Want to avg only a range of subtotals

My customers want a worksheet that displays summarized FY subtotals and then an average of the FY subtotals. Easy so far. The problem is that they want data summarized as subtotals for the previous (complete) six FYs as well as the current (incomplete) FY. They then want an average of only the complete FYs. So they want a display (with drilldown) of seven summarized FYs; but a final average of the sums for only a range of the sheet. I can, of course, write a condition to exclude 2003 and the average is then correct; but the display no longer shows all seven years.
I have tried creating a new item for the folder using AVG(col) OVER (order by FY range interval '6' year preceding) to creating a running six year avg window; but then this displays as a detail item and I can't get it to aggregate to the FY subtotal level (and as a detail, it is only correct for what the customer is looking for on 30-Sept of the year).
Any ideas? Discoverer won't let me edit the totals to put in an avg(decode(fy, 2003, null, value) construct. I'm stuck.

Ive seen this question asked many times. Sadly, I think this is just a Discoverer limitation. I needed this functionality myself, but still have not found a soultion.

in the layout click on the layout symbol and check the subtotal checkbox for the filed you want to display the subtotals.. sort as per the sequence you want and save the layout...
this can be done if the field catalog is defined to do sum for that fields..

Hello Luis,
The update rate on the AI-102 module is 360Hz, which means that you can only accurately acquire waveforms with frequencies below 180Hz.
FieldPoint wasn't made for high speed measurements, so you will have to make sure that you are able to acquire the waveform you want to with the hardware that you have.
If you want to know how you would do the acquisition, I urge you to take a look at the LabVIEW shipping examples.

As for writing to the file, you can take a look at examples under Fundamentals»File Input and Output. You can use the functions included in the Functions Palette under Programming»File I/O.

In the Print & Scan system preferences, does it indicate it is using a generic printer driver or a Gutenprint driver?
Also, if you click on Options & Supplies, you might want to check and see if has to be enabled. That kind of sounds odd though.
Another thing is it might not be showing. If the bottom of the print dialog has a button that says "Show Details," click it. Then, you can change settings in the popup menu.

Hello Prasad,
Many cases you will find that there are standard message types for change idocs.
For Instance let us take Purchase order:
--For Order create ORDERS is the message type.
--For Order Change ORDCHG is the message type.
You will just need to maintain both in the outbound parameter in the Partner Profile in we20.
From XI side this means there are separate interfaces -- ORDERS.ORDERS02 & ORDCHG.ORDERS02 for instance. You just need to treat this as different interfaces and Configure. One last thing . If the basic type is same eg. ORDERS02 then you can use the same message mapping program for both Change and create if you want -- although the interface mapping will be different.
Make sure to maintain metadata in IDX2 in XI.

I have a requirement to transfer files from one location to another location, I am able to do this successfully using FTP Adapters.
I have some Issues please help any one.
1) When I deployed my process it is creating one instance for one file transfer, Suppose If I have 50 files in my Get
directory, After deploy the process 50 instances are creating and 50 Email generating saying files are not tranfered successfully.
Instead of creating 50 Instances I want to create only one Instance.
2) When files are not transferd it will fire error mail saying that not success (I want to display all file names(not tranfered files) in my mail , i.e whatever files are not tranfered, need to diplay in mail).
3) And I am not able to transfer 0 size files, But in BPEL Console Instance is creating for 0 size file also and I am getting Email for success... and In put directory 0 size file is not showing. (Instance is creating and Success Email coming but file is not exists in Put directory)
Please help me.

iPhone do not do automatic update. You have to manually trigger the updates.
If your Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Automatic Downloads > Music, Apps, Books are ON then when you purchase any new content/item with any devices/computer iTunes, it will automatically download. Switch it OFF if you do not want that to happen.

Want to use only DAC client on Windows machine

I want to use only DAC client from my windows machine. I have all other components on UNIX machine. Now my question is,
1.
Do we need to install all OBIEE components & then Oracle BI Apps on windows machine to use DAC client? Or just copying DAC folder from some different windows machine onto my machine will be fine to use DAC client?
2. If it is must to install OBIEE for installaing Oracle BI Apps(As DAC is part of BI Apps), What are the minimum components of OBIEE that i need to install?

The supported way to do this is to install everything on Windows. However as you have see by installing the software on UNIX the file copy approach works. You can try it just make sure you have the proper path of folders. Since you will not actually have BI EE installed you still have to create an "OracleBI" folder because some DAC files look to that folder hierarchy. Also make sure you have the Java in path with no spaces.
Let us know how it works out.

I have 2 data sources that I am trying compare Once has a start date and end date and the other has a constant list of values and dates. I want to AVG the values for the time between the start and end date in the other table. See example below....

After testing the issue in my environment, we can refer to the steps below to achieve your requirement:
Drag a table to design surface, insert Datetime field, Datetime field and Value field.
In the Row Groups pane, right-click the Details group to add a parent group grouped by the expression below:

Right-click the Details Group to add a total row after.
Modify the expressions of new row to like below:

Right-click the second row to select Row Visibility with Hide option in the table.

Hi,
If you have Infoprovider in BW with data, then you can build a query, based on that infoprovider you can build Query in Query Designer.
TCode is RRMX..in BW or you directly access from Start from Desktop -->All Programs --> Business Explorer.
Coming to Quarter you can hide them in Query , selecting option as hide in Query Designer.

Right. You can't do what you are trying to do it's impossible. You can stick an accept attribute on your form tag and It MIGHT work. But this is browser dependent and will not neccessarily be enforced.
Best to do what I told you before. Validate the uploaded file for type on the server.
It is showing All files. I tried with accept ,
enctype also , but failed.
Then you are hosed.
can we do with FileFilter class in java.Is it
possible.
How do you see this working? If you want you could build an applet that you could sign that would upload the file for you I suppose. Seems a lot of unneccessary work.

we cannot change the setting of item category.
in the customizing we maintain the links between the item category and account assignmnet category.
these changes has to be done only in the account assignmnet category.
