Want iTunes to play continuously...

When playing tracks from my library, iTunes plays one track completely and then stops. I've changed the iTunes 'Controls' to 'Shuffle' and 'Repeat All', but it still only plays one song at a time... Thanks for your help!

I found it. The buttons used to be at the bottom of the screen, but they've now (I don't know when this was done) been moved to the top of the window where the song playing and the progress bar are displayed. They become visible when you play a song, and the button you need is the one on the left. Incidentally, while looking for this, I found that I'm not the only way who hates the latest versions of iTunes. I found a page where everyone shared my belief that it was one of Apple's bigest mistakes.

Why won't iTunes cloud play continuously?

I have the repeat/shuffle icons clicked ON but it plays one song and stops. I have to go click a new song to start playing every time.

Open iTunes and go to View>Show Sidebar and View>Show Status Bar. This will make the new version appear more like earlier versions. Then go to the Controls menu at the top, choose Shuffle and click "Turn Off Shuffle" (if it shows this).

Itubes stops playing after each song. Even in Party Shuffle not songs appear. Is there setting to change this?

Are there check marks beside all the songs? Unchecked songs have to be clicked on individually to play them, checked songs will play one after the other. Want iTunes to play on my computer speakers and via airport at same time

Can I have my iTune music files playing simultaneously on both my desktop computer speakers as well as to an airport express that is plugged into my whole house audio system. It seems as though I have to choose between one or the other on the pulldown menu in the bottom right-hand corner of iTunes. Am I missing something?

i'm no expert on this, but the Airport Express FAQ (Windows) suggests you can do this, so long as you've got itunes 6.0.2 and the latest firmware for your Airport Expresses:

You don't have the headset jack plugged all the way in. Make sure the plastic on the headset jack is flush with the body of the Nano.

We like listening to music playing from wife's user account.
I want to do some work from my account.
I don't want iTunes to open on my user account.
It keeps trying to, giving me the alert beep and the "Cannot Open iTunes" alert.

Thanks. I messed up with my husbands iphone because I was told the wrong thing. Now everytime I sync his phone it makes it look just like the other phone I had. Do you know how I can fix taht for his phone? Any settings I can turn off that will prevent all of my apps/contacts, etc from auto populating his phone?

ITunes will no longer shuffle or play continuously

Hey all - my iTunes will no longer play continuously.....I've tried to set it to shuffle but to no avail. It just plays one song and then stops. Any suggestions? Oh - and I have updated the software, and uninstalled and then reinstalled it as well!

I have downloaded Oblivion six times and it continues to bring the HD version. I have unchecked the "Download HD when available" but I continue to get a file that is 4.4 gigs large.

You purchased the HD version, not the regular version. It will continue to download the version you bought. If you want the SD version you have to shell out for it. Apple doesn't do returns.
Watch your movie. You can always put other stuff back on later, especially music.

I've got all the "Skip when shuffling"s unchecked, but it still just plays one and then stops. How do I get several consecutive videos to play continuously, without me having to select each one when the time comes and manually click "Play"?

Presumably you are talking about the Music App?
Are you talking about repeating the same song? If so, have you used the repeat control?

Right click on a movie(in iTunes), and click "get info" then go to album artwork and add the artwork that you want...
