Want Lync sessions on separate computers to be synchronized and show the same information.

I use LYNC from three PCS (two development PCs from home/work, plus a laptop that goes anywhere/everywhere.) The problem I have with Lync is that if I leave a session open on one PC then future conversations will go there. When I switch to another
PC then I don't have the messages that went to one of the other sessions on the other PCs.
I also would like LYNC to deliver message when the other party is offline. It is okay that they get the message at a later time, or warn me that they are offline, but it is frustrating that LYNC does not allow me to even send a message when other
party is offline. Skype allows messages to occur when other party is offline.
Are both of these options/choices in Lync Server that can be turned off/on?

Regarding the first point; You're correct, Lync will keep firing messages to that PC until such a time that it is unsure of which of your signed-in end points you might be using. At which point it will fire to all endpoints, noting the one you reply on,
and then making that its new 'go to'. This is Lyncs point of presence algorithm and you wont be able to work around it. That said, when you move PC or device, just jump into your conversation history and pick it up from there - all conversations, regardless
of endpoint, end up in the same history store.
Second point; it's the nature of Lync I'm afraid. There is no option that enables you to send an IM to someone that is offline.
Both your points would be addressed through the use of persistent chat, but the scope of this Lync feature is geared more towards groups of people rather than satisfying an single individuals requirements.

Your problem has nothing to do with the faults or limitations of a web browser.

This is the general policy on which all websites are built. Even if you try to login the same website from another web browser, you won't be able to login from the second platform either. I just check it. Tried on Mozilla and Internet Explorer.

How to keep all text and formats the same on multiple computers?

I'm creating a file in InDesign CS6 on my Windows computer. I keep everything on my flash drive. When I go to school, I bring my flash drive with me and open it up on the Mac computer, but then there are are compatibility issues. There seems to be missing fonts and formats but the school uses the same version of InDesign I do. Now I was told a lot of things of how to keep the fonts and formats the same (embed the links, package the files, outline the text, save as IDML). However, it is not clear to me what each of those options do, so I don't know when or why to use them. So I just want to make sure that when I bring in my file in next Monday, I won't have any missing fonts or formats. What would you suggest is the proper things to do to keep everything the same on multiple computers? And could you please explain why?

If you want cross-paltform comaptibility limit the fonts to OpenType or Windows TrueType formats, both of which work on both Mac and PC. To avoid missing font warnings the fonts must either be installed on each computer, or they must be in a folder named Document Fonts in the same location as the .indd file they are to work with. Packaging the file will build taht folder for you.
the rest of the stuff in your list won't help you. .idml would allow you to open on an older version, but does nothing for your situation. Embedding the links will keep you from having missing links, but so will packaging, and embedded links will make the file much larger and harder to work with.
For goodness sake, don't even think about outlining the text. It stops being text when you do that and you can no longer edit it.
And finally. do yourself a big favor and don't attempt to actually work on your file directly from the flash drive. Copy the whole package folder to the hard drive, work on it, then copy back. You don't want to know how many files are fatally damaged by write errors on flash drives.

You don't. Each ID is associated with a separate account. Each of you should maintain a separate user account on your computer so as to maintain separate iTunes Libraries. Do not sync your phone with your husbands account or Apple ID and vice-versa or your data will become inter-mixed or worse - deleted from the phone.
Try to understand that iDevices are intended for use by one person with one Apple ID, one iTunes Library, and one iTunes account. They are not multi-user devices.

No. Apple only keeps the pdf file for a book for 30 days. Without the library and book project you won't be able to reorder the same book.

By design, the organizer (and any other database management systems) is there to prevent you from duplicating your media files. The catalog management allows you to have the same image in different categories or albums. Duplication in different folders is to be absolutely avoided.
The same image file can have multiple tags like 'family', 'vacations', 'birthdays' and be present in three different albums with the same names. On obvious advantage is less disk space. Another one with your present folder system is that if you edit one of your duplicates, the other ones are unchanged.
I don't see an easy way to make your present folder structure simplified for the organizer ...

to contact iTunes store support, follow these steps:
1. Go to expresslane.apple.com
2. select 'itunes' and then 'itunes store'
3. select a topic and a subject
4. click 'continue' and then 'email'
5. fill out the form and explain your situation
6. they will respond within 24 hours usually
