Okay...what happened to the full screen contact picture? Is there a way to get it back? I'd like to see the full picture of the person I'm calling-not just an ugly blank screen with little round circles on it!!!!
I wrote my feedback there. Please everyone leave your feedback. The new 7.1 design is very impractical.
Why they crave so much about these ugly circles? There are lots of unused space available on the screen.
Please bring back the big rectangular buttons!!!!!!

This is done with new "tags" in the special html code and a secondary .mov file that acts as a "poster movie". When the visitor clicks on the poster movie the 'href' (linked file) URL loads in the QuickTime Player. The poster movie could be a small image file (saved as .mov) to act as a button.
QuickTime Player Pro can add special "Presentation" properties to a file such as "Full Screen" and "Quit when done".
Snow Leopard's QuickTime X doesn't seem to like the stored Presentation feature, however. One of my pages that shows how it works (sort of). View Source to see the html code.

Full screen mode: Picture becomes for one second blur
Now I noticed an additional strange behaviour.
I rendered all preview during the day.
I review all my pictures in full screen mode:
Open next picture
The whole picture is sharp
One second later: The picture becomes a little bit blur
An additional second later: The picture is sharp again
Open next picture: same happens again...
Open previous picture: It does not happen

Indeed. - I've always had a love/hate relationship with Lightroom - so cool in so many ways, and falls short in so many others...
If you're going to use it, you have to work around (or work with/within) it's limitations... - sorry.

ITunes movie playlist full-screen on tv for only the first one
Hi,
I am experimenting with getting what's on my MacBook Pro (15" 2ghz quad core, bought 5/11) displayed/played on my HD TV. I have tried all kinds of approaches (XBMC, Plex, Boxee (the software version), Front Row, Miro, Serviio, TV Mobli, Twonky, and who knows what else on the MBP as well as XBMC on an older Powerbook as well as using DirecTV's Media Share) but none are satisfactory. The current approach is to connect the MBP to the TV by a display port to HDMI cable.
The problem I am having is: when using iTunes to play movies on a playlist, I can get the TV to display the first movie as full-screen but when it comes to the next one, I lose full-screen. It reverts back to the original size of the video. When I play the same playlist on the MBP display, successive movies stay in full-screen. (Of the two movies i have tested, the first is an mp4; the next one is an m4v.)
Is there any way I can get movies played on an iTunes playlist to stay full-screen when displayed on the TV?
All of my movies are things I've recorded with EyeTV or otherwise captured or digitized and most are converted to QT. Some are flash, some are Mpegs and I may have a few other formats. Nothing has DRM. I don't have any copyrighted "real" movies; they're all little things (music videos, segment from home movies, etc) I have put together. (Features like "scraping" with Plex for example, are completely worthless/inappropriate for me and otherwise ruin what could be a good approach to dealing with all of my media.)
I would also be curious about anyone's ideas about the best way overall to display movies and pictures from the MBP onto the TV. For streaming video I will just drag a browser window over to the TV and then go full-screen. That works for me. It is important that I keep the MBP display free for the usual computer stuff. I don't want it blacked out or otherwise made useless so any suggestion has to bear that in mind. So far I can do almost all that I want but I haven't settled on the best way yet.
I am ok with having to switch the audio output on the preference pane to the TV when I do this.
I am having one other issue: Sometimes I will lose audio half-way into one of these short movies (3-4 minutes long) on my iTunes playlist. I have dragged the movie window back to the MBP display and it still has no audio. I will then restart that movie and it will play fine on the MBP. I don't know what is going on with that. I am worried that the cable may not be able to carry audio ALL the time but why would I still get no audio when I have dragged the movie window back to the MBP if the cable was at fault? Any ideas on what is going on here?

Not sure what the problem is. Using my iPhone 3G and component cable I watched Iron Man in widescreen on my Mitsu 62" tv but when I tried to play Journey to the Center of the Earth it will only play full screen. When I play it on the iPhone it will play in widescreen. Does anyone have a clue here because I sure don't. Thanks. Happy Thanksgiving. -
I'm trying to find an outlet for the frustration I feel regarding the "upgrade" that replaced my full screen picture for my contact numbers to a tiny, little dot in the right hand corner. Are they going to give us an option to go back or did someone just need to justify their job by making changes??

When I want to send a new email I click on file and then new message. Somehow, and I dont know how I have done this, it has gone into the full screen mode. I cant find in the right hand top corner the two arrows, pointing in opposite directions,to minimise the screen back to its "normal" position. Its very frustrating . I cant find anything other than the full screen. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Apple Windows Linux the menus for this are all the same. However it your talking getting rid of the apple menu. Then that is really an apple issue.

Reader XI do NOT want opening FULL SCREEN!
I am running Adobe Reader XI Version 11.0.2 on a Dell Windows 7 workstation with dual monitors. We generally have a dozen applications open and we bounce all around between them. Whenever I open a PDF document which ever monitor it was opened on last, it will open maximized on the display. I do *NOT* want it to open maximized and I have searched high and low, tried setting Preference settings for Full Screen, Documents, everything I can find and no matter what I do, as soon as I open a PDF it's full screen. I can get it to change how the document appears in the full screen view, like fit page or zoom to width, but it always opened FULL SCREEN!
How do I turn this feature OFF?!?!?!?!?!I think I found the cause of the issue. In my case, I use the Adobe Customization Wizard XI to create a transform file for installation. One of the options I have enabled is under Direct Connect. Under the "Property" table I have the option DISABLE_BROWSER_INTEGRATION set to YES. I originally set this value because I didn't want PDFs to open within IE in my environment, I wanted it to open in Acrobat. I found that in version XI, the usual place to control this setting within Acrobat was no longer there. In previous versions, I would go to Edit > Preferences > Internet and enable/disable the option to "Display PDF in browser".
The workaround that I have done for now is create a separate transform file with the option set to NO. I uninstall Acrobat and reinstall it with the new transform file. To prevent PDFs from opening within IE, I have to go into Manage add-ons within IE and disable the "Adobe PDF Reader" add-on. The problem is that disabling the add-on within IE is profile-specific, which means that if I have multiple users that share the same computer, I will have to change that setting for each user, which is a bit inconvenient.
I was hoping that this setting would be as easy as finding it in the registry somewhere and changing it there, but no such luck for me. I looked over the registry and didn't see where the key or value was located. Hopefully someone else with more knowledge than me can solve this puzzle.

How do I stop "Page" docs from locking?
I keep finding that documents I haven't used in a while open locked because they haven't been used for a while. I see this in both '09 Pages and Numbers. I see no way in either programs Prefs to stop this. Is there a way.
