Want the Same Mail on all Devices
It's annoying that if I read an email on my iPhone6 ... that it will not download on my AIR and/or iPad Mini.
I can't see where I can change my settings so that my emails will show up on all of my devices.
Using Apple Mail and my main email account is with earthlink.net

EarthLink is a POP account. If you want your mail in sync across devices you need to switch to an IMAP account like iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com. All of these offer free accounts.

Why do you have to buy the same app on all devices?
If you have multiple apple products like iphone, ipad, mac..ect. I understand the different versions of the OS but still, I would think they'd have a bundle price or something. I've had to rebuy the same apps over and over. Is there any way around this?
Some apps are universal, most are not.
As provided, these are entirely different platforms.
Just as you would have to buy a movie twice of you wanted to watch it on a dvd player and a vcr.
You would have to buy the same video game twice if you wanted to play on a Wii and a playstation. -

Go to "Settings > iCloud" and delete your current account that you do not want to use.
After that you have the ability to sign in with another Apple ID/iCloud account. Just go to "Setting > iCloud" again and sign in. -

I want to use the same account for all my apple devices (macbook air, imac and iphone). I can't see how I can amend the iphone account because it is in grey? I also can't remember the password for this account so i can't even delete it and start again?

ThanksDeleting an iCloud account only deletes it from the Device, not from iCloud. In iOS 8, the name of this setting changed to "Sign Out" as that is a better reflection of what actually happens. Your iCloud data remains on the server, available to devices still signed into the account, but the device you sign out of the account on is disconnected from the account, and as a result, the iCloud data from that account is removed from the device. It will redownload to the device should you sign back into the account.
The only issue you'll run into when you switch between accounts is with my photo stream photos older than 30 days. When you delete (or sign out of) and account, your photo stream photos are deleted along with the other data from the account in question. However, unlike other data which remains on the server and can redownload to your device when you sign back in, my photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. When you sign back in, you will only get back my photo stream photos added in the last 30 days (as older photos are no longer in iCloud to redownload). Like other account data, any my photo stream photos on your other devices signed into the account are unaffected by this. If you want to keep older my photo stream photos on your device as you change iCloud accounts, save them to your camera roll before deleting (signing out of) the account. -

Yes, you would sign out of iTunes & App Store: Settings>iTunes & App Store, click on the Apple ID, click on Sign Out. Then sign back on with the new Apple ID. Also, if you have an iCloud account with the other Apple ID, you would delete that iCloud account, and then sign on with your new ID: Settings>iCloud>Delete Account.

How can you set up more than one device on iTunes? I have an iPad, iPod, itouch and iPhone. I don't want the same on all devices. I have all my music/videos on iTunes on my mac book pro. Can you set up separate folders for each device and drop in what ever music/videos from the main iTunes library?
In itunes it is called syncing and you can choose exactly what content to sync to all devices and it can be different for all of them

As long as it is pointed to iTunes it will be accessible via home sharing on Apple TV.

Incoming messages comes into INBOX folder only in 1 IOS ( iPhone ) device and not in other devices ( iPad and iMac ).
Clicking on mail folder, messages are downloaded as in manual mode.
Why messages are not pushed at same time in all devices ( mac + IOS devices ) ?

[email protected]While trying to find a solution, I am discovering my mail problem is much deeper than just messages not appearing in the "Sent" mailbox. I have found some of them appearing in the "Trash" mailbox and some appearing there mulitple times, often with my account name in the "TO" field. I'm also finding some unread mail there that should be in the "Junk" mailbox. So it would appear there are many problems with ISO 7 and mail. I have tried deleting and restablishing the account and two complete iPhone restores. Neither helped. What is the biggest puzzle is that on my second iPhone, the one that upgraded without an error, mail is working perfectly well. Has anyone found a solution to any mail problems on ISO 7 devices? If so, please reply.

Go to the mailbox tab in the Mail application and selecting "synchronize iCloud". Whenever you delete mail from one of your devices it will automatically delete from the others--within iCloud.

when you switch on icloud for Contacts on a PC, it will tell you its merging all contacts with icloud... -
I can't send emails from Mail. I have three different accounts set up and have the same problem with all. The mail just sits in my outbox. All worked fine until Yosemite upgrade. Recent update has not fixed problem.
I have been experiencing the same problem. My mail app won't even open on my Late 2011 Macbook Pro. It will show as open, but the app will never actually show up.
