Want Print Priview of check box on smart forms

Hi Expert,
I want Print Priview of check box on smart forms.
I get the checkbox symbol when i give the print out but it not show in priview.
So pls suggest how it show in print priview.

Hi,
If you used the symbols then you cannot see the print preview of the checkboxes. This can seen in the print. If you want to have the print preview of checkbiex you have to create the Window of same size as check size and place it where you required. This cannot be possible with symbols

We can create symbols in smartforms. For this, change the editor to text editor and then goto insert->characters->SAP Symbols and select the symbol you want.
You cannot see the symbols in print preview, it'll appear only on a hard copy.
You can also create as Text Element. In the left side of the right window,you can see a icon called Editor.Click it.
Then in the Menu,
go to->Change Editor
Then in the menu,
Insert->Characters->Displayable characters,select the character you want.Otherwise,if you want to insert SAP Icon,select that option instead of Displayable Character.

Multiple Report print out on Check box click

I am using version apex_3.2.
I have created Report and define check box in report. i want to give print functionality on check box. As i tick multiple invoices from report and click on print link defined below to the report, Selected Invoices should be printed. How i can do this?

<li> If Yes - Are you looking to generate URL based on user check-box selection? If so, please provide sample URL format which will accept multiple invoice numbers.

Look to the right under "More Like This". Your issue has been discussed many many times. The error you are seeing is because you do not have enough free "contiguous" space on your hard drive. Read the other threads that address this issue to find how to solve the issue.
Or, put "The disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved" into the search box at the upper right of this page.

Printing of tax amounts in PO Smart Form

I want to print the tax condition amounts calculated by a tax code for each line item in Purchase Order smart form. From which tables and fields can I get the data.

I checked in KONP table but it only contains the tax code details like condition types, condition rates. But what I need is say if a tax code "X1" contains two condition types Excise Duty and Ed. Cess and the rates are 16% and 2% respectively. This information is stored in KONP table as a condition record. I use this tax code "X1" in my purchase order line item, suppose the base value of the item is Rs.1000/-, it calculates Excise duty @16% and Ed.Cess@2% and the condition value comes to Rs.160/- and Rs.3.20 respectively. From which table I can get these values of Rs.160/- and Rs.3.20. KONP table doesn't have these values. I want to print these two values on PO smart form.
Please give me some solution.

Preview not saving check boxes in PDF forms

For some reason 10.6's preview will not save check boxes in PDF forms, you can click them but as soon as you save them they disappear.

I'm having the exact problem. I have a fillable PDF form that has many checkboxes. Saving the pdf (doesn't matter whether it's 'Save', 'Save All', or 'Save As' under the File menu) will clear/reset the checkboxes in the file.
Anyone know of a workaround for this? Or, is Apple fixing this soon? I really don't want to get Acrobat Pro 9 (well, I don't think it's compatible with Snow Leopard yet anyway)

In a window go for text elements & then go for change editor & use the following:
Insert->Characters->SAP symbols->SYM_CHECKBOX
It will not show checkbox in print preview. Take a printout.

Hi Arun,
Plz be more clear. If you are referring to the frames for the windows, then you need to check the checkbox marked 'Lines With' in <b>Box and Shading</b> under <b>Output Options</b> tab of the window.
Also, this will be visible only if any text is written inside the window.

Acrobat 9-forms-Radio buttons print different than check boxes

I am using Acrobat Pro 9 to create forms.
I've used both radio buttons and check boxes (that are circles).
Forms were designed in InDesign with Zapf Dingbats as the open circles to be filled in.
I used radio buttons when the user had to pick one over the other.
I used check boxes when there were multiple choices or I wanted the user to be able to uncheck a box. (I used the circle style so they would look like radio buttons).
The radio buttons are printing differently than the check boxes. It looks almost like there is an overlay on top of the actual open circle created by Zapf Dingbats.
I checked the "appearance" window and there is no border or fill color on the radio buttons (same for the check boxes).
Under the <general> tab, <common properties> is visible. I'm assuming it should be in order for the radio button to appear on the form.
I would appreciate any input as to how to fix this.

That's just the way radio buttons are, and one reason I rarely use them in preference to check boxes. If Adobe wanted to, they could allow you to use any appearance you want for both the selected an unselected state of a check box or radio button, but they've actually further restricted your options over the years.

I'm developing a small catalogue of forms, not all of which I want to print after they're produced. I work in a hospital, and prepare patient data forms (up to 24) based on the patient room, or bed. I would prefer to not print the form of the bed if it's empty (no patient registered there). What I had in mind was including a check box on each of the forms, and the form, or forms, (pages) with a check box checked would not print. Thanks for any suggestions.

Create Check box in Tabular form and report

This is Marilyn. I wanted to know if anybody can help me with the following scenario.
I created tabular form which has some LOV columns, and some check boxes. When the user clicks on "add row" button, I want to populate the row with the values from the LOV display to be selected by user, and some of the blank check box also display as empty check box in order for user to select check or uncheck them.
If this is possible, can you provide an example?

Referencing Check Boxes on Another Form

From one form, I want to reference the rows that have been checked on another form.
The Process
I have a form with many items/rows. Each item/row has a check box and Unique Id on this form. I would like to click multiple check boxes indicating the rows I want to work with. When I click a button, I would like to open a new form with only those items I have checked.
While I have lots of documentation, I am so new I am not sure where to look.
