even after manually setting disclosed="true" for TAB1 and disclosed="false" for remaining tabs in jsff page.
Tabs are in one page only (no independent regions) hence appraoch of using PAGE-DEF file did not worked.
Any guidance in this matter is greatly appriciated.

Sorry I did not get it, can you please explain little more in breif. Are you suggesting to use 7 boolean variables ( ex disclosedTab1...disclosedTab7) and set the disclosed property of <af:showDetailItem> accordingly like for Tab1

Are you suggesting to keep value of disclosedTab1 as true by default.

Firefox always opens 2nd tab for Yahoo sign in

I had to reset Firefox to try to fix another software issue (which it didn't fix btw) and after the reset every time I open Firefox I get a 2nd tab for Yahoo asking me to log in to my Yahoo account even though I never sign out. I check the Keep me signed in box, enter my password and click sign in and then the next time I open Firefox I have to go through the process all over again because the Yahoo tab opens up AGAIN! I'm using the Yahoo Mail Notifier extension for Firefox but I've used it for years with no problems. I saw somewhere else that someone suggested going into the Options and the Privacy tab and under History making sure it was set to Use Custom Settings for History and that Use Private Browsing Mode was NOT checked and that Keep Cookies was set to Keep Until Firefox Closed with an exception for Yahoo. But mine was set to Remember History. However, when I set it to Use Custom the Private Browsing Mode wasn't checked, the cookies are set to Keep Until they Expire and there's a box to Clear History when Firefox Closes and it's NOT checked. Does anyone have any suggestions for what might be causing this? It's really frustrating!

Thanks, that was the culprit unfortunately. I really loved that button :-) But having to log in every single time is just too annoying.

BUG: navigateToUrl always opens new tab in browser, also when window parameter is specified

I have a problem navigating to a Url in the default browser in an Adobe Air project.
air.navigateToUrl(request, windowName) launches the browser and displays the page, but it displays a new tab for every request.
Here is a very simple example that shows the problem:

I am struck with the same issue as well.
It works for few sites like "http://www.adobe.com" and "http://www.google.com", but most of the sites open up in a new window, even if I specify custom name, like:
navigateToURL(new URLRequest("http://www.britishairways.co.uk"), "MyWindow");
Also tried through ExternalInterface viz:
ExternalInterface.call("window.open", new URLRequest("http://www.britishairways.co.uk"), "MySameWindow", "");
Please reply whether it is a bug, or there if there are any alternative approaches.
